It's a shame that this place has gone down!! We've been going/taking out for the 14 years we've been in this area. They changed management and it's just not worth going to anymore. Our last meal was all in 1 take out container and broccoli juices all in the potatoes, very chewy chicken RWB(which we always get) . Called, left message and even wrote to the NEW management company and didn't get a callback!!!!!! Done going!!! Shame on them!!! They also fired the best bartender ever, that was there for years.!!!! I really like their steak salad and the french onion soup...those two are solid. But honestly, for takeout? not much else hits. Just being real. But the vibe when you're actually there? totally different story. I love going in and parking it at the bar, grabbing a drink, maybe chatting with whoever's around. It's just fun. I live in PV but my sissy lives here so we go here a lot. The service isn't amazing or anything, but like, who even cares?? You're not there for 5-star treatment, you're there to hang out, snack on something decent, and people-watch. So today is my Birthday and I wanted lunch form the area favorite restaurant Red White and Brew. I sat at the bar to ordered takeout and enjoyed a tasty brew while I waited. The bartender was very friendly and took great attention to all her folks, the standard high quality service here. I ordered an 18" half cheese and half sausage and mushroom pizza to carry home. The pizza was delicious. The crust was even all the way around and the thickness was consistent for the whole pie which takes practice (I know). I did see some flop but it was a 10 minute drive home. The undercarriage looked good enough that I think Dave Portnoy would be okay with it. The sauce was hearty with chunks of onions and tomatoes and wasn't overwhelmed with too much herbs. The sausage had a great flavor with hints of fennel and paired nicely with the mushrooms. The toppings were well distributed and heavily balanced so that a fat person would be happy. CHEESE.... there was plenty of cheese and you will not need to order extra for sure. What a great birthday lunch y'all. I highly recommend this place. read more

My boyfriend and I drove up from Tucson for a weekend getaway and ended up at Red White and Brew -- hands down one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our server, Kay, was incredible. She walked us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm, gave thoughtful recommendations based on what we liked, and checked in on us just the right amount. You can tell she really knows her stuff and cares about her tables. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and everything from the service to the drinks was on point. Perfect place to eat after a day of tubing the Salt River. Located on the way back to the freeway, this place is a perfect stop before trudging home. The burgers are particularly good. Fresh, big, juicy and perfectly cooked. The hot sandwiches here are hearty and tasty as well. My wife had the Cobb salad and it was huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. Points off for the nuts sprinkled with cinnamon. That just doesn't go. Maybe the best part was the toffee cake. It was one of the best desserts we've ever had. A moist, perfectly fluffy cake with just the right mix of toffee and white chocolate sprinkles, topped with fresh whipped cream. Yummmmmm. A great stop with something for everyone: pizza, burgers, steak, chicken dishes, salads, and a great desert. Great service too. It's our new Salt River after-float stop. read more

What a wonderful restaurant. The food was amazing. I split a beet and peach salad. It had walnuts, feta cheese amazing dressing, so good. We also split lemon basil chicken. It was so delicious and had just the right spices to season it. The portions were large so we split the salad and entree. The waitress was helpful, by splitting the meal in the kitchen and gave us separate dishes. We sat in a booth that faced the kitchen, so we were able to see the food coming out. This is a follow-up review to my earlier comment. The business manager, Paul L, contacted me. He apologized for the food prep and service. He assured me that he communicated the concerns to all parties. With this action I dined at RW&B with three friends Tuesday night. We were seated and placed our drink & food orders. After which I met Paul. Again he assured me that all parties discussed the issue. That it was corrected. While I didn't order the same dish, the table behind me did! It looked excellent. Properly prepared and served as described on the menu. Would order this dish again without any reservations. Congrats to Paul for his immediate attention. By the way I had the Chilean Sea Bass. Decided to swing by here with a friend after a hike at Saguaro Lake--because nothing says "post-hike recovery" like martinis, right? We both started with dirty martinis, my first one ever. Shockingly, it was pretty good, even though I detest olives. Go figure. We kicked things off with the Mexican street corn appetizer, which was absolutely amazing--like, I'd come back just for that. Then we shared a Cobb salad that totally hit the spot. (Sharing salad felt weirdly responsible after the martinis, but hey, balance.) Our server was an absolute gem--so sweet and attentive. Place smelled of dish rags. Dining room was loud, tables were dirty. Hostess was a snotty brat. They must get away with this because they're in NE Mesa with little to no competition in the area. My husband and I were early picking up a to go order. Stopped at the bar and had a cocktail. I walked over to the to go counter and got chasided by some very young employee that I was not allowed to enter from the restaurant side. Did not know that. There was one couple in the restaurant that's it. I asked for a manager, explaining how I felt and that it was inappropriate. There are no signs posted anywhere stating no entrance or employees only. The manager said he would speak to the employee. Totally uncalled for. So my question to anyone reading this, what pizza place would you recommend because I'm done with this place? TIA read more

Great place for lunch in Mesa. We got right in at the noon hour too. I had lunch with my sister today. I had a nom blue cheese salad with grilled tenderloin and a tasty Ale. My sister had French onion soup and thought it was tasty maybe a bit too much cheese but she ate it all. The bread was tasty as well. read more

Wow, we have been missing out on this gem! It was jampacked on a Saturday night, but luckily, we put our name on the online waitlist ahead of time (see their website). The timing was slower than what the waitlist said (said 10-20 minutes from the start and probably took 35ish instead). But we loved it! We sat on the patio which was nice, considering the location is just a strip mall kind of area, not anything overly fancy, but they did well at making it a cute environment. Our waiter was super helpful and quick. The bread that comes out first was yummy. But the winner was the Lemon Basil Chicken over linguini! This is a pasta I will dream about and seek out in the future. Part of me hates finding something I absolutely love the first time because it's all I'm going to want from here on out! Disappointing Valentine's Shrimp RWB over linguini had minimal taste and appeared oily. Shrimp were okay but over all not impressive for $30! All American burger requested to be cooked medium but turned out rare to medium rare. RWB gets so much business they should know how to cook burgers to order! Very disappointed as they took Shrimp Monaco off the menu, which was what we always ordered and love. No plans to return unless our favorite returns. read more

Bar service has declined since Dan departure. My last experience while sitting at the bar, my first drink was slow in coming. My empty glass sat on the edge of the bar while the bartender walked past it several times before I had to ask for a second drink. After waiting for my drink I had to remind him about my drink. Spontaneous Wednesday night We decided to sit in the bar area, lively atmosphere, bar itself was full, so we grabbed one of the bar tables, just one left at 4pm. We were greeted by Andy, he was upbeat, smiley, but professional, he grabbed our bottle of wine and went over the long list of items available. We chose the swordfish and Alaskan halibut, both were outstanding, moist and not overcooked. Andy was always walking by checking on us without being intrusive, extremely professional, we very much enjoyed his service, the delisous food and the ambiance of the restaurant, can't wait to get back and try other specialties. read more

The server was great, but the kitchen was a little slow getting our food out. The food was very good. The price was also on the higher end. For dinner the price wasn't too bad, but I went back a few days later for lunch with a friend. I got a salad with a salmon fillet on it. My bill was about $25 with only water to drink. That's fine if you can afford it or it's a special occasion, but it's too pricy for my budget. We will probably go back , but it won't be often. Also, I would like to add that while my salad was very tasty, the greens were that fluffy Spring Mix instead of lettuce. It's a personal preference, but I prefer something more substantial like romaine or even iceberg lettuce. read more
