I've been in a couple times prior and it's always been busy. This was no exception, with several people chatting or working on their laptops. The Christmas decor is very warm and festive, and they offer many options of drinks and snacks - including a number of gluten-free selections. The Yelp coffee special is Christmas Cookie Latte - which I worried was going to be much sweeter than my liking, but I was pleasantly surprised! The latte is served at a perfect temperature to begin drinking. It tastes like a cookie, but it is not overwhelming and a very pleasant flavor that I would order again. The drinks are served in handle-less mugs that literally encourage you to cup it in your hands as you enjoy. The top was very nicely decorated, with a little froth and some red and green sprinkles that was a very nice start to my holiday coffee adventure. They're going to be tough to beat! read more

I liked the decor and the layout, including two enclosed meeting room spaces. There were a good number of not terribly comfy, sofa-like benches along with a few conversation areas set up. I tried a mocha and it hit the spot. All of the pastries seem to be gluten-free. I liked that they offered free ice water to customers. read more

I came here for the first time for a Yelp Elite event (12 Days of Coffee) and had a great experience!! Although the wifi had problems and I had to hop on my hotspot, the interior was BEAUTIFULLY decorated with Christmas lights and decor. It was spacious inside, and I was able to sit in a room that had lots of natural lighting and more cute winter decor. I received a Gingerbread Latte and substituted almond milk. Came here for the drink flight- unfortunately they were out of cookies before 11 am. Also, I was disappointed to learn that we were unable to pick our drinks for flight. Redefined Coffee house is a nice spot off of northwest hwy in Grapevine. A good stop option if you are looking for your coffee fix before you go into the Gaylord or GWL, in order to avoid at least one of you coffee fixes costing you a resort price. I didn't notice a drive thru option but they did seem to have a couple to go spots reserved near the door if I remember correctly. I lucked out with a regular spot by the door, though parking seemed to be pretty full the day that I went. The layout of this place is pretty awesome. They seem to have two rooms you can reserve, I assume you can reserve, to have meetings in. Plus there seems to be a lot of cozy sitting options. Though when I went there wasn't many open spots with out joining someone at a table or sitting on the other end of the couch from someone. Staff was very friendly, from multiple greeting when we walked in and how they treated guests at the counter. The food items all looked really good in the case. read more

Stopped by this place on my way to work. I ordered the Sugar Cookie latte. I'm no coffee expert, and I'm the coffee drinker who wants a cavity because the drink is so sugary-- that being said the coffee was OK. This wasn't sweet enough for me; but still a good sip! This place easily, has my favorite interior! It was super spacious, clean, and there were different study rooms you could go into if you needed to study with your group or have privacy. The coffee is good but they are way too busy and their time estimates are not great. We ended up waiting for 35mins for coffee (given an estimate of 20mins max when we placed our order). We also tried a cinnamon roll and was very disappointing. The decor was on point tho, so giving them that credit! This is my first coffee house in Texas so excuse my California Ruler which records a B- Counter Service was good enough but it was about 25 minutes for the coffees with no line. Cafe Lattes were fine although there was a bit of a unexpected sweetness. Maybe Texas cows eat sugar Who knows Food selection. I am a bakery fiend and they got nothing. Skipped the food. The staff are friendly and the furniture is mostly OK, but definitely only designed for adults-- a kid could get hurt, which I witnessed. The feel of the place is pleasant but mostly not private. The main problem is that they are using tap water to make their coffee and Grapevine's public water is quite toxic. The result is that the coffee always tastes bad to anyone who isn't accustomed to drinking Grapevine's water, which contains excessive arsenic, Bromochloroacetic acid, Bromodichloromethane, Haloacetic acids, and PFOA/PFOS. These chemicals cause cancer and birth defects. read more

Nice ambiance and seating. The main reason I decided to come here was because their website has a section specifically for pets showing a free pup cup treat. Therefore, I got the impression they were dog-friendly. When I walked up to order, the barista wasn't particularly pleasant. I went ahead and ordered for myself and my dog then sat on one of the couches. My dog, a registered ESA (and was wearing her ESA harness), was very well-behaved, sat right next to me, made no noises, etc. When I went to the counter to pick up my order (which turned out to be watery, not much taste, and overpriced), I had to remind them I ordered the pup cup. After my dog enjoyed that, I got up to throw the trash away. As we returned to the couch, my dog hopped up. At that point, the not-so-friendly barista said, "Ummm, keep your dog off the furniture." First, perhaps your website shouldn't give the impression that you are a dog-friendly establishment. Second, perhaps there should be visibly clear signs stating pets aren't allowed on the furniture. And most importantly, use a more appropriate tone of voice. There's a way to kindly ask without being rude. Side note: This was my mom's dog. My mom passed away from cancer almost 2 months ago. I take my dog with me everywhere as a source of comfort. People can judge, but she has brought me much joy. Off to find another coffee shop that is more welcoming of pets. read more

Why 5 stars? Because the nitro and coffee cake were perfection. --- --- --- We had just eaten a big lunch and stopped here for a pick-me-up and a little snack. The pick-me-up: I ordered a nitro and I loved it. I don't know what kind of beans they use, but they hit just right. Most nitro's I order are enjoyable, but this one was an extra step up on the rung. And the coffee cake was amazing too. The only negative is when it was over... I could have eaten a portion 5x larger. It was my first time visiting this coffee shop, and I went there to meet a friend for a late morning catch-up during the week. It's conveniently located not too far from the Gaylord Texan Resort. As I pulled in, I noticed plenty of cars parked outside, and as I anticipated, the place was buzzing with activity. It was crowded, but the modern and sleek interior decor caught my eye. They have a main area and a couple of smaller rooms on the side, separated by glass. I opted for an iced latte, which was pretty good. It's evident that many people use this place for work or meetups. We hung out for about an hour, and folks kept coming and going. It's a decent spot for meetups, though I do wish it were a bit less crowded. I can only imagine how busy it gets during the weekend coffee rush. read more

Redefined Coffee House appears to be a busy and popular coffee spot. I came here for a Yelp event and there was quite a line. I had the Christmas cookie latte that came in their standard size which came in a 12 oz cup along with a bagel dog. The Christmas cookie latte took closer to twenty minutes which was unexpected. The bagel dog warmed up didn't take long to bring out. The barista was friendly and inviting. They have plenty of areas to sit, including more secluded areas. The lattes are pricey for the quantity, however I enjoyed the subtle sweetness of the Christmas latte. The interior of the store is inviting and I like the beautiful mural on the side of the coffee shop. There are plenty of places to park as well. read more

One of the best coffee shop spaces I have ever seen. Not only is this place huge, it has every type of seating you'd want, from cozy seats to read in, conferences tables to have a meeting (private rooms too), and more. The music is also at the perfect volume, loud enough to be there when it's quiet, but can fade into the background if you're trying to have a conversation. I legit can't think of how to improve the interior space. But cool chairs don't a coffee shop make. I also really appreciate the options for beans (perhaps choice / options are the theme here). Check my photo, but I haven't seen a place give you up to four bean choices for different brew methods. I usually see maybe two for espresso but this is another level. The V60 was recommended to me by a fellow coffee friend. I'm pretty hesitant to order pour overs at shops now since they are hit or miss. Redefined is a hit for sure though! One of the better pour overs I've had- fragrant strawberry aroma, fruity sweetness with just a hit of brightness. Just like the taste notes on the bag for this Ethiopian. This was my first time to enter the establishment after several recommendations. Wanting to know the country of origin for the drip coffee, I was told Latin America: Ethiopia and Brazil. Hmm? I had a day between conferences, and I was looking for a cafe at which I could do my mobile office thing. I'd passed Redefined on a previous trip and thought this time I'd try it out. I'm glad I did. The cafe is spacious, with a variety of seating types, from enclosed rooms that can be booked out--or used by anyone if they're not booked--to couches, counters and everything in between. In short, it's eclectic in a good way. Service is friendly, and the places gives "community hub" vibes, which I liked. My ice mocha and subsequent tea were both pleasing, and I table-hopped until I found the right spot for me (it was quite crowded, especially earlier in the day). Outlets aren't everywhere, but there are certainly a good number of them--enough so that if you need one and you keep an eye out for people leaving, you can get yourself to one long before your battery runs out. At least four stars for the drinks, rounded up for the service and the vibe. Assuming I'm back in Grapevine for the same conference next year, I'll definitely be back at Redefined. read more

If you are in the area, this is a cute, LARGE coffee shop. I enjoyed the extremely friendly service and variety of seating areas. They even have private conference rooms! It's cozy and has a moderate noise level so you don't feel like you are screaming at whoever you came with. As for the food and drink, I ordered a chai latte and kolache. I came in to try out a new coffee house and get some work done. The ambiance is cheery and full of natural light. There is plenty of seating and some options with couches or desks. The shop plays music in the background and was fully decorated for Christmas. I chose the cookie latte and a gluten free pumpkin bread. The cookie latte was served in a mug without a handle even though it was hot. So I'm a clumsy person and was so careful to grab the mug securely which is tough with a hot drink. I suggest handles on the mugs please. My latte was topped with red and green sprinkles which added an artificial taste to the latte unfortunately. If you order the cookie latte ask them to hold the sprinkles. The gluten free pumpkin bread was a winner! It is served warm and topped with a cream cheese icing. It was moist and very flavorful. I inhaled it! Overall this is a coffee shop I would visit and get my drink and snack to go. The wifi was not strong and it was pretty crowded for a random Thursday afternoon. read more

We went on a rainy Thursday after work and it was very packed but also everyone was respectful with their voices. Took 10-15 mins for the affogato coffee $4.50~ to come out since after we ordered there was a large queue of orders coming out slowly. Coffee was strong and good bitter. But I was very disappointed with the ratio of coffee to ice cream. After taking two small bites of the ice cream, the rest melted away. on a rainy 70~ day in the car. This was worth the drive. Once you pull up they have the cutest design outside. As soon as you walk in all you see is a beautiful display of lights and design. There is more than enough seating area and different styles depending on what you need to do while staying. The menu is simple and staff does a great job explaining their specialities. I got the latte and it was delicious. I sat in the back of the shop to get a full view of the shop and it was delightful. The ambiance was beautiful and relaxing. Redefined Coffee. This place was another location that Google maps is confused on. Following the map, it said the store was in the middle of the street about 1/4 mile east of its actual location. Not the stores problem, they can't control that. Pulling up, this is a location that can control its parking layout. I was disappointed to find out the curbside pick up was more important that folks coming in, especially handicapped customers. They have chosen to place curbside pickup parking by the door, and handicap parking is around the corner. So those with disabilities have to struggle to walk to the door, but those that are paying in advance or have their coffees brought to them can pull right up to the door. This makes absolutely no sense to me. This is something I notice, being a disabled vet as my wife having a disability that limits walking long distances. I'll add that all 3 of the curbside parking spots were empty, and while we were there no curbside pickup was taken, tho 2 handicap individuals I saw walk around the building from the handicap parking to get to the entrance. This alone drop the rating. What drops the rating more, was the friendliness of the staff, or lack there of, and the lack of flavoring in the drink. For this visit, they offered one drink, for an event where they want to boost reviews, that's not the way to do it. They offered the Cookie Latte, which is actually the LAST drink on a menu that I would attempt to sample. We did half syrup and added almond milk rather than the normal milk which sends me straight to the mens room. It tasted ok, nothing of not, barely had a snickerdoodle taste and the coffee taste was non existent. All syrup and milky foam and no coffee, not a great model for a coffee shop. The staff there was non talkative at all. All business, like you find at the big chain stores that want to churn water down burnt coffee rather that establish relationship for a returning clientele. Their only redeeming factor, the christmas decorations were nice, it's in Grapevine which is Christmas meca for the DFW area, and they have 2 conference rooms. Not a place I'd personally recommend, I definitely won't be back. Starbucks has more friendly appeal than this place did, on this experience anyway. read more
