I had 27 teeth removed for immediate dentures. The dentist pretends to care but is actually very rude. I have a very rare condition that should have been taken into account BEFORE I had them pulled. During the procedure they almost dropped a tooth down my throat! After the extractions, I developed a nasty sinus infection that has persisted for 3 months now with multiple trips to the ER. It was a direct result of having my teeth pulled. I went in for a denture adjustment and told him I had an infection and he said "what infection". Ya great dentist there. It was obvious where it was but I guess he didn't wanna deal with it. I'm on the strongest antibiotics you can get for this and if it doesn't go away after this, surgery is the next step. I will be suing if it reaches that far. UPDATE AS OF 2/28/2023: I posted originally in the beginning of November. The infection still persists. I've been to the ER twice and seen an ENT who confirmed I have a very bad sinus infection. The antibiotic the ENT gave me started to kick the infection but still didn't get it. I found out why after going to a periodontist recently. The CT scan I had done clearly shows that a tooth that was supposed to be pulled was left in my mouth and there's a pocket of infection sitting right above it, hence why I can't kick this infection. I paid for that tooth to be pulled. And it wasn't. I was lied to and screwed over causing the worst last 6 months of my life. I now have to have that tooth pulled, my gums cut into because there is a hole between my sinus floor and my gums I can pull air through so they have to be cut open for that and then I have to go back to the ENT to get rid of the sinus infection completely then go get new dentures somewhere else cause there's no way these ones will fit after all of that. Oh and I haven't even been able to wear my dentures because of all of this. I was so excited to finally have teeth again (I'm only 32 by the way) and that was shut down so fast. I seriously hope they have a good lawyer cause I'm not letting them get away with making my life a living hell for the past 6 months. And I've got every bit of proof I need. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. They just want money and will obviously do anything they need to in order to get it. UPDATE AS OF 7/3/2024 : It took me almost a year and a half to fully kick that sinus infection caused by this place. Do not believe that this place has almost a 5 star review. Fake posts are very easy to do. The people that work here are the most unprofessional group I've ever seen. On top of that, I've called them twice to have my records sent to me and have yet to get anything; not even a response. That is 100% illegal. If my records aren't sent over soon, I will call the appropriate people to make sure they are. This place is a joke. Coming from someone born with a dental condition, teeth aren't something people take being messed with kindly. It's rude, disrespectful, and just wrong. I can not even begin to express my appreciation for this dentist and the entire staff. My mom was placed in a skilled nursing facility, horrible facility who lost her dentures the night before she was discharged. My mom has had multiple strokes leaving her with vocal paralysis, dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) and vascular dementia. This created not only an inconvenience but a huge safety issue. Now not only does she have difficulty swallowing but now she can't chew her food properly. I looked on her insurance and found Regal Dentistry and several others. Regal had the best reviews and now I know why. When I initially called, just before Thanksgiving the first available appointment was December 1st. I called around to see if any other office had an earlier appointment, a few did but only by a day. I was told it would be a two to three month process to get teeth. The appointments were 1. Consultation 2. Base plate impression 3. Base plate fitting 4. Gum mold for tooth placement 5. Wax teeth fitting and then 6. Permanent teeth fitting. Well here's where Regal Dentistry knocked it out of the park. They did two appointments in a single day. They continued that momentum through the entire process. From the time of our first appointment to the time my mom got her permanent set of dentures was 16 days...yes 16 days. Now remember her teeth were lost therefore they had nothing to go off. Her teeth are beautiful. Mt mom has dementia and she doesn't show much emotion or interest in anything. She couldn't stop looking at her new smile in my cars vanity mirror. Every single person we interacted with was pleasant and accommodating. Even the appointment reminder call was pleasant. I was asked if we needed directions and was told they were looking forward to meeting us. They technicians assisting the dentist were all very kind and gentle with my mom. This review is quite long however I don't feel like I'm able to adequately express our satisfaction. Truly one of, if not my best experience to date here in Las Vegas and I've lived here 33 years. I wish I could give them 5+++ stars. I will be nominating them for Best Denist Practice when the RJ's time comes around...that's how pleased I am. I hope they see this review. While I was a patient there they suggested I do procedures that were against the recommendations of my doctor. They didn't understand the weight of what they were pushing. They mocked me for one of my medical diagnoses in front of other patients in the waiting room, and for expressing my pain during procedures. I found a new place who informed me of the poor work I had done at their office. My mother wanted to finish one procedure out with them because it was started by them. After many delays by the office, she came for the appointment to finish but they said she needed impressions again. The young unlicensed male assistant blocked her exit from the doorway of the exam room with a large machine and left it there to get someone else because she did not want to go through the entire thing again. They escalated this into an argument lying but end result the office manager emails me that her impressions were indeed "misplaced". She wanted a refund but they refused to speak to her and made fun of her when she took a BP med because it was an upsetting situation. When family came to pick up my mother, they laughed at the family and would not speak to them about the issue. Then the young unlicensed male assistant removed his jacket violently and charged at the patient family member but was held back by other employees. Then the front office head employee filmed the patient and family on her personal cell phone as she threatened to financially ruin the patient with a large bill backed by a lawyer. When my lawyer called they refused to give any information. Then the office manager emailed me-threatened to call me and my husband's places of employment to hurt our reputations -that was sourced from old patient paperwork-HIPAA violation. You need to be aware that this office does poor dental work, makes many mistakes, has unlicensed people performing procedures, and will threaten you physically, financially, scour old paperwork to get personal information on you and other things instead of admitting their mistake. BEWARE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I came here for a root canal because they were the cheapest I could find in town at the time, you definitely get what you pay for witch is trash work. You pay a cheap price of $1,500 plus for a root canal when elsewhere is 2k+ and you get trash work. I got a root canal in the end of 2021 and had issues ever since with that tooth, still have pain in the tooth, told the dentist and they just drilled down the permanent cap and say "there you go" then need to pay $60 for 1 single picture X-ray for coming back for more pain in that tooth. I woke up one morning my jaw was in so much pain under the root canal tooth only and numbness in my jaw and neck I go in again to be given a bunch of antibiotics and referred to a specialist who never gave me a call. Now I have an abscess under the tooth, the cap was not put on properly with a tight sealing fit. I'd recommend going anywhere else but here, I know it's the cheapest in town but beware. You'll pay hundreds in dental work for it all to fail and have to pay hundreds more for a professional to even try to fix the issue if it is even possible. I can't even be seen by an endodonist because they've ruined that tooth so much instead of "saving" it with a root canal how they claim. Costing me for money. Just pay the big price to get your root canals and dental work done by professionals. All the good reviews are from friends or family, this is truly a trash work place that acts as if they truly know dental work. Always rushed through the procedure to get to the next patient. I experienced the worst customer service from this dental practice, first time I made an appointment, they scheduled me a day before Thanksgiving, I went to my appointment on that day and it was closed due to holiday, upon checking with them later on, they told me they made a mistake and needed to cancel my appointment but the text didn't go through, I asked this rude lady on the phone what's the number they had, she stated my phone number correctly, so guess what? Yup, they SENT to the wrong number, not a word of apologizing for their mistake at all, I had to keep my appointment with them because it's a groupon. I did not like my cleaning service with the hygienist at all, it was very sloppy and she was unpleasant the entire time she was cleaning my teeth. Unhappy with the service, I found another new dentist later and needed Regal dental to send me my x-ray and proof of dental documentation, I spoke with this ONE nice lady from their office(yes, there's only one nice lady who works there), she told me she needed to ask others how to send it to me, unfortunately, whoever she asked was that same rude lady on the phone with me again, she started interrogating me why I needed the x-ray and documentation, she even had the balls to tell me if I need the document it will be $30 per page, wow, talk about scamming! I had a dental emergency recently with a tooth that had cracked. I had seen another dentist who could find nothing wrong, but I was in a crazy amount of pain and had already missed 2 days of work due to pain. I called around and Regal Dentistry was able to get me in within an hour of the call. When I arrived there were a few people in the waiting room and I was nervous because the kind of pain I was having was intense and although I am typically patient; I was worried the wait would be too long. I was wrong. I explained the situation to the front office and they had me back in the x-ray machine within ten minutes. From there I went straight to the chair and saw the Dr. within 15 minutes of the x-ray. Initially, the x-ray did not show much in the area where I was experiencing the pain. He did an overall exam and we talked about things I needed to have done, but he didn't see the fracture until he examined me again. It was way in the back of my teeth and did not show up on the x-ray. I was grateful because the other dentist was going to send me to a specialist and I would have had to wait another 10 days for the referral. He put me on antibiotics right away and 5 days later did a root canal. I don't know ANYONE who likes to go to the dentist, but I will definitely be a repeat customer. The front office was great. The Dr. was awesome with a good bedside manner and genuinely cared that I was in so much pain. The whole experience was good; best of my life if I am being honest. Thank you Regal Dentistry.
