Great local spot. Had Happy Hour specials on 2/12/26. Food came out quick and fresh. I like the big tables and TVs all over. The place looks clean. Parking is tight & awkward, but there's plenty of parking at Fred Meyer and at the car wash gas spot across the street. We use to love this place, but our last two visits have been highly disappointing. I always get onion rings and the last two times they have been overcooked. First time to the point of being burnt black. They should've never been put on my plate. I should've sent them back, but it took so long to get our food. I just ate the ones that were salvageable. It's almost like their policy is to just serve whatever's cooked regardless of whether or not it's edible. This last visit I had a Smashburger. I was really disappointed. It was so dry. And the bun had been toasted black. I will definitely never order one again if we choose to come back here again. Cute neighborhood bar. Service is friendly but slow. I just expect better. I had an awesome burger off the fresh sheet. The Cook's Logan and Emily did an excellent job. The atmosphere was chill. The food was delicious. They deserve recognition for their hard work excellent food and consistency. Every time I come in and they're there the food is great anytime else it isn't so great when you have people who are part time and don't care it shows management listen to customers. Cuban sandwich! so excellent! I am a "juicy type " when it comes to sandwiches so I would have asked for extra dressing( spicy mustard) but not complaining! I walked in for the first time today and loved the decor and atmosphere. The server was super friendly and very engaging not to mention the service itself was amazing. I had a Philly sandwich paired with French fries. The food was well prepared and packed with flavor. The seasoned fries were remarkable and the sandwich was really beautifully done. Great place to watch a game! We went to Red Wheel for lunch during March Madness and it was a great experience! It was busy but we managed to find a table. The staff was excellent! The servers were super nice and prompt. They were very helpful and prompt. The food came out quickly despite the business and it was delicious! We had Mini corn dogs, tater tots, burger and fries and the cobb salad. We had fountain beverages and refills kept coming which was great! This is a great place to go if you're a regular customer or a heavy drinker. Servers only seemed interested in engaging with people they know despite our attempts to eke out answers to our menu & beer questions. I'm not a drinker so I was virtually invisible. Ended up walking to the bar to pay our tab. Another complaint is that the guy was a bit taken back because we didn't want beer. Flying all day, drinking...I was losing the battle. No Pinot Grigio/Gri, bubbles of any kind and he couldn't even make a Mai Tai. Wow...nothing but wells and crappy service. Highly doubt there will be a 3rd trip back. First time here we always drive by but haven't stopped well we finally decided to grab a bite and it did not disappoint!!! Food is spot on! The cheese curds are hands down my fav in Spokane so far! We went here for lunch during the week. And we were pleasantly surprised. The only reason it's getting a four star is because the parking kind of sucks. However, the food was wonderful. The service was great. And the prices were reasonable for today's time. Now this is a time to go out and support this business because they are being affected by the construction work on Thor and Freya area. Decent neighborhood bar & grill. Dining area is open and inviting, with plenty of windows to brighten up every table (which I like). Big patio area, too. Food was good bar fare. We were welcomed by nice gals behind the bar with genuine smiles and hellos, and the place was filled with friendly patrons who were obviously enjoying a rare experience to savor over the last draconian year. Our server was pretty much a hologram of a cardboard humanoid, yet that's never a deal breaker for moi. But whoever chose the techno hillbilly hip-hop as the ambient lunchtime music needs to rethink that choice for the multi-gen diners. I'd rather listen to Bollywood music over that. And you better like MMA, because it was on every TV (many) in the joint. Again, not a deal breaker, but c'mon... The burger I ordered was unfortunately typical of what we'll probably see from now on in joints like this: fist-sized and $14. They had booked me for entertainment on the 17th of August and the 7th of September .....I had left the Oregon coast early to make the 17th show and red wheel cancelled it because of the heat w no compensation to me as well. They could have rebooked me for the 19th but they had told me that they had a big catering event that night so they didn't think it was a good idea ( but had no entertainment booked for that night) They then just now canceled the 7th of September because they claim that the company decided it was going to be canceling music events for the rest of the year again with no compensation to me.... I had played there a few times last year but a new girl named Shelby had taken over and apparently she does not abide by her hand shaking agreements I get it I'm an independent contractor with no written contract but in the 34 years of doing entertainment only one other club has done that to me in the past Red wheel bar and grill is not going to get quality entertainment with those kind of tactics Very disappointed in them read more

Came here for brunch with some friends. Interesting place for the location but it was good. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We tried to sit on the patio but it was chilly so they helped us move everything inside with no hesitation. We started with some Bloody Mary's which was so loaded with breakfast goodness! We all had something different but I had the breakfast scramble. It was decent. Loved the potatoes and how perfectly crispy but light they were. Friends had biscuits and gravy which was good but some biscuits were a little hard and the gravy tasted powered. Nice place to stop for a diner/bar styled breakfast. read more

I happened upon this quaint restaurant while running errands on a Monday. I ordered the teriyaki Cobb with a Dr Pepper for lunch. Needless to say, the food was quite delicious, and the staff was very friendly! I will definitely return to Red Wheel to try some of their other options. The food looks very well executed, and if the Cobb salad was any indication I'd say that I will not be disappointed next time around! The prices were reasonable as well. My meal was $15.79 for a generous amount of food plus drink. They were also enforcing state law for COVID, but it did not seem to dampen anyone's experiences.
