Get the Egg Flower Soup! It's so delicious! I wish I would have gotten a large instead of the small. We called in an order and they said 20 mins. It was ready when I got there. We ordered sesame chicken and chicken with fresh veggies. The portion size was great for the price. You got a full plate of meat along with a side of rice. The service was great too. I really am a brunch person !!! Dinner is too expensive, and I love to meet up with friends, but actually. I love to go by myself and read my books! So being in Tooele for 2 weeks I've been trying all the different restaurants in town , by myself ! I prefer lunch And go everyday ! SOOOO red wok was next ! Just your little Chinese restaurant by the grocery store ! Again , the winning smile on the server , hooked me ! The food was typical Chinese food , great beef, and broccoli , small veg roll , and rice . It's hard to fault Chinese food ,It's just good ! The thing I look for is the meat sometimes it's so fatty and darn chewy , it ruins the dish ! This was perfect! Really enjoyed it ! Red wok was pretty good. In my head it rivals with Panda Express, it's about the exact same price for the meal, except you get a soup in addition. If you wanted to support local you might as well stop here instead of panda. The cheese puffs my wife loves were good. The service was good, they were very nice. This is the most unfathomably bussin Chinese food I've ever had, I live in the salt lake valley and don't like Chinese food usually but I will only ever eat it from here, it's an hour drive from where I live to get it and it's so worth it. My husband and I light candles at the dinner table while eating this food since it's a pilgrimage for us. read more

The salt and pepper wings as well as the chow mein had an overwhelming smell and taste of burned plastic or rubber to the point they were inedible. The sesame chicken and Hunan beef were just ok. These guys do a good job with your typical Asian cuisine. I got a dinner plate and it was everything I wanted it to be. It wasn't my favorite but I still liked it. They have a fair price and they were super fast getting me my food. I really like these guys as a take out option. read more

Moved here a couple months ago and have enjoyed their food about 5 times so far. The chow main is a little oniony for me but the sweet sour pork, orange chicken, and cheese puffs are on point. I really enjoy that they make the food when you order it so it's fresh and not just under a heat lamp for who knows how long. read more

Okay, I've eaten here three times. The food is good, I like the dinner meals. The sesame chicken sauce tasted burnt, not my favorite; I tolerated it with hot sauce. The orange chicken they use real orange and is good. Dumplings are delicious. It's good for what you pay in my opinion. For take out, I'd recommend it. While eating in expect the noise to bounce off the walls and either be awkwardly silent with everyone hearing you or you get a headache with hearing everyone else talk. Every noise magnifies because of all the hard surfaces. They need some sort of noise canceling, in my opinion. There is a girl that works there, that I've seen twice, that is incredibly sarcastic and blunt. Not in a friendly way. First time we went in, she told us she didn't want to do anything because she just wanted to play on her phone and didn't want to deal with customers. She then told us the food was bad and to go somewhere else. This was my first experience here. Second time we went there, two different girls were there and seemed attentive with us. We mentioned that it's good to feel welcomed. The girls both said that they hear that all the time because of the other girl - they knew who we were talking about. Third time we went in weeks later the sarcastic girl said, "No!" as we walked in to find her conversing with a table of three guys. She seemed unsatisfied and annoyed to take our order appearing impatient. She brought us soups with no spoons that I got myself because she went back to talking to these guys for 15 minutes til they left. After the guys left she said she's bored and began to tell us a story about how old guys flirt with her. The story made my girlfriend unsettled. I don't want to go to a place were I feel like I'm an inconvenience. It's not hard to show some sort of customer service. Sorry for disrupting phone time or guy time. Everytime i'm in tooele i make an extra stop to red wok. not only is the food so good, the staff is amazing to. The menu is kinda confusing, but the amazing taste makes up for it. I always have to order the potstickers when i'm there. The servings are enough for two and lunch the next day. Definitely a gem in tooele. read more

We eat there all the time. In our area there are not a lot of dining options, so the Red Wok gets a fair share of our business. This would not be the case if their food were not good. It is a small place with a pretty expansive menu, and they will customize if you let them know what you want. Yes, there are better Chinese meals, but there are also much worse. I spent 30 months in the Orient, and this husband and wife do a very respectable job with a very small kitchen. There is limited seating (I'm guessing around 20-30 guests at a time, but they are better served as a take out opportunity. 5 stars for flavor and prep 4 stars for meat to vegetable blend (very heavy on the veggies) 3 on seating, but this is a limitation of the size of the location 5 on menu flexibility 5 on menu options read more

Ordered the orange chicken individual dinner from Red Wok to go! (the only way to eat Chinese is at home) The girls were extremely nice while I was picking up the order. They didn't act bored or irritated what so ever in spite of all the empty tables. Whixh is really nice compared to most places in Tooele Co. Once I got home and opened up the bag of food, I was really surprised at the amount of food that it came with! The main dish was in your average sized to go box, which inside were heaping portions of orange chicken, ham fried rice and chow mein noodles! :) Red Wok also serves the soup of the day, 2x cheese puffs and an egg roll! All of that was included with the individual dinner, it was a ton of food which I couldn't even finish. I loved the portion sizes compared to places like Panda Express. And also liked the quailty of the food better than local places such as Sun Lok Yuen. read more

Really great service and huge amount of food. Reasonably priced and family owned. Did not disappoint!

Pretty good little restaurant. Food is good, orange chicken and rice lunch special is great! Prices are a little high but not enough to deter from visiting. It's usually pretty dead in here, the times I've come I usually only see one other person or group, even during lunch hour. My only complaint is the atomsphere. They face east so there isn't a lot of natural lighting, and the restaurant itself has really low lighting. It isn't dirty but I think it needs a bit more love. read more

Of the few times I have been here I haven't really been impressed. I really like Chinese, so I will probably keep going back since its right across the street from my house, and I will update my review if I think it is needed. Really I think 2.5 stars would be more appropriate. The biggest issue they have in my experience is that they WAY over-fry their chicken, so that you basically get a stringy jerky rather than a nice tender piece of chicken. I cant speak to the non-fried chicken or meat dishes as I haven't tried any of those yet, and if you're a Chinese food purist, you probably will discount my review anyway, as those are like the least Chinese things on the menu, but either way that is what I order and like. The fried rice and the chow mein noodles are both pretty good but the appetizers and soups weren't very good any of the times. They do make these smoothies which are actually really good. I REALLY like their peach smoothie, like I will go by there regularly just for that. Two of the times I went it was carry out, and the other was dine in. I had hoped the food would be a bit fresher on my dine in experience, but it was pretty much the same. The service is pretty good, and the people here are really nice. The prices are fair, especially for out here in Stansbury. read more

Had the chicken wings (awesome)...hot, fresh, used clean grease and nice and crispy, steamed dumplings (average), not much filling but they used a light dough, veggie delight (excellent)...used fresh and not frozen veggies, spicy house chicken (average)...breaded chicken pieces, super spicy, and fried rice house special (average)...looked different than normal, was lacking meat, instant rice.
