I only had to go 3,000 miles to find a Marriott in the US that actually has a functioning M club. On top of the minor miracle of simply being open, the M club at this Marriott is also quite nice. The staff working it are always exceptionally friendly to everyone. This Marriott is nice, the rooms are large and pretty modern feeling. The lobby area and bar/restaurant are open and airy feeling without being extremely loud most of the time. The staff all-around are super friendly. From the front-desk to the bartender. They have happily helped us with any issues we've run into. I've been very pleased with my stay. read more

Where to begin with this review. Well for starters, I've noticed quite a few reviews for the Seattle Marriott Redmond (to clarify this is the location inside of the Redmond Town Center, the naming can make it confusing), pointing out their poor service and disappointment around the room's and their cleanliness. To that I say, there's always going to be a one off, or an off day. I have been coming to this Marriott for the past decade plus, both for personal and business, and have also consistently chosen this location for all needed business room blocks, due to 1) the convenience of where it is located, you can't beat the access you have to everything you need, all right outside of the front doors 2) the staff and their genuine hospitality. For this trip I was here for business, and it has been about 5 years since I've last stayed. Now in those 5 years, a few things have changed, the biggest changes are as follows: All parking is valet now, $35 per day. Currently (as of May 2024) they do not have room service however they are in the process of bringing it back. Bottled water within rooms are a $2 charge each (there is a tag that clearly notes that on each bottle so everyone that is acting shocked that they were charged for the water... not sure where the miss is there lol) The members lounge has been upgraded and moved to the main floor. Also, Marriott Bonvoy has changed a bit so, in the past you needed gold tier elite status for lounges, now it is platinum tier. Now understandably some of these changes are not favored by some guests but, with the economy overall hospitality market the way it is, I don't think they're so drastic that it should make or break anyone's experience. Moving onto the rooms and their cleanliness. I stayed for a total of 4 nights and 5 days and had no issue with cleanliness. As a matter of fact, the staff was extremely attentive and accommodating when it came to my requests such as extra towels, pillow spray (lavender spray to help you sleep), and even extra coffee to be put in the room. Overall I had another consistently enjoyable stay, got to see some familiar faces within their staff (another nod to them as it's rare to see employee retention for that long in hospitality now a days) and will be back for my next trip without question! If you're coming to Redmond for business (or personal), take it from someone who has been coming to this Marriott for business trips for 10+ years, the convenience of the location, the staff, the service, it's hands down an obvious choice. read more

This hotel seems to be stuck in the 90s and the early 2000s with the dated decor and rooms. Having said that I guess they don't feel like they have to upgrade since they get a ton of Microsoft traffic and the hotel is generally packed. Also I'm giving them one extra star for good service as they allowed me into the M club at 5 AM in the morning to get me a cup of coffee since the coffee maker in my room was broken and the nearby Starbucks didn't open for another hour. They also gave me a complementary toothbrush since I forgot to bring mine. read more

Can hear people's doors slamming all down the hall with the door closed. Heard conversations as clear as day from the rooms next to me. Toilet is low to the ground so if you're over 5'5" be prepared to stoop. Nice lighting in the room. Bit of a learning curve finding all the switches to get the lights on. Giant parking garage that they don't allow you to use. $35/night valet parking only. Food in their one restaurant was OK. Had breakfast there two days. Pricey and not hearty. read more

I had a pretty pleasant stay at this Marriott location. Housekeeping and cleanliness were on-point. My two main gripes : 1) My heavy bathroom door almost slid onto my head clobbering me! I had to struggle for 2 minutes trying to place it in an angle that wouldn't hurt me and then called the hotel maintenance to come and fix it back on the roller -- dangerous! 2) The guest folio was confusing to say the least! I was traveling on business and scratching my head in terms of how much I really ended up paying (there was some prepaid element to it and then an extra payment -- but no place that showed your total payment -- how archaic is that!) I got a room here as there was a promo which made the $34/day parking a bit more palatable. $34/day valet parking (only option) is pretty outrageous for a non downtown core area. We are talking Redmond, not downtown Seattle. As it is part of the Redmond Town Center complex, there is no overnight street parking in the immediate area. The service is good with friendly staff. My room was pretty nice with blackout curtains. Somehow the fitted bedsheet kept popping up, so that was annoying. Another thing which caught me by surprise was the $2 charge for the bottled water. No complimentary bottled water here. Bring your own bottle before checking in. There are no convenience or grocery stores in the complex. I do like the toiletries provided as thiswork brand is nice. The pillow spray for a good night sleep is a nice touch. There is a 24 hour gym and an outdoor pool. As it is part of the mall complex, you can walk out to catch a movie or have a drink or meal at the many restaurants and cafes. There are some shops too if shopping is your jam. read more

Had a wedding to go to up in Woodinville and my usual hotel in Lynnwood was way too expensive for how much I would ever be willing to pay for it. Looked through all the different Marriotts in the area and the Marriott in Redmond was the only one that had a fairly cheap rate. Never stayed in Redmond before, so I was down to try something new. Booked a standard king bed room, but we weren't able to get an upgrade as there are only three suites in the entire hotel and we were told they were being occupied by long-term stays. In any case, the standard room was nice. I'm used to Courtyards, so staying in a regular Marriott was a definitely a little step above. Room was smaller than a Courtyard, but it was very comfortable and clean. Had a huge TV and a nice chair to watch it from. Also had a place for a built-in desk for me to work in. Lastly, I was a fan of the walk-in shower. Staff here were really friendly. Check-in was quick as I had already checked in on the app. They also handled my requests for extra towels and soap super quickly. There was a bit of a small pool outside, but I didn't bother using it. Location is fantastic as it's literally right next to Redmond Town Center and a lot of other places, such as Molly Moon's and QFC. It was great to have scooters around to be able to go around as well. Overall, I was really impressed by my stay here. Definitely would not mind staying here again! read more

Update: finished my stay. Housekeeping never once came. Never took the trash out. Never refreshed water bottles. All things they said they would do. Management response is a copy paste from previous posts. Clearly no effort is being taken to actually deal with housekeeping or other issues. Especially since I was still there and nothing changed. No offers to compensate or attempt to make things right. Obviously management doesn't care about maintaining business relationships and I will be avoiding as well as suggesting to coworkers to avoid this hotel as well. read more

This Marriott is in a decent location in Redmond Town Square. This location has an M Lounge where you can pick up snacks and drinks throughout the day. The bar stays open until 11:00 or so. The bar staff is quite nice and very attentive. They only have valet parking (or at least that's what they say) for $34 / day. I found the valet to usually be pretty responsive even at peak times. You can request your car via text which is nice. Once or twice I came back to the hotel and it took a few minutes for the valet to show up, but overall pretty good. read more

Good location right in Redmond Town Center. Lots of places to walk to and a safe area. $125 a night plus parking which is around $18 a night. They have self parking now. It is located around the back and on the 2nd level. There is a small guest entrance you go through to get to the elevator. Use your key to open the parking garage bar and also the guest door. No maid service during covid. They give a few extra sets of towels in the rooms. You can call for more towels to be delivered if needed. I liked their shampoo. Two complimentary bottles of water in the room. Also can call for more complimentary bottles to be delivered since no maid service each day. read more

While my only experience here was in the meeting rooms, it was quite a nice one! I came over for a daylong meeting on a random Saturday, and was very impressed with what I found. They have an entire section of the hotel, chicly coined "M space" we're such events can be held. There's a small dining area, with the kitchen that includes an espresso machine, some space for catered food, and a large refrigerator with all of the caffeinated goodies that you come to expect from a meeting! The food was quite good, pretty in line with what you expect from catered food at a smaller gathering. Rooms were ample with good breakout space and the AV all worked as expected. Bathrooms were out in the hotel and not far, though some in the area would seem appropriate- first world problems! It's located on Redmond Town Center so there's tons to do in the area and it's a quickish jaunt to Bellevue or Seattle. Nice place and one I'm sure we'll be back to! read more

We were visiting the Redmond Towne Center and decided to have a couple drinks and dinner at the Marriott Hotel. We were greeted by the front desk employees who directed us to the restaurant/lounge area. The bartender who was also the waitress (Jamie) was very polite and took our order and chatted with us for a few minutes. The drinks she made were very good and she took good care of us. The Pros: The hotel lobby is beautiful and the Redmond Town Center is a great location. They also have complimentary coffee in the lobby early in the morning. The Cons: They lack in the hygiene department and doing the right thing for their customers/guests. I stayed here 2 nights first week of August 2021. I have not traveled since Covid for obvious reasons however decided to treat ourselves. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. WiFi is free for Members. Check in was the easy part. After driving for 7 hours to get to this hotel we get to our room. Nice Room with a balcony from my first impression. I began to Lysol and wipe down areas as a precaution. I started with the console below the tv. It had cup stains from maybe coffee? Ok no big deal I thought I will wipe it down not knowing this was just the beginning. I opened up the sliding door that leads to the balcony. I immediately saw a dirty glass someone left behind including cigarette butts on the ground. I continued to the closet and noticed dust and I wiped it down and pubic hair was also on the wipe. Last straw is I go the the restroom and the toilet was clean but the shower floor was disgusting! All kinds of hair and grime! I went to the lobby and asked to see another room and explained the situation. They apologized and gave me a new room. I went in and the same thing, dust, hair in the shower, jam drippings on the console under the tv. I went back again, this time the employee came up with me. Another dirty room, this one had dirty towels hanging in the closet and the shampoo bottles tipped over in the shower & also food stains on the console and dust on the floor. He said it was unacceptable that because of Covid they are short staffed with their housekeeping and that they don't have anyone after 5pm. By this time I had spent 2 hours cleaning and trying to get a clean room after driving 7 hours to relax on our vacation! I was told the hotel could not do anything for me because I had paid Expedia and not them directly. At this point the Hotel should've stepped up and done the legwork of finding a clean room. They only showed me rooms on the second floor for some reason and I don't know if it had to do with maybe rooms reserved with Expedia. Either way they were going to get paid through Expedia. THEY SHOULD'VE DONE THE RIGHT THING! ALL I WAS ASKING FOR WAS A CLEAN ROOM WHICH I PAID FOR WHICH COMES STANDARD WITH EVERY ROOM. They said all they could do was give me a breakfast voucher for my family. Which by the way was appreciated but they wrote on the card that I could only come between 6:30 am to 7:30 am to eat. Seriously after what we had been through. We ended up staying because I had already cleaned and disinfected and because we had booked a non refundable stay. This is the first and last time I book a non refundable room with Expedia. It just means if you change your dates or something happens that you cannot show up you can't get your money back. Just because it's not refundable does not mean it's acceptable to have your customers stay in a dirty room. The problem here is that the hotel lacks in the cleanliness department and as a guest I should not have to do their employees job! I understand the short staffed situation, that being said they shouldn't be open for business if they can't provide the basics. Oh I almost forgot, the following morning we had a trail of ants that came in through the bottom of the balcony screen door! I have tried to get my money back from Expedia and the hotel, they each blame each other. The latest is that I am being penalized by the hotel according to Expedia so they will not return my money. Penalized for what? For cleaning their dirty rooms? And the other story is that I made a deal to accept a breakfast voucher from them the hotel. Seriously what deal? They said they couldn't give me a refund because I paid Expedia so they offered breakfast as an apology for the inconvenience. Unbelievable!!!!! This has been the worst experience with Marriott and Expedia.. I received a generic letter from their general manager Emma Bulalacao-Brooks regarding my stay and that the cleanliness of their hotel is a top priority. They were just words. Upon further investigation it's practically the same letter she sent other dissatisfied customers who had shared their similar experience as I. It's apparent they didn't do anything to fix this situation. Had I known, I would not have chosen to stay here. I absolutely loved staying here. Room: I had a room with one king bed. The room was very spacious. The bathroom super clean and enough space for everything. I like it when hotel rooms don thave super cramped up wardrobes. Service: The people at this location are super sweet and helpful. I got my ordered breakfast in my room at the time I had mentioned, no delays there. The only thing which went wrong was that they forgot my wakeup call somehow but it's fine. I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The valet service is great and punctual. Area: This hotel is in the heart of a mall area so a lot of stuff to do around. I was staying here for a conference down the road. The hotel was coordinated by the conference. Check in was a hassle since I showed up after midnight the day I was supposed to check in. I had called the previous afternoon and notified them that would be the case. The room was fine, but the doors could use some sound-proofing. The room was right by the elevator and I could hear doors slamming and the elevator dinging if I didn't have the TV on for white noise. The view of the parking garage across the street wasn't great. Check out was fine. There was originally only one person at the counter dealing with a customer for a long time. Eventually someone else appeared to deal with me. I stood there for a while. Parking is an issue. It's either $25 a night plus tax for valet, or find street parking over a block away if there's any available. The aforementioned parking lot across the street has signs that say they will tow you. I think this is the first hotel I've stayed in that didn't have a self-park option. There's also signs on the streets adjacent to the hotel that say "No Overnight Parking". Customer service is highly variable based upon who you get. So YMMV. When I called the hotel the people I spoke to were polite, but severely brusque. The gentleman that checked me out was very nice, though it was the shortest interaction I had with anyone there. Honestly, I expected a bit more from a Marriott property. read more

I am a Marriott Ambassador Elite. I've stayed at many Marriott hotels for over 20 years. My wife and I decided to eat at this Marriott hotel's restaurant last night and the food was absolutely disgusting. The Fish and Chips was, burnt, and doused in thick oil as well as the French Fries. My wife's cheese toasted sandwiches and soup was awful as well. I asked for the Apple pie dessert to be warmed-up and it came out to me cold and the ice cream had freeze burns on it! The waitress seemed to be more interested in chatting with the guys at the bar drinking beer vs serving us in the restaurant. Never again! Our bill was about $90.00 and not worth it at all. There's a restaurant with a decent menu or there are several places to eat within walking distance. Do not stay here. Stayed here for a wedding, booked 20+ rooms, bridal party still did not get their room comped. Terrible service everywhere, they would not discount our valet, room was never cleaned and when we called about it were told housekeeping was gone for the day (?). Had a 6 day stay here for work back in July 2021 and despite some covid-related restrictions, it was a perfect stay. As someone who travels with a service dog, I am used to all kinds of fiascos occurring but the staff who checked us in was very courteous and got us help for our baggage right away and set up help for bringing down our belongings for our check out time from the start so we wouldn't have to worry about it. The acccesible room we requested was very clean and equipped with all the toiletries necessary. Our requests for extra towels and such were promptly fulfilled. Halfway through our stay we asked for our room to be freshened up and for more toiletries and towels and the staff was happy to fulfill our request. The only down side was that our room was next to what seemed to be like a few junior soccer leagues so it got noisy at times but that's something that no one could have predicted. Anyways 10/10 stay and will definitely keep this hotel in our list for future travels. read more

The rooms are nice and spacious. The hardwood floors make it feel sleek and clean. It's very quiet so we were all able to sleep really well. The beds are super comfy as well. The showers feel new and the toiletries are nicer than other hotels we've stayed at. The staff was friendly and professional. Got a chance to stay at this hotel for about 3 nights. The location of this hotel is a big plus as it stands right on the Redmond town center. The rates of the room were expensive. The room was just OK not so great. The restaurant at level 1 is awesome especially their American breakfast buffet. It comes with a charge though and was about 50$ for a couple. The bad part is the parking as they had charges for parking which I found it different. There's a lot to like and a lot to dislike about this hotel. The Good The good about it is location. There's a ton of restaurants within walking distance so food is really easy to get. There's also a ton of options (from sushi to pizza) so you can get your taste buds fulfilled really easy! The gym isn't too bad and much better than ones in some other hotels I've stayed (dumbbell rack, powerline machine, treadmills). The room I stayed in and all of the facilities were clean and well kept. Parking was also pretty easy and I recommend just parking your own car instead of valet since its really close by (within walking distance) and cheaper than valet. The Bad Man breakfast was super expensive ($25) for the buffet! It didn't even have anything amazing or extra for that price tag. There was also a ton of fruit flies buzzing around when I was eating. A lot of the good items were things you could get at a grocery store for less than $10 (like chobani, cereal, fruits). The ordered menu was much better for breakfast and its made to order instead of bacon that's been sitting under a heat lamp. The bathroom was also designed super weirdly. What bathroom doesn't have a toilet paper rack and toilet paper? Makes no sense to me. The rooms were also very expensive for what you are getting. read more

We did have a tricky time as there is a Town Center and also Residence Inn which are both Marriott locations right next to each other so be sure as to which one you are staying at! We wasted a bit of time parking and waiting to learn we were in the wrong spot...ahhh tourists. The only complain I really have was the seeming lack of staff. When we checked in we were left to our own devices to haul our luggage. A bellhop helped us quickly load the luggage onto a cart but then vanished. When we tried to get service to the room to checkout we waited ten minutes and heard nothing so we just did it ourselves. Besides that though the room was very clean and well sized to fit our needs. The late night staff not only brought us towels, creamer and a smile...but CHOCOLATE! He was super sweet and did not have to do that. Actually everyone there was always great! The valet was perfect and they brought our car fast each time. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat - and what a great location!! I felt like we were in the middle of everything so we mostly just walked to everything instead of driving since there are some pretty great shops and restaurants very close by. read more

We attended Wishes Gala for Pediatric Stroke Warriors. Upon arrival you will notice lots of signage as renovations are under way. It is not noisy but a little confusing as to where to check in. Our room was ready at check in time of 3:00 PM however another room for our group was not ready until 5:00 PM (when the event was set to start). This created a set back as now we had three women and one man getting ready in one room and we did end up being late. Our room was a decent size, clean and a cute balcony with a table and chairs. View was of a parking garage, but it was a nice idea. Something that was not mentioned with booking or checking in is that unless you find street parking you have to valet your car for $25/night. The hotel has no arrangements with the parking garage across the street. Although we did not use the pool, as we walked past it I did notice a few chairs along the outside and a lift for people to enter if in a wheelchair. Small area but it would do. Overall it was a nice stay but unless I'm attending an event I'm not sure I would stay again for a date night, stay vacation etc. For people coming out of the area it is located in a great spot for shopping at the Redmond Town Center. read more

I volunteered at a multi-day conference over the weekend. Staff attitudes were varied, as one would expect, but none offensive: - Valets were friendly and even funny. - Bar Staff, perfunctory; not liberal with their pouring, but not overly engaging with their clients. I'm sure I could find smiling bar staff elsewhere for those prices. - Event Staff were very helpful, always. - Fare was good, but not outstanding. The Brisket was seared, tender and the sauce tasty; the asparagus and mashed potato combo also quite flavorful. However, four forkfuls of mixed greens with a sprinkling of dried fruit and almonds, hardly constitutes a salad, especially when paying $60 per plate. Perhaps, the Chef was just having an 'off' night. The individual cheesecake portions were excellent! I've experienced better accommodations and fare at lower prices, but the proximity to a variety of stores, Marymoor Park trails, and the weekend Farmer's Market makes it quite convenient for out-of-town guests, if Redmond is the place chosen for business meetings. read more

My friend made a reservation to have 2 adjacent rooms for the night. The hotel was aware of a multiple guests staying since our friend was having his wedding at a local winery. When we arrived at 5pm, they informed us that only ONE room was ready. Whatever, we had a reception to attend and we did not want this to kill our night of fun. However, we arrived at 1130pm and the room was NOT ready. As my fellow yelper Mohammed N stated, the room was in disarray: empty beer bottles, mike's hard lemonade, dirty sheets, etc. What happened in 4.5 hours that the staff was unable to clean it up? So, we waited another hour. The next morning, I did realize that the amenities of the hotel are fabulous with a Fitness center, a Pool, and Meeting event space. Also, they are pet friendly. We had our wedding and reception with the Redmond Towne Centre Marriott and we were delighted with their customer service from start to finish. We secured 12 rooms for our out of town family and guests and everyone was happy with their experience. The staff catered to our every need with polite and attentive service, it was an unbelievably easy process. The hotel staff that oversaw both the open bar and dinner during the reception were extremely profession and friendly. The food was great and we were amazed with the pre event tasting and experience. No hot tub or Swimming pool notice, at least if there was a sign regarding covid, that's understandable but no signage whatsoever. To top it off, we were charged 280$ deposit without prior notification upon check in. And no breakfast or buffet and had to ask the front desk to find out any information. Service is non existent and you have to directly ask for any help and no help is offered. Hidden fees is a biggie, there's a 20$ a night parking fee unless you parallel park nearby. Wouldn't recommend. It got worse, we got charged as of today (09/15/20) an additional 245$ Not sure why, we left the room in good condition and didn't do anything against the rules. This place is gouging money left and right and isn't working with us to fix it. Don't go to this hotel, do your resource, read the reviews.
