We brought our 13 year old 2013 Tiffin Allegro Bus 43QGP to Redlands RV for service, and again, we couldn't be happier! We got the fire suppression system (Proteng) installed, had the Aqua Hot serviced, got an adjustment to the front driver slide, and had the cooling system serviced. Several years ago I was in Quartzsite, AZ, in my new to me diesel pusher motorhome. It was during the big tent time in January. I had a front tire with a bad cut in the sidewall so I went to the Redlands Truck service booth in the tent to see about new tires (245/75-22.5). There were no Michelins in stock so I got a pair of Hankook tires. Redlands Truck mounted, balanced and installed on the front axle. The tires were good for the first 10k miles or so. I then started feeling a vibration like a tire out of balance. My wife didn't feel any vibration in the curb side seat. It was getting worse on my side so I finally stopped at a truck service center. They pulled both front tires to inspect them. The drivers side tire was found to have 14.5 ozs of weight on the rim. Redlands Truck didn't have any balance equipment in Quartzsite and they were putting balance beads in the tires. I find it hard to understand why they didn't remove the weights that were on the rim. By now the tire was out of round and needed to be replaced. I ended up replacing both front tires $$$ because they didn't do a proper job in Quartzsite. I will not be going back to Redlands Truck and RV. read more

I took my 2005 Pace Arrow to them for a new serpentine belt and AC pump on the engine. Totally unhappy with the results. Dash AC did not blow cold air. Service Writer told me it would get better?? I spent $70 for a freon charge kit and found the system empty. Took the entire can to charge and now it works good. Also the charge port cap was missing and had to buy another. I have used these guys for years and I hope this was the exception rather than the rule as previous work has allways bee top notch. read more

We scheduled annual maintenance service with them because of good reviews we saw and ended up having a horrendous experience. We would never return here and would encourage others to never use them. They broke our hood latch and tore the cover on our tow bar and scratched the tow bar itself--we witnessed them driving someone else's rv to the shop and it scraping because they drove it too fast over the culvert entering the street--so OBVIOUSLY they are not treating these rigs with care! On top of that the service manager Mike was completely unpleasant to deal with, didn't provide updates, and the cherry on top was he tried to lie and overcharge us for service they didn't actually perform on the rv. They put on the work order and charged us for a comprehensive brake service with wheels off --which they instead tried to pas off by having someone crawl under the rv and take a few pictures of what they are able to see with the wheels on the rv (not checking the brake lines or whole brake system at all). Only when we studied the pictures and then confronted him with our confusion on what was obviously not the wheels off comprehensive brake inspection we were offered and charged for--and that we WANTED to get for safety reasons-- did he awkwardly admit it was not done, removed the extra charge for it and vaguely mumble something about the tech as if placing the blame there. When we stated our unhappiness with this finding and confronted him with the fact that this makes us lose all trust in them and their ethics and that this appears to us now like they PURPOSEFULLY charged us for the comprehensive brake inspection and then did a lesser check and hoped to pass that off and that we wouldn't notice, overcharging us and causing a safety issue for us, we asked for an explanation that would help us understand how this was not intentional. Mike had literally nothing to say and no explanation was given. It was already pretty clear that they did this knowingly and unethically but his response was very telling as well. Because of how horrendously all this was handled and the deception, how do we even know that the other maintenance we paid for-- ACs being serviced for instance-- was actually done? We provided feedback after our negative experience when a woman claiming to be an employee there called us asking for it. We never heard from either owner regarding that. With how reprehensible this was and the severity of the issues we experienced, that is very disappointing especially from someone who claims a caring family run business. Giving the owners the benefit of the doubt that they aren't aware--they should know that Mike, who you claim to be an asset, is most definitely not and that these are the kind of things that are occurring in your business. And most importantly this is a warning to other rv owners who may consider using their service. If you care for your rv and the significant investment that it is, do not entrust it to Redlands RV. read more

I wanted this to be a 5 star experience, but it definitely was not. Prior to posting this review, I gave the owner an opportunity to respond, which he ignored. I know they don't want to be known as the cheapest, their words in response to other reviews here, and they certainly are in no danger of that. However, if you are going to charge those prices, it should be worth it. For context, my entire bill came in at around $34,000, so not chump change. While I think the annual service they performed was ok, much of the other work was not and had to be re-done the day that we were supposed to leave, like adjusting the height of a slide, fixing a window that wouldn't open, replacing headlights, repairing the heat shield over the engine. They "fixed" a window that had no issues at all instead of the broken one. The slide height was not adjusted. The headlights were not actually in stock, but they removed the old ones and hoped that the new ones would arrive overnight. I found the heat shield just hanging down in the engine compartment after they supposedly repaired it. They did do something, but en route home, 200 miles away, the whole thing came down.The rig was absolutely filthy on the outside , and they had also tracked grease and dirt onto my carpets and tile inside and not cleaned it. 2 slide toppers were replaced but they couldn't tell me which ones for certain. They tried, but I know for certain that one of them should have been front PS slide topper as I had repaired that one myself a couple of years back with some awning tape, but they said it was 2 on the DS. Those would have been different sizes and I was billed for 2 large ones. The owner had sent me an estimate for some bodywork that involved repair of a fiberglass ding on DS slide that was smaller than my thumbnail, a set of 2 tree limb scratches on the back cap that were about 4-6 inches long and narrow at about 1-2 mm, and a scrape near the bottom of a couple of basement doors that required paint but not remodeling of the doors, and no dent repair or door replacement. Instead of coming in at close to $5000 that the owner had estimated, it was almost 3x that. When I would call to check on progress, I was told on several occasions that the body work was completely done, only to find it wasn't done at all, and once they started they acted like only 1 thing was to be done instead of the 3, and jacked the price up each time as they progressed through the 3 things. When I checked in at the drop off and asked if someone was going to go over the coach and look especially at the bodywork, I was told that the guy in their body shop would go over everything, take photos, etc and give me a revised estimate if needed. This did not happen. In follow up phone calls, they actually acted like they didn't even know that bodywork was to be done, much less what my issues were. I found a lot of the issues resulted from poor communication between the service manager and the techs, and lack of oversight and supervision. The bodywork thing, though, just seems very dishonest. I am more than willing to pay what's fair, but what happened with the bodywork was not fair or right. They didn't even do that great of a job on that rear cap for the scratches as there are now 2 different colors of gold paint around the Allegro Bus raised letters, as though they painted around the letters instead of removing them and doing a proper job. I drove 7.5 hors to them based on some on line reviews and their reputation, but i would not recommend them at all. The fact that the owner never got back to me after I emailed him about all of this speaks volumes. They're friendly and nice, deceptively so, but I had a very unsatisfactory experience when it got down to the actual work. read more

I could not recommend this business less. As someone who's been in the trailer/rv world for my entire adult life, I was shocked at the behavior by both the front desk jerk, and the manager. After 6 weeks we finally got our generator put back in our motorhome. Were told "we are waiting on parts shipment" but never had a tracking number (ya right) then were told the mechanic working on it went home sick... 3 different occasions? Seems odd. When I called after the new year to follow up I was told "oh ya it's ready, it was ready Monday" I asked if anyone was going to call and let me know? As it was Wednesday at 4pm and I'm having to call you? Front desk guy was again, a complete asshole. For the cost of hourly work being done here you'd think communication would be at the forefront alongside customer service. These guys are complete douche bags and don't care. read more

After trying to get anyone to work on my Tiffin, they are on it! Excellent service, they have chassis parts, and will do anything your rig needs! Dave and crew have Tiffin knowledge and will fix it promptly. Free camping for customers is such a nice touch! The Grove Rv is nearby and very new, clean, with full hookups, including free WiFi. This is a factory authorized Tiffin repair facility, but they work on most rigs(call first). Body work, carpet replacement. Why go anywhere else? read more

What a pleasant experience. Total professionals, from service managers to technicans. Kieth owns and runs the best RV service company I have ever delt with. They have the knowledge and experience to deal with the most difficult and complex problems. They rebuilt one of my slides, replaced my water pump, installed new AGM batteries and installed a new power converter. They delt with the warranty company with getting the approval without incident. It is refreshing to find a company you have this kind of confidence in. They have ten hookup sights to accomadate travelers and full timers inside a secure facility. I appreciate you quoting me 3500 dollars for a 1700 dollar brake job. Being a 30 year mechanic it was nicer than telling me you didn't want my business. You don't automatically need new calipers, rotors, seals and everything else without a competent inspection. I can't say enough good about them, I'm a car enthusiast and have had the experience of many service shops, but I've never experienced one quite like this. For my case at least, I was traveling across the US in a Safari Trek RV, they not only were able to accept my appointment during a very small window of time I had available as I entered CA on I-40, but they also address everything I needed done within the 48 ideal window of time I had to spend there. They did custom welding work on the front, steering box work, front stabilizer bar work and more. They were all incredible, it's the only place I want to go now. read more

Our residential Refrig/Freezer quit on us as we drove into Yuma to get some warm days and non-freezing nights. Nobody in Yuma wants to work on a residential fridge - lots of promises and, "I can be there next week" and then to hear, "Oh, I don't work on those". I called Redlands Truck and RV, and they said "when you get here, we will work you in". He did. They found a leak in a fitting that will be fixed and freon delivered the next day. I wish I can give this business negative stars because they deserve negative stars. I took in my motorhome because my roof was coming unglued from the side. I talked to Martin. He told me that he was going to fix it that it was gonna be bullet proof that will never be worried about it again. A month later, it was falling apart, had to take time & busy schedule to take in my motorhome, they fixed it. Also, that same visit I told him to do a service my generator. Why not; right? its there. did they do it no! And I was about to go on a trip. So frustrating. A few months passed, my AC stopped working. I have a Winnebago with a basement AC. He told me to take it in, took a few days for the diagnostic. What I thought it was a diagnostic. He told me it was the motherboard of the AC I needed my AC fix because I had a river trip planned in a few weeks. So I was driving to the River and the AC was fresh not cold. Got to the River and it was 120° life was miserable. my AC was not working. So I called Martin. He told me to take it in. It took them couple days for the diagnostic on my AC he told me it was the AC compressor. He gave me a quote of 3K. I was confused because he told me that it was the motherboard, the first time I took it in for the AC problem. I told him no. I did some research and came across a post on a Winnebago form. The post had a man that was Mobile and would fix basement, i called him and told him about my AC problem. I told him that they replace the motherboard and that the AC still didn't work, and he said that he will take a look at it. Made an appointment for him to see my AC. He checked everything out when everything was fixed he told me, the compressor was fine it was the that freon that had leaked from two copper pipes rubbing together. Turn on my AC and it was blowing cold again. So my final thought is that they never did a correct diagnostic on my AC so yeah I would never take my motorhome to Redlands truck and Rv read more

Took my Rv in for a list of items to correct it took months and when I came to pick it up besides an Dropped off my Rv with a list of items to repair, after leaving I notice two more major items were not finished including a new a/c compressor, I called them they said they would take care of it so I had to reschedule with them and when got there this time to pick up they still had not fixed the door that I paid for and they blessed me with oily footprints all over the carpet from fixing the a/c.. again the worst thing is they said they would refund for the paid for and unrepaired door and would cover a carpet cleaning, Martin told me the credit card machine to refund wasn't working they would send a check been over 5 weeks and several phone calls still no refund! I had them do some work on my suspension at a local RV rally. It made a huge difference especially when the truck passes by me or I hit a bump now the rocking motion is extremely minimal. They were quick, efficient and gave spot on quotes. I just brought it back in because a hood latch broke on my Winnebago. They fixed it quickly and for a great price. Winnebago offered to fix it, and they have great customer service but I didn't wanna wait and I trust these people here. I drove two hours to get here and I will be bringing it back for all my specialty installs. More than anything else you can trust them to do a good job and tell the truth. Almost forgot, I paid and was getting ready to leave when one of the staff got a ladder and cleaned my front and side windows. What a nice bonus. I took my 39-foot RV to have several things repaired: 1. Replace the carpeting - I purchased the carpeting and had it delivered. 2. Replace the two couches. I purchased the two recliners and hide-a-bed couch and had them delivered. 3. Fix the cable connection between the cable hook-up and the TV. 4. Fix the levelers. 5. Install a new backup camera system with side lane cameras. 6. Install the new ham radio. 7. Repair the body damage that I created when turning into a fire hydrant. After taking the RV in, Martin told me I needed new tires and needed new headlights. The tires were about 10 years old. The headlight's plastic lenses yellowed. I approved the tires and headlight replacements. 6 and 1/2 months later, Martin told me the coach was ready. "The levelers fixed." "The TV fixed." "The cameras installed." "The headlights installed." "The carpeting and furniture installed." Martin said, "I threw in recliners myself." The bodywork was excellent!! The new paint job was excellent.!! The backup camera system with lane change cameras worked great!! A. The new headlights only work when the engine was running. The headlamp switch, on the dashboard, is completely bypassed. I can no longer turn on the headlamps, or the highway lamps, from the dashboard. I can't even turn on the running and clearance lights for the coach. Want worked when the coach was taken in, now do not work. The new headlamps are wonderful but no longer work as before. B. The levelers still need to be fixed. The front levelers don't consistently extend and don't fully retract. Not fixed C. The campground cable connection still does not work! Not fixed. D. The newly installed ham radio does not have power. It does not turn on. E. The recliners were not secured. While traveling, the recliners would tip over. I ordered recliners that are too big for the coach. It would have been nice to be notified so I could have the recliners returned and purchased recliners that would fit. F. The seat belts were not reattached after the carpet was installed. The insurance covered the body repair and paint. I paid for the rest of the upgrades. My portion of the bill totaled $20,000+. I paid for the levelers that were not supposed to be fixed. I paid for the campground cable connection to be fixed and it was not. I paid for headlamps that can no longer be controlled from the headlamp switch. While on our trip, I paid for the recliners to be secured. The quality control is severely lacking. The electrical aspects lack focused attention to detail (as it pertains to the headlamps). I was overcharged and misled about the readiness of my coach, after six and a half months in the shop. I don't know if the mechanics are incompetent or if the supervisors don't check the quality of the work. They will want me to bring in the coach, and then charge me again for the repairs that I already paid for. It is difficult to talk with Martin. In my opinion, he doesn't listen. There is no didactic conversation allowing for arriving at a mutually agreed decision that is best for the coach. He doesn't return phone calls. I don't think it is intentional. I believe he is too busy to provide the necessary customer service. read more

Last December (2022) we had extensive work done on our motorhome, including our dash A/C... it required a new compressor... We were unable to use our motorhome thereafter UNTIL finally preparing for a trip mid September... And to our disappointment, the dash A/C was blowing NO cold air! Martin, Dave, Mike & the Redlands Truck & RV Crew saved our bacon! We were headed out there to get tires put on, when (unbeknownst to us!) our serpentine belt snapped on the way there - and we were driving from Redondo Beach! When we got there, not only did they keep our appointment for the tires but they squeezed us in to fix the belt situation - then, when they opened up our engine, they realized one of the pulleys for the belt was also broken/frozen. They let us leave our RV in their awesome RV lot across the way because we were coming from so far and we had to get back to Redondo. They helped us out and did a great job - fixed what needed fixing. Then, right after we left, it seemed that our engine was running hot (well, that's what the gauge told us!) so they literally had us come back because we had only gone to get gas about 4 miles away - they determined she was NOT running hot, but was having some sort of "ground issue" so they ran another ground for us and sent us on our way. We are extremely happy with their service and attention to detail. We will be back - it's nice to know there is a trustworthy shop out there, who cares and is knowledgeable to rely on for Class A Diesel Pusher RV Owners! read more

We want to thank Jeff at Redlands Truck and RV. He is completely professional and had our coach repaired promptly and done correctly! We don't take this for granted. The difficult problems we had were repaired by Redlands in a month! This was after it had sat at a different RV repair shop comically named "Always on Time RV Repair" sat 3 weeks short of an entire year! In addition, Jeff handled our insurance without any problems. I've used these guys to make repairs on our RV a couple of times and couldn't be happier. The first was a problem with one of the slides and they did an awesome job, works perfectly. Great service. Had a check engine light. It was a NOX sensor error code. They got me in and fixed the problem in a timely manor. I had them also do a service on my class A Newell coach. I feel they did a great job in checking everything. Everyone was extremely friendly and had great customer skills. Coach was finished around 4:00 and I did not want to drive in Calif rush hour traffic so they let me stay another night in their private campground. The next morning as I was leaving the lights on my tow vehicle were not working (my error for not checking). They noticed this and called me. They really care. I just had my Mercedes Sprinter/Winnebago Era transformed here at Redlands Truck and RV . The stock suspension that came with my coach was unbearable for my kids to ride in , it made them car sick and nauseous rendering my new 100K RV worthless for a family vehicle ,it felt like riding in back of 5 Ton Marine cargo truck.
