She didn't touch most of the dead skin around the edges that would normally be cleaned up. The massage, which cost extra of course, was so-so. Prices are different than online. Pedi: my mom and I got a pedicure with the callus treatment. It cost $55 and honestly was nothing special, I could've done it at home. It was way overpriced. I couldn't even feel the foot massage, and they didn't really make my feet look better or feel softer Mani: for my manicure, the price online said $18 for French tips and this was not the case, it was way more. I chose the nail polish with the seven day chip free guarantee, I got them done on Thursday, it is now Monday and already chipping. When I got home, I noticed some cuts by my cuticles that the nail tech did and didn't even mention. I will definitely not be going back, it's way overpriced and they don't do anything spectacular for me to justify paying that amount. I will say it was a very clean environment. read more

I booked through ClassPass just to use up all my credits and I was pleasantly surprised. Clean nail salon with packaged sanitized equipment. My nail tech was super gentle with my gel manicure. It was nothing fancy just one plain color but she really took her time and didn't rush it. I had another nail tech for the pedicure and she was also very gentle and did not rush as well. It's been more than two weeks for the pedicure and the nail polish is still intact. The regular price for gel manicure is $45 which is pretty pricey but we are also in the city so it is not surprising. It started chipping after a week but seems to be normal. read more

I had a lovely experience with Regina, very friendly and my nails were done very perfectly with care and precision. I bite my nails badly! There was no judgement! The booking system is very easy to use and you can also tip on your card. If you do book, it does charge 50% of the bill for security. You can also call to book if you'd like. I was appalled when the person doing my gel manicure had used the nail filer ON HER OWN NAILS right before using it to file mine! And she used it right in front of me too! There was no clear sign of any of the equipment (that was used for my nails) having been cleaned or wiped or sanitized at all. Also, my nails were filed and cut uneven. After the appointment, I noticed a piece of lint was polished under the top coat which meant it stayed there unless I remove the nail polish completely. Polish has also started chipping away (for a gel manicure!). So disappointed. I would not recommend this place at all - it's overpriced and unsanitary. read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews but I am not exaggerating when I say I think this manicure is the worst of my life. I wish I would have stayed home and done it myself because the quality is so bad. They put two extremely thin coats of very old looking gel polish on which left streaks and lumps. It's see-through even though it was opaque polish. The lengths and shapes of the nails are uneven as well. I called them and they refused to refund me, they only offered to fix it which would require a total removal and another gel manicure that's likely to be poor quality. I think it's an okay place that does okay work. No heavy criticisms. But they do take a VERY long time to do each task. A 40 minute pedicure and was 1 hr 20mins, no massage or anything. They will get noticeably upset if you do not tip 25% or higher. So Please be mindful when booking an appointment here. My nails look okay, even though one or two are crooked. read more

Just moved in the neighborhood and thought I would try the nearest nail salon. Came in for an appointment that I booked, just to sit down and have the lady who was about to start doing my nails started talking to another woman. They both start laughing, the other woman comes over and looks at my hands -- they both start laughing together. The lady who walks over ASKS TO SEE MY HAND (which I politely show) and she started laughing again with the other woman as they speak together. I clearly cannot understand what they're saying to one another, but it is clear they are ridiculing me as I sit there in front of them. I came here having had an extremely rough day, looking to treat myself to a nice manicure -- my first in NYC! This was a horrendous experience and I highly do not recommend this nail salon to anyone. Safe, fast service, barriers and masks in place, appointment only so only a few people inside. Great powder manicure + extensions, lasted four weeks without breaking or lifting. I came in with some black spot on my toe and my technician was very sweet and discreet (I was embarrassed it might of have toe fungus) and explained it's definitely just a bruise because she can see it from the root. She let me know not to try the over the counter medications because they do not work, or I would have to go to a doctor if it gets worse. She advised no nail polish for 2-3 weeks. I go to the Refresh Spa right near 96th Street for eyelash extensions with Bella. She is only in a couple days of the week, but she is just a fun, happy and extremely gifted at eyelash extensions. She also experiments with different looks until you are 100% satisfied. The salon is super clean and Fatima who oversees the salon is just so lovely, professional and kind. I love this Spa and most highly recommend it as well as their terrific staff. read more

Wish I can grade zero stars. Visited for the first time last week and NOT going back. Got pedicure and gel manicure. The technician cut the side of my finger during the manicure, without remorse or apology. In general she was very rough and unfriendly. Super bummed to write this review because most of the workers here were so kind and accommodating! The woman who does the Threading even put 3 different colored polishes (without being asked to) on her own hand to help me narrow down the right color-which has never happened in the many years I've spent getting manicures! Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review about the entirety of my services. I had a pedicure and silk manicure fill in done. The next day, my pedicure was already chipping and now (less than 5 days later), two of my silk nails are coming up. I've previously had silk nails, acrylics, and gel powder done, but I've never had a nail come up so quickly. Silk nail fillings are supposed to last for at least 2 weeks, so I'm pretty frustrated that I spent so much money to have a nice mani for less than 5 days and nice pedi for a half a day. My nail technician appeared to be very unhappy from the moment I arrived, but given the friendliness of everyone else in the salon, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to her having a bad day. However, my broken and chipped nails give me reason to believe that her mood affected the quality of the services she provided, and that's just not cool. I'm going to call and ask to come in to have my silk nails fixed (given how long they lasted). Hopefully I can then update my review with more positive comments. read more

I will say the spa is very clean and follows all of the sterilization protocols, but that's the only nice thing I can say. This salon was not a great experience for a pedicure. From the lack of knowledge of filing toenails, to paying for a spa pedicure which was supposed to include a 15 minute hot stone foot massage, that only included 3 minutes of the hot stone part, this was a real let down. The massage was really her just rubbing in lotion. Sadly, I'll have to look for another place in the neighborhood. read more

I was extremely happy with the service my daughters And I received yesterday. I needed a patch/ repair on a big toe nail - I am thrilled with it. My pedicure is excellent and so is my gel mani, also my daughters had a regular pedicure and they are excellent too. Very thorough. We walked in and didn't have to wait.
