    The Best Dam Panini
    Danielle P.

A client from work actually recommended this place to me when I told her we'd be passing through town. It's a super cute little place! They appeared to be slightly understaffed while we were there, but service was still friendly and with a smile. Seating is outside and it was a bit windy, but still pleasant. When I heard about the broasted chicken, I had to try it! It did not disappoint. It was very juicy and flavorful. The fries were cooked perfectly and adequately seasoned. Their honey mustard dipping sauce was pretty good! My youngest ordered the same thing but with ranch for dipping and loved it as well. My oldest went with the Best Dam Panini and said it was amazing. Portion sizes are very generous. We didn't have room for dessert this time, so I guess we will just have to come back!

Not much of a visit. Our group had hoped to try the food but the kitchen was backed up by our calculations about 30 minutes longer than we could tolerate. The server said they could do drinks to go if we liked. They were out of diet soda so I ordered an unsweetened tea. It was not the best but it was drinkable though bitter. Looks like it has a nice shaded outdoor eating space. Tip: Be prepared to have a wait. May be call ahead and see how far behind they are.

If you come to or are passing through Boulder City, a stop at Chilly Jilly'z is highly recommended. They have a vast menu with all sorts of offerings. If you show your Nevada ID, you get a 10% discount, too. We've visited twice now and both times have encountered friendly and efficient service and scrumptious treats. Each order is made fresh after ordering, so there may be a little wait. You can place your order via the walk up window or by drive thru. Plenty of parking spots and each time has been a "chill" visit at Chilly Jilly'z.

Best dam panini & chicken tenders w/ fries

We had family visiting from out of the country and had lunch here while exploring Boulder City. This place only has either a walk-up counter or drive-thru window with plenty of outdoor tables for dining. The woman at the counter was very friendly and patient even though it seemed like she was the only person working there at the time. We had the Best Dam Panini which had top sirloin, provolone cheese, topped with BBQ sauce & coleslaw w/ fries and 3-pc chicken tenders. We couldn't decide on the dipping sauce so we asked for both thousand island and ranch. The sandwich was really good and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. However, the tenders could use some more seasoning and a little dry. I wouldn't mind going back there to try other items on the menu the next time I'm in that area. They also give 10% discount for Nevada residents which was a nice bonus.

If you happen to be in the area pass by this place and try their pineapple dole float. It was so refreshing after a long tour from Hoover Dam. They have drive thru and outdoor seating but it was just too hot in the summer! we just came here for the pineapple float but they offer different kinda of foods. The service was quick!

1/5 stars - chicken fingers: Unfortunately, these were tasteless and so greasy.

Had to give this a 3 star for now because 1 item was an absolute 5 star and the other, 1 star so just hear me out (til our next visit) I've lived in Vegas for over 20 yrs so over time I've seen this place during travels and finally tired it. When we got there you couldn't go inside and it was drive thru or walk-up window only. Not sure if it's always like that or not. So we decided to do drive thru because it was over 100 degrees outside. The young lady on the intercom was nice and it was easy to place our order. They cook to order so (be patient) we waited in the drive thru for about 10mins but it was all good w/ us because the food was hot and fresh. We have been talking about that burger for a couple of weeks now, definitely will be going back for that! 5/5 stars - cheeseburger was full of flavor, well seasoned! Soft toasted bun. Great portion for price and fries hot and crispy! They have a thousand island spread that was also yummy and veggies were nice and fresh too! 1/5 stars - chicken fingers: Unfortunately, these were tasteless and so greasy.

Nice hole in the wall cafe in Boulder City. They do have a restroom on the right side of the building but had to flag a worker down to ask. Took a very long time to get someone to the window to order but she said it's because we "pushed it wrong", that we needed to push it hard on the bottom enough so that we heard it ring outside. Maybe put a sign explaining that? Nonetheless, decent food except the chicken is very dry. Ranch is excellent. They had no croissants for a breakfast sandwich so went with the bagel and it was just okay. Not bad for a post-hike snack.

This is a one stop shop for all your cravings. I used to live in Boulder City many years ago and this place wasn't here cause if it was I would have been coming here often. Our visit was a while back and I just had to have one of their delicious Dole Whips. One of the tastiest around. They offer so much more like sandwiches, salads, smoothies, broasted chicken, shakes, frozen yogurt. This place can easily satisfy the whole family. If you have never tried their broasted chicken, it's a must. Broasted chicken is cooked by marinating the chicken in spices then it is placed in a pressure cooker. It makes the meat so juicy and flavorful. I love that they don't begin to cook the chicken until you order. Plenty of seating and parking is also easy. Interior is large and can hold quite a few people. They are also offering brunch on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and dinner on Saturday nights right next door at The Patio. Service is always friendly and helpful. When in big Boulder City, be sure to stop here especially on an ultra hot day. You will leave feeling cool and comfortable.

Such a cute spot in Boulder City! Auntie loves the soft serve and my kids are obsessed with the Cookie Monster ice cream flavor, definitely a hit for the whole family. The root beer float and pineapple floats are so good too. We actually stopped by because the hot dog lady across the street told us this place is owned by her daughter, so of course we had to come support and we love supporting local like this. We have not tried the food yet but will definitely be back to check it out next time. Now it is another one of our go to spots whenever we stop by the VA cemetery nearby. Great vibes, friendly service, and definitely worth the visit!

We stopped for an ice cream sundae, root beer float and a Pinapple dole float. Everything was so delicious!

It was very good, but I was a bit disappointed that the consistency of the ice cream was more like that of a frosty than old fashioned, more solid ice cream. My scoops were also melting fast--understandably, in 100 degree heat! I had a small Sugar Cone holding two scoops: Chocolate Almond Ice Cream on top, and Pistachio Ice Cream on the bottom. I liked the Chocolate Almond the best with its robust chocolate taste, whereas the Pistachio Ice Cream was very light green in color, and with not that strong of a taste of pistachios. I may be be picking at straws though, because the ice cream was still refreshing and satisfying on a hot summer night. Prospective purchasers line up here outside the business to buy their desired ice cream products at a window, and the lines can be long. This particular night there was a line of about ten people at 8:00 p.m., but it was down to two by 8:15 p.m. Everything ordered has to be assembled inside on the spot, and sundaes of course take more time to prepare than cones. Scoops are generous in size, and choices listed on two large wooden signs are very numerous. On my single outing here to my dismay just about everyone ahead of me was ordering sundaes! Go figure!
