I first visited The H back in 2021 and had been wanting to return ever since. Fast forward to 2026 and I finally made it back for a late dinner with a 10:30 reservation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has been recently renovated and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Great seating, beautiful atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and we started the night on a high note with Brazilian lemonades and caipirinhas that were delicious. The snow crab claw appetizer was a nice touch too. Here is where things took a turn. For dinner we ordered the Branzino, the Château filet mignon and the fettuccine Alfredo pappardelle. Both the filet and the pasta were made tableside which sounds exciting but the execution left a lot to be desired. For a $160 Château filet the tableside experience felt underwhelming and the flavor did not match the price or the presentation. The pasta was $50 and had barely any flavor. The Branzino at $70 came with no sauce and nothing to elevate it. For an almost $500 bill the food was honestly mediocre and that is a hard pill to swallow. To add to it the service got a bit lost once the venue transitioned into club mode after 11pm and someone else had to take over our table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We still had a good time and the vibe is undeniably fun but when the food and the check don't align it is hard to justify coming back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Probably won't be returning for dinner but it could be a fun spot just for drinks. Maybe.

Place for the occasion What friend and I stopped by here for drinks and chats. Oh and also some appetizers. The drinks were nicely decorated. There was bread as a complimentary which were ok. Also got the zucchini fries which I thought wasn't as good. Somehow it was a bit more oily but I think it is just the zucchini being soft. The Fennel salad was refreshing, a great snack food. Environment This was located in a plaza on the end. There is valet parking and plenty of parking available since it was an end unit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is outdoor seating, semi-outdoor and indoor. There is also bar seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very nicely decorated and is quite the restaurant for the occasion or any fancy celebration you have.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Niceness of the staff I sat at the bar, the staff was nice and attentive. I didn't have any other particular interactions. Dollar It was quite the dollar I'd say. Very expensive to that but good for a celebration. Yes Indifferent.

Started off with bread and a yummy dipping oil

My friend and I came here for Magical Dining and their $60 menu. Service was great, and our waitress was extremely friendly and offered great recommendations. Apparently their wine list recently changed, so every wine I asked for was no longer offered, which was a bit frustrating. I thought their actual selection of wines by the glass could have been better. For our appetizer, we chose burrata and charred carrots. I thought the charred carrots were interesting and tasty, but not a very large portion, especially compared to the burrata (which was absolutely delicious!) The stat of the show was the entree. We both ordered the short ribs. Absolutely some of the best shorts I've ever had! They were served on top of these creamy and delectable purple grits. It was just all in all an amazing combination and flavor profile. I am craving more even as I write this. For dessert, we also both chose baklava. It was pistachio baklava instead of the traditional walnut. According to the restaurant, it's imported straight from Turkey. I was most disappointed with this dessert. There was a weird flavor from the pistachio, and I think the phyllo wasn't as flaky as I was expecting. I had much higher expectations for this. I was shocked when the bill came. They automatically add a 20% service charge. And then you are supposed to tip on top of that. It would have been nice to be made aware that this service charge existed before being presented a bill that was twice as much as I expected to pay. Overall, the experience was nice but I probably would not be back because I do not believe that that it was worth the price we paid.

    Platter of heaven. Incredible.

We had such a pleasant visit to celebrate my birthday. I haven't dined here in over 4 years & I finally was able to change that. It was BETTER than what I had remembered! Ash took excellent care of us, she was very attentive, kind & hospitable. The team worked as a well oiled machine to reset our table consistently & make sure our waters were filled. We were very pleased with our stay. The MOD/Owner also checked up on our meal & was kind. This is easily my favorite steak that I've ever had! I can't wait to come back for more celebrations. One of the best Happy Hours in Orlando from 4-6:30pm DAILY at the bar and outdoor patio. The drinks, and the food were both what you'd expect from a high end steakhouse. The people that come here really dress up in dresses, high heels, and fancy outfits. Kind of weird considering the restaurant is in a strip mall. The happy hour food menu ranges from $9-$18. The wine is $8. The cocktails are $10. And the beer is $5. I decided I was going to try a bunch of items. Up first, $10 espresso martini. Standard, and above average. Second, the $10 Caesar salad. Perfect, I really really liked it. 9.5/10. Third, $10 burrata. It was alright, a little small, probably the worst of all of the items that I tried. Up 4th, the $13 wagyu beef sliders. Super duper delicious. Up 5th, $18 Lokum. Excellent and I really enjoyed the peppers that come with it. Up 6th, the $10 smoked old fashioned. Perfect 10/10, one giant ice cube and flavor on point. Up 7th, $9 cauliflower cacio e pepe. Kind of weird, but actually very good. Not at all what I was expecting. And my 8th item was the $10 porn star martini. This thing was actually really good. I'd certainly get it again. Totally worth checking out during happy hour. I'd like to try more food and drink items next time. The reason I took off a star is because of the AUTOMATIC 20% tip bar service charge Friday-Saturday.

The venue topped off the celebration with cake and champagne, the perfect ending

Celebrated my birthday here and overall had a great experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a Mediterranean-inspired steakhouse in the Dr. Phillips area with an upscale feel and a lively atmosphere that leans into a nightlife vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the wood-fired octopus, tomahawk steak, pappardelle tossed fresh in the cheese wheel, and an Old Fashioned for me . The presentation was beautiful across the board. The tomahawk was definitely the highlight, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The octopus was good, and the pappardelle was a fun experience with the tableside cheese wheel preparation. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel special, especially for a birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is what really stands out. It's a great spot if you're looking for something a little more energetic than a traditional fine dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, a great place for a special occasion or a night out.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Lovely modern decor, that's where the compliments stop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overly priced and pretentious for just okay food. $29 for half a grilled king crab leg that was plated on top of rocks. Please be for real. Service was slow, inattentive and unfriendly. If you want to go to a pretentious Instagram restaurant with mid food this is your place

Great items on happy hour. The favorite was the spicy crab claws, so much flavor! Great spicy sauce for dipping into. Service was on point one this slow weekday. The decor is awesome. Reminds me of great restaurants in Vegas

This was my first time visiting since the renovation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The renovation, although not needed, was done I suspect to make the restaurant even more instagram worthy. It's gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks are not too far behind. I had the Caesar Salad starter and it might have been the best thing I had. It's probably the best Caesar I have ever had. Full of flavor and there right amount of anchovy taste to set it apart without being overpowering. For my main I had the Ribeye with Truffle Fries and Creamed Spinach. My ribeye was a tad over the medium temp I ordered but my dining companion's was cooked to a perfect medium. The flavor was definitely there and I love they offer flaked salt. The truffle fries were to die for but the creamed spinach lacked flavor. I would have preferred they offered sautéed spinach. The Raspberry Sorbet was very nice. Drinks were very good as well. I started with the Purple Jade and then had the best Smoked Old Fashioned I have ever had, and I have had many. My Pinot Noir however was not good as it had turned. They were kind enough to remove it from my bill without hesitation. Our server Ismail was attentive without being overbearing and everyone on the staff assisting him was spot on as well. Will be back soon. I also appreciate that they were open for lunch on the weekend.

This was one of the best culinary experiences I've had in Orlando, but sadly it was overshadowed by the worst service I've ever received at a fine dining restaurant. The good: The ambiance is warm, inviting, and elegant, with beautiful décor and great music. I was there with my parents (who I hadn't seen in a long time) and my fiancé, who had raved about this place. The food exceeded expectations: we started with steak tartare and pastrami, both exploding with flavor and crafted with true artistry. For mains, I had the short rib, my dad and fiancé had the pappardelle (served tableside), and my mother ordered the filet with broccolini. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Dessert was baklava, a heavenly finish. Drinks were also excellent. Truly, the food and overall environment deserve nothing but praise. The bad: Unfortunately, our server, Kseniia, completely ruined the experience. Every other staff member--including the manager, assistant manager, food runner, tableside chef, and other servers--were smiling, professional, and kind. She, however, greeted us without a smile, spoke so quietly we constantly had to ask her to repeat herself, and made every interaction awkward and uncomfortable. She seemed uninterested in being there, interrupting conversations to refill already-full glasses and even bringing extra bottles of sparkling and still water without asking--adding unnecessary charges to our bill. She often made us feel rushed, standing silently over us until we ordered, offering no recommendations or specials, and giving the impression that we were inconveniencing her. At times, she looked at me with open disdain. My father, who is very warm and charismatic, even tried to lighten the mood, but she remained cold and dismissive. The final straw came when she dropped the check on the table without a word, then returned a few minutes later, opened it in front of us, and fumbled through it as if impatient for us to pay and leave--something I'd expect at a casual chain restaurant, not a fine dining establishment. She didn't even thank us at the end; another server had to close out the bill, and his friendliness in those brief moments was better than her service the entire night. We spent over $500 and left feeling disrespected and upset, despite the outstanding food. It was embarrassing to watch my parents--who traveled far and deserved a special evening--be treated this way. I rarely write reviews, but this bothered me enough to lose sleep over. Final thoughts: The food, drinks, and ambiance are absolutely worth coming back for, but the service we received from this particular server was unacceptable. She needs serious retraining, as her demeanor would be questionable even in a casual setting, let alone fine dining. To make matters worse, gratuity was included--likely explaining why she made no effort, since the tip was guaranteed. I would absolutely return to this restaurant for the food and experience, but I would go out of my way to ensure I'm not seated in her section again

Wow! No wonder this place is viral. We walked in the restaurant and it had an artsy vibe to it. There was a big electronic mural that changes that goes well with the burgundy chairs. The bar was really cool too with wood panels highlighted in red. The food was delicious. totally worse the money we had the château steak, medium, rare with the mushroom pale pasta that is in a big Parmesan cheese bowl and it was amazing. The drinks were amazing. We had the chocolate lovers. Dessert tasted phenomenal. Definitely would go back there again, if you want an upscale type of dining experience.

If I could give it more than five stars, I definitely would!! Me and my husband went there for a late anniversary/birthday and was BLOWN AWAY. They gave us a really nice table right in the middle of all the action. We ordered the ribeye and fillet, both were extremely buttery, delicious and well seasoned! We also had the truffle fries and the millionaire's baklava. Everything was on point. The service was amazing and the presentation was great. Definitely going back.!!!

My boyfriend made an online reservation with no issues, and getting seated was easy. Overall, I'd give the food about a 3 out of 5. Nothing was bad, but it felt more like an upscale chain restaurant experience than a standout seafood destination. Around the table we had everything from lobster mac and cheese to oysters and steak, and the consensus was that the food was decent, just not particularly memorable. I'm allergic to dairy so that definitely impacted my ordering abilities. I ordered two appetizers as my meal: the calamari and the pork belly. The calamari was a bit too fishy for my taste, so I found myself mostly picking at it. The pork belly, however, was very good and easily the highlight of my meal. Where Big Fin truly shines is customer service. We had several picky-eater teens in our group, plenty of special requests, and a lot of moving parts. Our server, I believe his name was Nathan, handled everything with patience, and a great attitude throughout the evening. The hostess was equally impressive. We arrived before the rest of our party and had the opportunity to watch her expertly navigate a few situations with what appeared to be some challenging guests. She remained gracious, calm, and welcoming the entire time. John, the manager, also stopped by our table and was wonderful. It's clear that hospitality is a priority here, and every staff member we encountered made us feel genuinely welcome. While the food won't have me rushing back, the exceptional service certainly left a positive impression.

We were immediately greeted by two hosts with genuine, big smiles, which set the tone for the entire evening. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef, mixologist, and general manager--a personal touch that truly elevated the experience. Our evening was a full-on culinary journey. We enjoyed oysters, shrimp, newly crafted cocktails and bold wines, crab cakes, Hamachi crudo, poached king crabs, halibut, and yes--all of the desserts!!!! Every single one of them. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and somehow better than the last. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the fish was flawless, and the balance of flavors throughout the meal was spot on. There is a chef-tasting menu--which we didn't experience this time--but after this meal, it's absolutely happening on our next visit. The night ended with a tableside dessert presentation from the chef, which was such a memorable and elevated final touch. Incredible service, exceptional food, and an atmosphere that encourages great conversation and even better memories. I cannot wait to go back. Everything we tried was tasty, and the happy-hour pricing made it possible to sample several different dishes. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday as a surprise, and overall, we had a wonderful time. However, one part of the experience could have been handled much better. We brought a personal dessert for the celebration, but the manager would not allow us to serve it and came across as unnecessarily rude when explaining the policy. We respect that restaurants may have rules regarding outside food, but no one informed us of this policy when we made the reservation or when we checked in with the dessert. A simple heads-up beforehand--or a kinder, more professional explanation--would have prevented the disappointment. Despite that interaction, the drinks, food, atmosphere, and rest of the experience were very enjoyable. I would still recommend Norman's, especially for its excellent happy-hour menu, but I hope management improves how special-occasion policies are communicated to guests.

If there were 2-3 servers, no problem, but all that tip going to one person when service drastically slowed? Horrendous. Management, fix your staffing issues! At least stop seating people when the place is full and you know you do not have the capacity to serve all these folks. Everyone in the restaurant was trying to be patient but there was a lot of angst all around, plus the server seemed to have a bit of a spiff with the manager / owner that came out to drop off food (which also didn't give for good vibes when you're eating). It felt like they were one step away from a shouting match. Besides that, the Bite 30 menu was a great deal. Apps were solid, as were mains. Dessert wasn't great though. But still a solid deal to get some crab plus extras in, and is a good way to sample their offerings.

It's also a great spot for large parties without ever feeling chaotic. Service is always 10/10, always attentive, friendly and prompt, they are so on top of it you never have to ask for a refill. The food is consistently amazing. Highly recommend the BBQ shrimp, the wood fired oysters (the chili butter is seriously addicting), and the Gumbo Ya-Ya. Every dish is packed with flavor and feels authentic. Easily one of my favorite spots whenever I'm craving Creole food.

I really wanted to like this place but it was a swing and a miss. Parking was easy during the Saturday afternoon we visited. On busier occasions, they do offer valet parking. Nearby businesses share parking so if it's a peak time, you may have to walk a little to the door. Not a long wait before we were seated. Spacious with tables and booth seating. There is a bar and televisions here. Our hostess was nice and offered insight into the menu. For the appetizers, we started with oysters Rockefeller, and fried gator tail. It's a red flag when places smother items in a sauce instead of letting it stand on it's own. No complaints on the oysters and the gator tail was given previously frozen vibes. For the entree, I got the shrimp po' boy. The bread was hearty and held onto the six lil shrimp that they felt were enough. When the ratio of shrimp, bread and topping aren't portioned right, you end up with gaps of the flavor when you're eating. What sent me is the shrimp weren't properly deveined. If you took a biology class, you know that black line running along the back is the shrimp's waste system. I'm not eating that. The hostess saw me just sitting there looking at my food and asked if I wanted something different. Hard pass. Even the waffle fries were bad. They weren't piping hot and dried out inside. I made due with the sweet tea which they did well with. The manager came by and offered to remake or replace my meal. I appreciate his efforts but I didn't want anything at that point. The bathrooms were clean. Nice enough people but the kitchen didn't get it right.
