Nothing fancy, but again, the views from the 19th floor were worth it! The hallway at the elevators is small and you have to get a buggy or cart for your luggage. Was chaotic during check-in and check out times. The pool was nice and often not overly crowded. The security walks regularly to make sure no one is there that shouldn't be. The beach was great. Crowded but not terribly so. Great seashell hunting!!! Biggest negative thing for me, on night two we walked to the beach to look for crabs and shells. We left our shoes along the wooden walkway, along with several others, and my discontinued croc sandals and my daughter's Birkenstocks were STOLEN. My husband's sandals were moved from atop of ours, so it was an obvious intentional theft.

The weight room, hot tub/pool area were great. The facility ground employees were fantastic. The best part of the facility is it location to the beach!!! We watched dolphins in the morning and sharks and schools of fish by the evening. We walked on the beach and swam in the ocean ALL DAY and then conveniently returned to our room for lunch and breaks. It was fantastic. Can't wait to get back!

No dusting had been done above about 4 feet, for example, tops of lamp shade were coated in dust. 3. Utensils were a mishmash of items and there were only 3 teaspoons. The handle on the large skillet is falling off. 4. The walk-in shower was old and dated - a large person would not fit and there was mold in places around the bottom. The jetted tub was so outdated I would not even get in it. 6. Not that we used it but the fan in the master closet was also coated in dust. 5. The $50.00 fee per parking pass was exorbitant, especially for 4 days and off season. Was not expecting an additional $100 expense.

When I arrived, I was gonna purchase one for my daughter and her family, Crystal at the front desk. Informed me only one parking pass was available. She informed me they could either park down the street and pay in a parking lot, or go across the street and park in a parking lot or street parking for free. We get up the next morning and my daughter's vehicle has been towed, $350 to get it back. I go to management. She tells me east side is only allowed one parking pass. You can't even purchase a second one ever. And Crystal has informed people wrong in the past the free parking was three blocks away on the main boulevard. And they would not refund $350 so when booking with islands winds east be aware of your parking.

We were all excited because in the past all the condos have been awesome, but this one was a let down. We walked in with a few groceries, opened the fridge and we were about knocked down with the smell of spoiled seafood! I went down stairs to the check in counter to complain, and the fella was very helpful trying to get the issue fixed. He called the supervisor of the cleaning company and that man started hollering at him over the phone about what all I had complained about. The fella then gave me the phone to explain what wall I was saying, the cleaning supervisor then said that everything was inspected and it was fine. I told him to come and look and smell. He agreed in sending someone but nothing changed for the 5 night/6 days we were there. Phoenix Orange Beach #401, lacked in cleaning as well. The kitchen had nothing but small "glass" glasses to drink out of and with kids ages 3-16, 4 of them being 10 and under plastic glasses would have been much safer. The beds were comfortable, slept well but the rooms that had views to the outside only had sheer curtains and didn't block the early morning sun. The decor wasn't like the the other condos that we have stayed in in the past. The outdoor pool was extremely small to accommodate the guests. The laundry area about knocked me for a loop, you'll see in the pictures I post. The walk to the beach was just a little short jaunt which was great! That's probably the best thing about this property! Oh and the ice machine on this property is $5.00 a bag!

The resort has direct beach access and incredible Gulf views, but the amenities really set it apart. There are multiple indoor and outdoor pools, lazy rivers, a splash pad, and an awesome four-story waterslide. The condos are spacious, and having a private hot tub and grill on your Gulf-front balcony is hard to beat. There are also plenty of other activities, including tennis, pickleball, putting greens, fitness facilities, and poolside food and drinks. Turquoise Place gives you the space and privacy of a beachfront condo with the amenities of a high-end resort. After two great stays, we would absolutely come back again!

The interior was honestly creepy. (I'll post a video.) For paying $880 for 3 days, I expected a little better. I wouldn't consider this a low budget stay at that price. If your only priority is easy beach access and you don't care much about the condition or appearance of the room, then this may work for you. What I'd recommend bringing if staying: Bathroom * Large bath towels * Washcloths/face towels * A bath mat for outside the tub * Extra toilet paper Kitchen * Extra dish soap or dishwasher pods if you plan to cook, because you're expected to wash your dishes. * A few extra trash bags since you're required to take the trash out at checkout. I also recommend washing the bedding and bringing plenty of laundry detergent. Our room had a strong, unpleasant odor that reminded me of a house that hadn't been properly maintained. If you like a clean, fresh-smelling room, bring air freshener or plug-ins. The bed was my least favorite, convenient for storing suitcases underneath. The pillows were flat and were the worst I've ever slept on, so I'd definitely bring your own. The condo does have a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishes, and beach access, which are the biggest positives. About 36 rooms faces the beach, but many of the other rooms are interior-facing. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or a true beach-view room, I wouldn't recommend this property. It was advertised as having an ocean view, but our room did not have one. I saw only two elevators for a three-story building, and they were extremely slow. The room was outdated, the furniture was outdated, and even all three lamps were different. The electrical outlets were so worn out that plugs would fall right out. Limited plugs int he room but did have a surge protector. The bathroom only had four very thin, dingy bath towels and a few worn washcloths, so I highly recommend bringing your own towels or buying some. The $35 parking fee was also ridiculous for paying guests. Overall, We made the best of it because we came to enjoy the beach, but the room itself irritated my soul. Between the smell, outdated condition, , uncomfortable bed, and extra fees, I would not stay here again. The inside look and feel scary. like you're about to be incarcerated or a mental institution not vacationing. If beach access is all you care about, you'll be fine. But if you're expecting a cozy, relaxing condo for what they charge, prepare to be disappointed unless you get a better room than we had.

I was afraid to make coffee due to the coffee maker being rusted, toaster was worn, couch looked as if it was 10+ years old, beds were very small and uncomfortable, linen was thin, and the bathrooms entirely too small. In the "primary room" the closet was bigger than the bathroom and the smell is very musty but could be because of the age of the building. Also the iron needs to be thrown in the garbage. The iron shake and is a fire hazard. Staying next door at the Phoenix next time.
