Cuban sandwich! so excellent! I am a "juicy type " when it comes to sandwiches so I would have asked for extra dressing( spicy mustard) but not complaining! It is a food dining/ tavern, The bartender was polite and kind. I recommend this conformable and feel at home place to everyone. Can't wait to bring bk the whole family - the appetizers look amazing too!! Thanks for the tasty food!!

Nice sports bar atmosphere. Pretty roomy on the inside. Parking isn't the best. I enjoyed my bacon blue burger with tots. Great prices on beer. Bonus! Coug watch parties.

Pretzel

This place has a great feeling when you walk in.. great set up. But let's talk about the bar great drinks... while your waiting for the deliciousness of your food... waiting for it is everything... Southern delight burger was ridiculous. So good and taste was out of this world with the 2 Patties.. Then you have this huge pretzel that is also insane in size. Great food great place....another Hidden spot in Spokane....

Great place to watch a game! We went to Red Wheel for lunch during March Madness and it was a great experience! It was busy but we managed to find a table. The staff was excellent! The servers were super nice and prompt. They were very helpful and prompt. The food came out quickly despite the business and it was delicious! We had Mini corn dogs, tater tots, burger and fries and the cobb salad. We had fountain beverages and refills kept coming which was great! The bar had a lot of regulars which added to the fun vibe!If you are looking for some good bar food and grey staff then this is your spot!

This is a great place to go if you're a regular customer or a heavy drinker. Servers only seemed interested in engaging with people they know despite our attempts to eke out answers to our menu & beer questions. I'm not a drinker so I was virtually invisible. I don't expect red carpet service but plain old service would have been nice. They spent a lot of money renovating the place just to make outsiders feel unwelcome.

I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

When we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the guy at the bar was genuinely friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The food prep was impressively fast, and everything was packaged neatly and thoughtfully for takeout. We started with the pretzel, which was solid, but the real standout was the mustard--super unique with a tangy, spicy, almost wasabi-like kick that made it memorable. For mains, the curry dish hit a great balance--flavorful without being overpowering or too mild. And the biggest endorsement came from my daughter, who ordered the kids pasta with marinara and added chicken--she declared it the "best spaghetti she's ever had!" (Shh... don't tell mom.) Overall, great service, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is I'd love to explore more of the menu next time--but based on this visit, we'll definitely be back.

Courtney took our order at the counter and even helped my husband carry our beers back to the table. She saw that we had our pup so offered to get him a bowl of water. This is a very dog-friendly place both inside and outside so you will not be only relegated to outside if it is a bit chilly. We ordered the Epic Pretzel for the group which is as big and good as it sounds. This was followed up with our orders of Chicken Caesar Salad, Carnitas Quesadilla, and Nashville Chicken Sando, each of which was delicious and so filling that this was the last meal of the day at lunchtime. There is also a beer for every palate. The Brewhouse has many different rooms and vibes as well as merch that you will want to peruse. They are doing a cool collaboration with Japan so we had to get some merch. We found this place on a whim and felt so lucky (like the Japanese Fortune Cat) to find it!

Volleyball tournament at Eastern U but decided to stay in Spokane @The Louie (check out that review too) for the weekend AND IT'S RESTAURANT WEEK, YAY US!!! Note: this may not be a long review because I put off writing this review. In short food and service is spot on. GO AND TRY! Make sure you go during happy hour so you can try a bunch of food and if you're not full yet order dinner, LOL We walk in on a Friday night not knowing restaurant week was happening and decided to walk over early since we're meeting up with friends...so happy hour just started too! Now we got SPOILED because we're looking at three different menus: happy hour, restaurant week and their everyday menu. Each had something we wanted to try so let the ordering / food fest begin! Street corn ribs, Brussels chip = super light, pokè tostada, steelhead chowder (not pictured), halibut, sea bass...many cocktails since we walked and dessert. We had dinner with friends so there was much more food on the table than in the review. And if you get to the bottom of this review and don't try Steelhead Bar & Grille when in Spokane, it'll be your loss!

The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
