    Creme brulee with raspberry sorbet
    Arun K.

This was an excellent restaurant for the Bite 30 promotion. I was informed by Google Assistant that there was no wait, so I arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday. While the parking space was a bit small, I was able to park near the clubhouse. I noticed that the clubhouse was closed, but was told there was an entrance in the back. I was greeted immediately and sat in the bar. I chose the Smoldering Image (13 dollars) as my drink. I first thought it would be light as I saw the pour was regular, but it was much stronger that I thought with the nice bourbon and the strong cinnamon flavor from the syrup. I was pretty tipsy after a couple sips. It was a great drink for 13 dollars. I tried the mahi ceviche for my appetizer, which had fresh cubes of mahi in a citrus sauce. There was onion and peppers, and it was easy to scoop with the chips provided. The mahi was tender and enjoyable. I chose the suggested roasted chicken for my entree. It was nicely cut into smaller pieces (drumstick and thighs) to make it easier to eat. The chicken was nicely roasted and quite tender. I also liked the potatos included, and the French onion sauce added the needed flavor. And the portion was nicely sized that I was able to take some home to enjoy the next day. For dessert, the creme brulee was delivered warm was advertised. It could have been cooler to make it more enjoyable, but it was still creamy. The brulee was a bit too hard to open, so I just cracked it and left that just to enjoy the creme in the bottom. Instead of berries, a raspberry sorbet was provided on top, which I found to be quite unique. It was refreshing with the raspberry flavor and cool enough to be refreshing. I was pretty impressed with quality of food and drinks here. My bartender was friendly and provided great suggestions. While the food did take some time, it was worth the wait. The restaurant was pretty shall with just a few seats in the dining area, and a nice bar. Outdoor seating was available as well with a nice view of the pool and fountains. The music was upbeat with a club vibe. This restaurant is located in the clubhouse of an upscale gated apartment complex. You don't have to go through the gates to eat here, nor would you be able to access any other amenities after eating at the restaurant. Only the restaurant is open to the public, and the other amenities are for residents only. I was very happy they participated in the Bite 30 promotion, and really hope the great quality of food and drinks will bring more guests to this place.

I went for an event and the venue was beautiful. The drink selection is limited and the menu is small but what they had was tasty. I'm not sure if this was an elevated apartment clubhouse since it had a gym in the same area and overlooked the pool. Still, very pretty

Now that we are in the tail leg of Bite30 (wrapping up, I believe, this weekend), I decided to visit Reflections at Glasshouse with my dearest friend to experience their Bite30 menu. Upon arrival, parking became a very tricky venture. While there is limited parking space up front, most will probably have to opt for and park in the overflow plaza parking lot off to the left. A perk, if it interests you, is that there are ample EV/Tesla parking stalls/stations. Otherwise, there is ample parking if you don't mind a little walk to get to the venue. The day we decided to venture to Reflections at Glasshouse, we were greeted with a traditional summer FL downpour. So, just be wary of the fact that if you are parked in the overflow/plaza parking, then your shoes/feet will be submerged in rainwater as the overall lot/street drainage is not the GREATEST. Wear shoes you are good with getting soaked (or flip-flops). Anyways, civil land development aside, the actual front office/space that the restaurant is in is quite nice. It is a modern-styled building with LOTS of floor-to-ceiling glass bringing in BEAUTIFUL amounts of sunlight. They have ample seating areas and amenities for guests and residents. Lots of pretty water features, and it smells LOVELY right when you walk in. The restaurant is located towards the back, and it overlooks the residential pool area - an area, sadly, not open to the public. However, there is outdoor seating that overlooks that area as well. So, while you can't use the pool itself, you can get a great view of it and take scenic pictures too. Now, onto the actual restaurant itself. As mentioned briefly, we decided to visit for their Bite30 dining experience. After inquiring, we ended up just ordering from their regular menu and bypassing Bite30. And, ultimately, based on the food experience, it was a wise decision to NOT commit to the pricier Bite30 option. I opted to get their crispy fish tacos, which came with a choice of salad or fries. I got the salad. My friend opted to get the Cuban sandwich, which also came with a side option, and she got the fries. Overall, the food was OKAY at best. It was standard poolside food, with no extra bells and whistles. Nothing to brag about and not worth dropping $38.00 plus tax for a Bite30 course dining experience. Now, while the staff was kind, the service itself was not the best, and I am chalking it up to the fact that the same day we visited, there was a large Bridal Shower party already there that they were catering to. So, we had to wait a bit before the server came around to the table to take and deliver our order. However, as mentioned, they were very kind. Price points for their regular menu are standard poolside/bar food. Drinks range from standard pricing to pricey, depending on what it is you are ordering. And the overall look and feel of the restaurant is on trend with the general building: modern. It gets GREAT light. It is airy (they open their large doors to the back deck that overlooks the poolside. The music is also good. It is also a great space for EVENTS. There is a decent amount of seating. Not sure about their typical foot traffic, but I would assume it is not super busy all the time. Maybe on the weekends, it may see more guests who aren't residents. Overall, it is a CUTE spot to visit. Maybe go in with managed expectations on the food, though.

    Outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed.

This restaurant is in an apartment complex, but it's open to the public. The staff was really nice and we enjoyed our food. It took an extra long time to get the food, but the manager came out and explained that one of the chefs had an emergency. So he gave us a big discount on our bill. They have QR codes for menus and it appears as though you have to order on your phone, but a waiter will come and take your order if you don't want to do it that way. They have brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, but we just had lunch. The music is a little loud but you can talk to your table mates just fine.

Looking at the menu I was bit surprised they did not have more signature drinks on the menu, mainly mojitos, but then realized this is a Latin speakeasy, with music playing to match. Once I had my coconut mojito I was very pleased. They really do know how to make them. They also have a full bar so anything you want they can make, The bartender and servers were super nice and friendly, and they worked quick to get all drinks out. They also had some food, that looked delicious, and hope I get the chance to come back to try some. After seating in the lounge/ speakeasy area for a while, we moved to the bar for a last drink. The bartender said Espresso Martinis were her specialty so we order those. She was not lying, one of the best we've had.

Interesting space... I see the vision but this is why space planning is so important. Or maybe it's the designer in me. I found the seating very uncomfortable and awkwardly positioned. The services was good and the empanadas were tasty (little greasy) Drinks were yummy... The old fashion was presented in a box while it was being smoked, very cool concept. Overall I dig the concept and I was glad to check it out since I was in the Kissimmee area.

There are so many different tapas to order from, and the best way to try as many as you can is to order the "Get 'Em All" that's offered at their Happy Hour. You can get like 9 different tapas for around $20. My absolute favorite item is the Cajun Chicken Egg Roll. It's stuffed with a good amount of chicken, goat cheese, some veggies, and is served with this not-so-tangy mustard sauce. For all the food that was provided, this is such a good deal. There are a ton of other menu items available, that the "Get 'Em All" doesn't cover, that are also definitely worth trying. The entire place is eclectic and oozing with art and creativity. The walls are covered in paintings and other art pieces made by local artists. Each artwork can be purchased to support them. Sometimes there is a live artist working on their art. You can support them directly by purchasing some prints or any completed pieces they have on display.

Let's focus on the positives first: the atmosphere is incredibly fun and the live music Saturday night was a perfect touch at the bar. There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.
