Shirley's creations has the best banana bread I've had in my entire life. Sunday staple. Made my week finding her.

Shoreline RV Park - Clean shower

    Shoreline RV Park

    (60 reviews)

While we stayed in Eureka we were parked in the Shoreline RV Park. When we got here we checked in…read moreand were told what site to park the RV and the trailer in and once we pulled into the site they assigned us to we saw that the pull through site was too small so we had to move to another site and try it again. This site was a good fit. We had to park the Jeep away from our site because there wasn't any room for it. The park and people working here were good. The grounds around the RV park were in poor condition. The grass between the sites were very long. No edging either. The WiFi was good and the place was clean otherwise. The big problem was the street access coming into and exiting the RV Park was terrible! Pit holes so large you would of thought land mines had gone off. This is unacceptable!!! Going in and out each day was a major chore. Kind wouldn't stay here again unless the road is fixed. Oh heck no!!!!!

Much confusion as to the name. Is it Shoreline RV Park OR Coastal Pines RV Park? We have camped…read morehere many times when it was called Shoreline RV Park, but I think there are new owners. The park now has dead grass and the trash bins are wedged under low hanging branches. We reserved a certain site for one-night but when we arrived at 3:30 PM, the office was closed and someone was in our site. We waited 30 minutes and no one called back at the numbers listed. So we checked their online reservation system (Campspot) for another empty spot and just decided to park there. We didn't want to hook up for fear we would be asked to move. We had an appointment in town and so we left a note on our door with our phone number. No one ever called our entire time there. We will NOT stay there again.

Riverwalk Rv Park - September 11, 2025 - RV Site

September 9-12, 2025 - Fortuna, CA…read more This RV park has a lot going for it: level sites, a small pool and spa, a rec room, store, laundry, and friendly staff. We also appreciated the many trees, the picnic table at each site, and a little patch of grass along with the full hookups. Also within walking distance is Eel River Brewery, Bella Italia Italian Restaurant, and the Eel River Walk Trail. The only drawback for us was the traffic noise. Highway 101 runs directly behind the park, and the road out front gets more than its share of trucks and the occasional wannabe dragster. It didn't ruin our stay, but it did impact our sleep. I don't think I would stay here again simply because of the traffic noise. Not the RV park's fault, just simply a matter of location.

September 9-12, 2025 This is a nice park with many towering…read moreredwood trees, recreation activities including ping pong and horse shoes, a pool, jacuzzi, and laundry. The staff are friendly and the grounds are well kept. They have full hookups and a picnic table on nice green grass. It is within easy walking distance of Eel River Brewery (among my all time favorites) and a nice Italian Restaurant (Bella Italia). Those are the positives. The one big negative for me was the traffic noise. The park is right next to a Highway 101 off ramp and there is another road going by the front of the park that is fairly busy and noisy with lots of big rigs. If you do decide to stay here, I suggest you have a noise canceling device or ear plugs. It was hard to get a sound night's sleep.

They laundry facilities is mediocre at best. The don't mow the lawns. The tenants are responsible for weeds etc. Awful place to live. Also they raise the rent constantly. In 7 yrs rent has gone from 350.00 to 695.00.

I would really like to give this place a better review and not everything about it is bad, but it's…read morenot a place I would recommend staying in if you can avoid it. There is new management as of 1-2 years ago and they are really trying to clean the place up and are going about it in the entirely wrong way, in my humble opinion. Good things about this place- 1. They are outside of Eureka a little bit so there aren't as many homeless people wandering through. This can also be a downside if you don't have a vehicle or are having car trouble 2. There are showers, restrooms, and a laundry room. Laundry is much cheaper than at the local laundromats Not so good things about this place- 1. The managers are trying to get better tenants while removing amenities, not fixing things that desperately need fixing, and constantly changing the rules requiring tenants to spend money on things that are not their responsibility, and then changing the requirements as soon as they have complied. They are also raising the rent while doing this, even for people who have contracts that stipulate otherwise or who they haven't notified. 2. When there are problems that a tenant needs to have solved (like a homeless person causing trouble, other tenants allowing pets to potty without cleaning up, someone doing drugs, etc), the landlords put the responsibility back on the tenants requiring them to tell them exactly who is causing the trouble or calling them when it happens and then not responding for days or longer when they do 3. They are cutting the maintenance man's hours while requiring him to do more than they are paying him for. Because of this, major things requiring repair aren't getting repaired and lawns aren't being mowed and the clippings are left all over the tenants space 4. There are major electrical problems at this location- outlets catching on fire and having major issues like reverse polarity. This has caused damaged to multi trailers and RVs. When it does cause damage or a tenant has to spend a lot of money on an expensive surge protector, they refuse to pay for the damage they have caused and blame the tenant 5. There are many problems with the sewer system as well- drain flies, improper and leaking hookups they will not fix, even if they were messed up before you moved in, etc. I had to spend my own time and money to be able to hook up my RV and it still leaked and smelled. You also cannot leave your black or gray tanks open. This was rather inconvenient as my gray tank filled up daily. All in all, they are one of a very few trailer parks in Eureka that have openings and a less unreasonable rent amount. It's that way for a reason.

Cons; there are a few cons. 1. The camp host nowhere to be…read morefound, no sign, no answering of phones.. 2. The long term/ permanent RV's in the back of the site were creepy broken windows and looked abandoned, along with the broken down Xterra by the bathrooms. 3. Cob webs all over inside the Cabin. I mean just a quick vacuum with an extension and poof they would be gone.. 4. The office not open.. ever! They have firewood for sale. We just can't buy it.. bring your own or drive somewhere else, we went to Safeway. They have golf clubs for the miniature golf course but you can't get them they are locked in the office.. bring your own (?) 5. Three other guests came up to us and asked us where the host was? Because they had issues.. asked Why the office was closed. We also witnessed a Mercedes camper van come in really late parked woke up really super early and left probably without paying.. lol probably avoidable if the office was occupied.. 8. That F ING rooster..( not at the campground so not their fault but close enough to be more then annoying .. F that Rooster!!! Pros: 1. Isolated and very peaceful at night. Not in the morning 5am... that rooster all day!! ALL DAY!!!!! 2. Very Clean and stocked bathrooms, hot water and comfortable room temperature. 3. Washer's and dryer's available easy tap to pay. No physical $. 4. Nice place for families with kids, playgrounds and activities. 5. Close to both eureka and Arcata. 6. Comfortable beds. 7. Comfortable porch swings. 8. The one worker we saw was very kind. He was cleaning cabins and stocking..very respectful and mindful of guests. 9. Clean Pool/ hot tub 10. Easy Parking 11. Very Dog friendly. 12. Fresh Rooster for dinner.... jk Overall a very relaxing stay. I think if you're prepared like we were to literally just go camping without a tent, you'll be happy with your stay. If you expect glaming with an Airbnb feel you'll be disappointed.. we had a small cabin, just the basic rustic. Which was fine and all except for the no fridge aspect, so make sure you bring ice. We will be staying there again maybe farther away from the rooster in the deluxe cabin or bring ear plugs..

Eventually they were all gone in the main bathroom and we had to resort to the other one. BRING WD-40!!! The doors are SO creaky in the cabins that when someone leaves the cabin EVERYONE IS AWOKEN. No fridge anywhere, no microwave in cabin but theres one in the office, along with coffee, tea, and hot coco, but you can only get it when the office is open, which is basically never. The hot tub was quite frighteningly colored, buttttt i got in anyway and havent died or broken out yet. So i guess the human soup is safe ish The washing machine situation was nice though, if you download the app you get a free wash or dry, and if you download it on a different phone you get another free one... just saying. The pillows are so small that at one point i thought i had lost the pillow off the bed but then i looked and it was there. It was basically a sheet of paper with a pillowcase. Pictures were inaccurate on airbnb, which wasnt my fave but oh well. Good for camping but not accurately listed sooo do with that what you will. It was fun but go into it as YOU ARE CAMPING. Not an airbnb.
