Let me start off by saying I go to the theater often, as it is close to my house. But when I came in last night 2/2, my friend and I waited at the concession stand for 5 minutes before someone came out. The employee (I believe David, was is name) took my friends order, completed it and left to go in the back. We could see the manager on duty in the back eating her food through the window as we stood there. After about another 2-3 minutes later, my friend had to yell in order for the employee to come back. The employee, not the manager that saw us waiting, came back out to take my order. He was on his phone walking out and eating something. He took my order and went went to our movie. We were in was cinema 1 and my seats were G-9 and G-10. Seat G-10 is broken. The table attached to the chair does not stay closed and almost spilled all my popcorn and also the recliner made a loud noise and opened slanted and when I closed it I had to kick it to push the left side back in. I had to end up sitting in G-8 which wasn't an issue at all. And reclined perfectly and was comfy. read more

When this theatre opened about 8-10 years ago, it was stunning. But it is seats are showing it's age. Seats are peeling and many of the pairs of seats are collapsing towards the center. Basically, you're leaning toward the person in the seat pair next to you. It makes it uncomfortable to sit during a moving because you feel like you're constantly leaning. If they replaced the seats, my review would be different. read more

The theater itself (movie + sound quality, seating, experience) was outstanding. Definitely five stars. The surrounding experience is very good, but not the best. I love the assigned reclining seats with cup holders and arm rests. Very comfortable! It was a great experience to recline pretty much all the way back and still have a great view of the screen. The swing-arm tray kept getting in my way, though. The design could be improved upon. The restroom was not so great, and for the love of all things holy, please get some paper towels! Those blowers don't reduce germ levels on your hands, and most products are made from post-consumer recycled materials. Get with it, please... I hate going into (or leaving) the theater with wet hands. The price was up there, but you get what you pay for. The seats and screens command a higher price. I haven't made use of the concession stand, but the popcorn smelled good. Prices are what you'd expect there, of course. Overall, great experience. This was one of the first Regal theaters to have the luxurious reclining seats likely because it's one of the newest Regal theaters. It's generally quiet on weekdays and even weeknights but is bustling with people on the weekends. There is plenty of two-level garage parking adjacent to the theater, as well as diagonal parking, if you're lucky, right out front. There are four kiosks for buying your own tickets. The box office is outside, but sometimes the outside portion is closed and you have to go inside to guest services to buy your tickets. The theater is generally very clean, has bathrooms before you present your ticket (very useful), has arcade games, and has a huge concessions area that is usually well staffed. This is closest to my house so I frequently visit this location! Highly recommended! read more

I'm gonna have to give them an "above average" rating because you can reserve your seats here, and they have recliner seats with cup holders that come with swinging mini tables with additional cup holders. They have burgers, fries, onion rings, fiesta/jalapeño poppers, churros, icecream, chicken tenders, pretzels, pretzel bites, corn dog bites, and of course your usual movie food items. They can take 5 min. to prepare your hot food items such as onion rings and churros, so consider that when running late for a movie. read more

I enjoy going to this theater . It's always clean, the seats are comfortable, and the location is convenient. The food is good and I enjoy their reward program. Only one negative - I always take my son (3years old) and my niece (3 years old) here to see children movies. They always travel with their small toddler size bag in which always contains baby wipes and a change of clothes. Just in case they have an accident. Every time we go here we are always asked to open our bags so that they can be checked. I assume that they are checking to ensure that no one is bringing in outside food. It's very uncomfortable to be asked to open my bag so that it can be checked. I have visited many theaters, even ones that are not upscale than this one like the iPic Theater and I have never been asked to have my belongings checked. I hope management rethinks this process and discontinue asking to check bags. read more

I love this cinema! Each individual theater has only about 7 rows, but it doesn't feel small or cramped at all! Nice big screen, with big, comfy, leather reclining chairs for each seat. There is also a middle section that can be lifted, so you can get your cuddle on, in a couch-like seat. Everyone who works here is so friendly, and the entire cinema is really clean, even the bathrooms. Bonus: it's in a great location, and there are tons of restaurants and some light shopping right outside. read more

The seats were absolutely trash. We were I. Theatre 4 for the new paw patrol movie for my daughter. The screen looked like people throw drinks and freeze at it couldn't focus on the movie because it was the entire middle of the screen. The movie was supposed to start at 5:40 and didn't start until after 6. Then when it started they skipped a lot of stuff. There was still trash on floor and popcorn in the seats. When we sat down there wasn't anyone quite yet so there was no reason for it to be dirty. Just no excuse for such a bad experience when you are paying those prices. The AMC down the street is a better experience and that is saying alot. read more

I love coming to this theater, the seats recline pretty far, and there's a table attached to your seat so that you can enjoy the food. The location is also prime, right next to a parking garage and it's in the midst of lovely shopping plaza so you can walk anywhere before or after the movie. I come here all the time! read more

While in Maryland decided to go see Dwayne Johnson in Hobbs and Shaw, fast and the furious. Wanted a relaxing theater where I could enjoy some snacks in a movie with reclining seats. They have by far the comfiest chairs in the area. The theater we saw our movie in was clean, the lobby was pretty messy but it was also the end of the day so it was understandable at that time. The chairs had neat little tables that swiveled out to hold snacks, which was awesome and made the set up even comfier. The arm rests are adjustable between seats which is always nice. I will definitely be going back to this theater now that I know how nice it is. read more

Seriously - whenever I can get through an extremely long concessions line (wrapped around 3 times) in time for the main attraction I'm happy. It was a busy Friday night, the previews had started and I had about 12 minutes to get through this maze for some popcorn. I was skeptical it could happen and I hate missing any part of a movie but I was starving and willing to give it a try. And much to my delight it was a successful venture. So I say all this because I noticed other reviewers commented on the concessions being slow and needing to hire more people. Maybe they did. Or maybe they have gotten more efficient now that the theater has been open a while. Whatever it is I'll take it! Throw in the super comfy and large reserved seats too and we're happy to make the drive out to Laurel to see a movie here. I subtract one star because people tend to not sit in their assigned seats every time we go. While it's never caused a big issue for us, perhaps some signage reminding people to sit in their purchased seats or attendants inside the theater directing people to their seats would help with this problem. read more

I didn't actually see a movie here, I went to see what was playing and the movies aren't posted. There are self-serve ticket machines that will list the movies playing and the times, but they aren't actually posted anywhere. The concession stand doubles as the box office, but there are no movies listed, only the concessions. I guess you need to ask the cashier if you don't use the self-serve machine? This is a major design flaw. The movies should be listed either next to the menu behind hte counter or on the marquee. The concessions look nice and I'm sure the theater is nice, but you need to list the movie schedule for the day! read more

I always prefer to support our local businesses, so I have an affinity for this theater. Our Laurel Lakes Town Center means a lot to a community our size and I know that it is difficult for those businesses to survive with the rapid changes in consumer choices. When we first moved to the area 8 years ago, this theater was state of the art. The seats, aisle roominess, sound system were all great and the concessions were good as well. To be fair, It is quite obvious that the 2 years of being completely shut down due to Covid has taken a toll on the physical infrastructure, not to mention the ability to recruit and retain good staff. This theater is at a cross roads now, just surviving Regal's latest round of closings. If this is to survive, a significant investment in new infrastructure and work culture must take place. I also hope that they replace the screens with the type used at the Cinemark Egyptian, as the current ones look like 3D screens and lack focus. I went to at least 4 movies at this location in 2022 and as someone with a home theater, I knew the screen was not up to par, so I started going to the Cinemark Egyptian 24 and viola, the screen was fantastic. I really want the Regal Cinema to survive and want to patronize the establishment, but until I can see that ownership feels the same, I will go to the Cinemark Egyptian 24. I hate to do this, but the viewing experience makes it worth it. read more

Very clean and well staffed. The service is always very fast and I love the large recliners with a table attachment to place your food. There is plenty of space between the Isle. I usually get the nacho and cheese or pretzel bites and most theaters went with package cheese but at this Regal it's back the old fashion pour way which is hot and a better experience to me if I want package cheese I can do that at home with a Amazon fire stick lol. Oh the bathrooms are always clean which is a huge plus. They have number seats so you don't have to worry about conflicts over seating. Regal in Laurel To buy tickets here you have to go to self service or the concession stand. One stop shop. Sometimes lines are long but they move quickly. Hot food is served here a lot of different options. They are security from United Community Patrol Services inside of the Theater and I think that's a great idea I feel safe and they are very attentive and helpful and professional. We had one issue during our time here and the Manager I believe named Tony helped us out and was very helpful and fixed our issue. Kudos to him for taking pride in his job. My new favorite local theatre!! Only thing missing is a bigger food menu and *drum roll* alcoholic drinks of course! LOL BUT I can get pass that because of the other great amenities. This spot has leather reclining seats with a little swivel table that has a cup holder and space to put your food, reserved seating and it's clean. Plenty of restaurants to hit before or after a movie and a few clothing spots. Parking garage located right next to it with lots of parking. Came here during my winter break with my sissy and mom. We came to see the movie Creed, which I highly recommend. Nuts and bolts: -Big cushy seats -recliners :) -kind of ratchet crowd (during our movie there was a babbling two year old running around...) -nice ticket lady -super clean bathrooms -no popcorn on the floor -no ugly sticky floors -popcorn too expensive, even for movie theater prices -theater was freezing and I had to use my coat as a blanket lol I came on a Thursday morning and there were only 8 people in the theatre including us. Been here a few times now and my mother has always told me to tell no tales, so here goes... This theater is located in the heart of the newly renovated Laurel Town Center. Parking is hard to find if your not going to the matinée, do yourself a favor and just go to the garage. They offer a range of option to get tickets. All the options allow you to chose your seats in advance because, wait for it, LEATHER RECLINING SEATS IN EVERY THEATER! I am so in love! They even have table extensions to the arm rests which allows you to view a movie TV dinner style. I can't get enough of the sheer convenience and comfort this theater has. So I have been 3 times to date and I highly recommend the corn dog nuggets. Usually one leaves the refreshments counter feeling got, I know I do. Some how they have found the secret to decent fast food. The nuggets for example are pile high and so tasty. Truly renews my faith in theater food with every bite. Fries are good to. Oh and the wait for hot food is not excruciating unlike some other theaters I know (AMC Columbia). I am loving my neighbor boo more and more each day with businesses like this operating in my area. Brand new theater. Hope it stays as nice as it is now. This theater has the full reclining seats. The seats are paired and the middle armrest comes up if you need a little more room or want to be cozy with your date. Each seat has a movable table attached for you to put your drink and food on. These chairs are popping up in more and more places but this is the first place I've seen with these trays. Screens are nice and big, sound quality is awesome. So far they play the typical major releases you can see anywhere. I wish the popcorn butter was in a place I could use it. Most theaters have it like that now, wish they would as well. Also staff can be a little slow, but they just opened and I'm sure they are still training. Anywho, this is my new theater. MY first visit was Good! Don't quite understand why they chose to add a "box office" outside! Maybe this was done for nostalgic reasons; reminiscent of theaters of yester year, but Hey Regal, we live in the mid atlantic east coast, not California, Vegas or Arizona!! Smh/lol It won't be that appealing in weather below 40 degrees when there's a line down the sidewalk! Luckily, today that wasn't the case! They offered the usual variety of movie concession treats in addition to a few other things unlike most other theaters in the area, except for those offering full bar type menus. At least, the popcorn was "fresh". Only downfall I saw was they put the butter substitute on your popcorn behind the counter, no self serve. : ( Your seats are choosen/reserved at the box office when you select and pay for your movie. The seating chart shows the number of seats depending on the theatre size . More than likely determined by the showtime and when the movie premiered. Seats range approximately from 65 to 141 home styled theatre seats that fully recline with a foot rest and swing out tv tray for your concession food and drink. Nice added feature to make you want to come back for the confortable seating and viewing. No need to move your feet , though I did out of habit, when someone passed by to and from their seats!! Lol Only bad seats in the house are the first 3-4 rows of "up in your face" seats! Lol Get there early to choose your seats wisely! Been meaning to check this place out since moving to the area, just never had a good opportunity until last night. Went in for a LATE showing, close to midnight to make social distancing easier. Ordered tickets online and was able to pick up at the kiosk just inside. Walked in and the ticket checker was very friendly. Bathrooms were almost spotless, full soap dispensers, and sinks worked. Screens were big and clear and the volume wasn't too loud for me. The only issue I personally had was that the seats were in ROUGH shape. According to the folks I was with the seats aren't always like that and we must have been put in one of the smaller theaters. So apparently it's a gamble if you're going to be in a good seat or not. Arm rests were practically broken, leather was cracking, they were just old. That's my only legit complaint about the experience. All in all this was a nice experience compared to going to the Cinemark at Arundel Mills. Less crowds, more convenient location, clean enough. I just hope they can replace the seats soon. read more

This Regal is one of the new modern recliner theaters, with the added bonus of picking out your seat when you buy your tickets. It's nice to not have to rush to the theater and just walk in at showtime (or twenty minutes late if you want to skip the preview reel for some reason) and head straight to your open seat without having to hunt and hope. The recliners do take up more space, so that does mean fewer seats in each auditorium. I found Row B almost too close to the screen for comfort when we watched the latest blockbuster, I have no idea how those suckers in Row A could stand it. The concessions stand doesn't have a wide variety, but enough for satisfaction. As people are becoming more aware of the trash they generate, we've taken to avoiding drinks that come with straws which means eschewing fountain sodas. The other options there are bottled water, coffee, and canned energy drinks. It is located in an open air mall with a lot of dining choices, so this really seems like a great spot for dinner and a movie. You can try to park right in front of one of the shops, but you're probably better off just heading to the parking garage next door. read more

This was a ridiculously wonderful discovery after seeing the vast array of hot foods at the concession stands. Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and so much more. Be prepared to take a little longer if getting tickets at box office as these are reserved seats. You choose from a touch screen. Save some time and order online. This was my first time at this theater. I usually go to the regal cinemas in downtown Silver Spring. I like the fact that the Laurel theater offers reserved seating. It's so much more convenient when there's a new release. Of course, the reclining seats are a nice touch and the food selection is pretty good. The theater including the bathroom was very clean. The theater itself is located in the new Laurel shopping center which includes a Harris Teeters, old navy, Burlington and several eateries. My only problem with this location was the parking garage. It is dimly lit and I didn't feel safe walking to and from my car. My preference would be to park out in the open area. I would definitely recommend this theater to others. read more

I went this weekend with my family to see San Andreas, and it was not disappointing at all, the theater was clean upon entering, getting food was a little slow & pricey, but that's to be expected at the movies. My sweetheart and I went here to see the Office Christmas Party movie yesterday. The reclining lounge chair seats were very comfortable. Nice! One thing we learned with such seats is when the ticker seller lets you choose the seats, it is easy to choose a seat much closer to the screen than you thought. We got seats in the C row whereas ones in the D or E rows would have been better for us. The only glitch in our experience was that the staff left the auditorium lights on into the showing of the featured movie itself instead of dimming them out. The lights were dimmed about 10 minutes into the movie. We chalk this up to the early showing time just after Christmas. Too much eggnog the night before maybe ;-) read more

This movie theater sucks. It was disgustingly dirty with popcorn and trash all across the floor on the way to the theater. Then the seats we sat in were worn and beat up, although a little comfy. The audience during my movie was loud and so annoying it kind of ruined my experience. read more

I absolutely LOVE this movie theatre!!!! Not only is it so close to home (literally minutes away), but by far the cleanest and most comfortable I have ever been too! Can we say RECLINING SEATS?!?!?! All I need is to bring a blanket and bottle of my favorite wine!! Just kidding lol. I'm sure the cleanliness is due to the fact that its a fairly new establishment, so I'm just going to have to see if it changes as the bushiness gets older. I also like the fact that you can reserve your seats once you purchase tickets (online/at the ticket counter). My boyfriend hates when we don't make it to the movies 30 minutes before it starts, so when I'm running on Filipino time, I don't have to worry about not getting a good seat lol!! Now here's a little caveat: there is still that public squalor that will have the audacity to take your seat knowing that they didn't have that seat to begin with!! I had to call one out as she embarrassingly got up from MY seat. The food is what you would expect at the concession stand, but I always get my nachos and cheese with jalopeño peppers!!! The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile! I highly recommend this place. And either before or after the movie you can catch a bite in the town center! Don't forget to use your Regal Crown Card to get rewards on your purchases. Free tickets always sound good! read more
