Spontaneous Wednesday night We decided to sit in the bar area, lively atmosphere, bar itself was full, so we grabbed one of the bar tables, just one left at 4pm. We were greeted by Andy, he was upbeat, smiley, but professional, he grabbed our bottle of wine and went over the long list of items available. We chose the swordfish and Alaskan halibut, both were outstanding, moist and not overcooked. Andy was always walking by checking on us without being intrusive, extremely professional, we very much enjoyed his service, the delisous food and the ambiance of the restaurant, can't wait to get back and try other specialties. read more

The server was great, but the kitchen was a little slow getting our food out. The food was very good. The price was also on the higher end. For dinner the price wasn't too bad, but I went back a few days later for lunch with a friend. I got a salad with a salmon fillet on it. My bill was about $25 with only water to drink. That's fine if you can afford it or it's a special occasion, but it's too pricy for my budget. We will probably go back , but it won't be often. Also, I would like to add that while my salad was very tasty, the greens were that fluffy Spring Mix instead of lettuce. It's a personal preference, but I prefer something more substantial like romaine or even iceberg lettuce. read more

The food has been good, we have ordered four different meals and they have all been good. The soups are amazing. The service has been consistent as well excellent. I'm not sure how but the restaurant seems to be very loud and just conjoined so I wouldn't call it my most comfortable receiving experience or environment. read more

Was in Mesa for work and we looked up places to eat and asked folks around what they'd recommend for happy hour and to accommodate a larger group. We found and heard of Red, White, and Brew for happy hour/early dinner. We called ahead to reserve for a group of about 15 and they got us an area to sit outside, they were really good at taking out orders and rounds of drinks. I got the marinated steak salad, and one of my other coworkers got the fish special with vegetables. They have a full bar and they even got us dessert and sang happy birthday for the December birthdays we were celebrating. Red, white, and brew is located in a shopping plaza so there's plenty of parking around and it can get busy. Service was great and accommodating for our group. read more

Bar service has declined since Dan departure. My last experience while sitting at the bar, my first drink was slow in coming. My empty glass sat on the edge of the bar while the bartender walked past it several times before I had to ask for a second drink. After waiting for my drink I had to remind him about my drink. Great service and food. Tables seemed very close together. It was quite noisy but may be because of Friday evening. I would recommend.

It was a nice atmosphere amd the server was pleasant. I ordered the eggplant Florentine and I wish the server would have mentioned how big it is by it was way too much and hate to waste food. It tasted good, but we are traveling and it was just too much. I woukd habe shared the dish with my husband and we still wouldn't have finished. He orfered bourbon pecan salmon and the salmon was cooked perfect. It was sweeter than I expected, but still tasty. Also a large portion wr probably coul have shared because half was left. It also came with pumpkin ravioli which I loved. It had a tangy Dijon sauce which was interesting and yummy. The beers were great too. Stopped in for dinner on Friday night. The place was packed. The restaurant was clean. A little stale from an atmosphere perspective though. It could use an update, I felt like it probably has been a good 10 years since they freshened up the decor We waited about 25 minutes for a table. The hostess took us directly to a table. Probably the worst seat in the restaurant. Now, I am not one to question seating by host staff. But a pro tip for the restaurant would be to ask the customer if they have a seating preference, would you like a table or a booth? There were booths available when we got seated. Nope. She just automatically put us at the table right by the front door and behind the hostess station. Ali did a nice job waiting on us. The food came out in the appropriate time frame. It was fresh and hot. The chicken sandwich was tender and juicy. My chicken was tender and juicy also. I will say the fries they served with the sandwich were pathetic. I have never seen so many bits and pieces of French Fries on a plate. Over half of the fries were an inch and a half or under. Bits and pieces. The chef that put those fries on the plate saw the quality and still decided to serve them. Also, not sure who handles the info Yelp pulls for the menu, but the prices are WAY off. read more

Gluten free and dairy light eater. I read the reviews of this place and was excited to come. It was a warm day outside but the misters and shade made sitting outside pleasant. They were busy! I'm going to guess this is a great local joint. Has those vibes. I got a chicken cobb salad with blue cheese (so much for my dairy light, I have a soft spot for cheese). This salad was huge!! Probably was at least a couple meals. But I took my chances and ate most of it. A sliced chicken breast was on top. It's hard to cut them when they are so large. But not an issue. The food was average. The flavors didn't blow me away but it was solid food. I didn't like the avocado. It wasn't fresh. My husband got a portobello burger. The mushroom felt a bit undercooked and under seasoned. The aioli was good but didn't add enough flavor to make the mushroom any better. It was average but nothing exciting. Our wait staff was helpful and quick to get us drinks. We didn't feel rushed at all. Overall if we were in the area we would return, but we may not seek out this place. read more

Surprised I never reviewed this place... I've been to this place on and off since they first opened. When they were brand new food was great and service was great... As time went on the quality of food went down and I stop going for years after I ordered the special porterhouse steak and I got a think fatty steak that you would get from Denny's... I complained to manager at that time as I was leaving since manager never came to my table after I sent the steak back. Few other times I went service was so horrible I never went back... I did order pizza for pick up few times... Their pizza is pretty good. So we decided to give it another try and service wad great but overall food was very disappointing. Ordered Wisconsin cheese curd which wasn't bad. Main dish I ordered spicy jamabalay which to me it was too salty and not spicy at all. Also ordered special dish Halibut with crusted pine nuts.. We have been going to Red White and Brew for a few years now and have not yet had anything but exceptional service. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Always pleasantly greatedby the management. The kitchen is always coming up with new daily specials that never cease to amaze. Their New York style decked baked pizzas are amazing along with the many fine dishes they offer including steaks and seafood. There is pretty much everything you could want from an American cuisine here at RWB. Featuring a fantastic bar offering many cocktails, wines and craft beer. The desert is always house made or brought in by an Artisan bakery. Here is an example of a desert we had on New Year's Eve below made by Kay Aguilar. Stopped for a lunch after a day of traveling. Started with some of their bread sticks which were soft , warm and delicious. Hubby had the stuffed pizza roll - meat lovers. Wow it was delicious and full of meat as advertised. The dough had a nice crunch but the perfect chew on the inside. I had the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. It's hard to leave a good review when the best part of the meal was the side salad and bread sticks. I had the pecan crusted Burbon salmon, it was mediocre salmon that was doused in a sugary sauce with pecans. Quite a far cry from a "crusted" piece of salmon. The ravioli with it was tasty other than drowning it in the honey mustard sauce. Very hard to taste any filing when it's drowning in a very strong sauce which overpowers the pumpkin ravioli. read more

This spot is one of my favorite places in east Mesa. It truly is a gem. The specials are always fresh and seasonal and selection is always changing. We have dined here many times and have brought friends and family without disappointment. I am not sure that we have ever ordered anything that we didn't like. We love the fresh bread that is served prior to your meal and you can smell it baking as you enter the restaurant. One of my favorite comfort foods is a good French onion soup and theirs is perfect to satisfy my craving without having to enter a chain steakhouse joint. The pesto chicken cheese tortellini is delicious and a big enough portion for two. If there is any chance of a dessert treat don't sleep on the warm peach cobbler. Next time I'll try to remember to grab fresh pictures but we usually dig in so quickly there's no time for photos! read more

Excellent food! They gave us these delicious bread rolls that were warm buttery and had olive oil and cheese while we were waiting for our food. It was a group of 5 of us so the complimentary rolls went quickly. They gave us 3 plates of refills! Unfortunately they don't do beer flights but it's all good I had a Scottsdale blonde and their rotating cider they just got in. I'm a sucker for ciders and theirs was delicious. For my entree I got the meatball pizza roll which was definitely enough to share. I was actually really full from the complimentary bread rolls so I couldn't eat that much of my entree.
