But far worse than noisy conversation there's this bell on both the front and back entrances that plays a little five note electric tune every time someone comes in or leaves... Why is it there? Why is it needed? The fact that only a few people have noted it here perhaps speaks more of our noise-polluted lives than anything else, but it's maddening as this thing goes off literally every minute or more, constant, tintinnabulations of the bell, bell, bell, bell, bell... There was an employee taking a break on his phone listening to YouTube videos out loud, too... I guess we're all just so used to this now. So if you want a quiet cafe to get work done, this ain't it. For the Affogato, we sampled several ice cream flavors before landing on vanilla, cookie butter, and dark chocolate. The cookie butter was the standout and absolutely phenomenal, but honestly any of the options would have been a great choice. The chocolate chip cookie was also incredible. I warmed it up in the oven after getting home and it completely took it to another level. If I had one recommendation, it would be offering warmed cookies in house because that made it next level.
