This location is better than the rest and I will tell you exactly why. Originally I purchased Irish Setter boots from the Rosemead location on June 13th and was given a size 10 after my foot scan. After wearing these tk work I came back to Covina Location. Robs service was an unforgettable timestamp in the customer service industry, recreating the shoe business entirely. Rob and the other gentleman were quick to solve my problem and touch the core on what I genuinely needed. These dudes did some serious scanning on these man heels and discovered I actually need size 8. They were kind and understanding enough to make an exchange for me. I can't say enough about red wing boots, they're pricey but in the end they are worth the money. I picked up a pair of Irish setters and a pair of traction tred boots which are the best boots I've ever owned. The traction tred boots are as soft as a tennis shoe, they offer free replacement shoe laces, they answered all my question , the service is great. Redwings boots are a great product, I use only for work but my only complaint is I could have done it myself but being busy and all I left my boots for an extra protection of toe guard , looks weak , seams like they charge you the 45$ and they squeeze two more pairs of boots. I am an electrical contractor and wear my boots for 12 hours a day. I went to Red Wing shoes about a week ago looking to get a new pair of work boots. I had purchase a pair years ago and was happy with them till the end. I was greeted by a young man named Johnny, He made me feel at ease never pressured, and very patience with all of my questions. he measured my feet, laced up my boots, install othrothotics and even put mink oil on the leater before I walked out happliy with my new pair. Shoe shopping these days are curbside service and you don't get the full treatment of being professionally sized and fitted and the full walk around. After the curbside grab and go and two shifts of foot patrol - these were not the boots for me. Normally I'm a buy 'em and if I hate 'em chuck 'em guy but these were $180.00. I was concerned I was going to get some resistance getting a cash refund. Bare in mind I bought them on Thursday and returned them on Monday and I returned them in perfect condition ( By the way I did pull two shifts of constantly walking and they were so durable they still looked new). Bought a pair of Irish Setters but after a few hours of wearing them the comfort level was not what I expected. Tried to return them for a different pair less then 24 hours later and was denied. The reason was because they had been worn. But when I purchased them the store kept the box. Which means if I had the box I could have just put them in the box and returned them no questions asked. On top of that was not told the return policy upon purchase or when they kept the box. I have come to this location the past 9 years.
