Very sad this Theater is closing. Wanted to archive some of it for my last visit. Hope this helps anyone in the future. It was very lovely. The food brought to the chairs was delicious too. The chicken strips were $14 same with the boneless wings. Super sad to see this go as it is the heart of the commons. Farewell Regency Theaters!

The last time I've been to this location, Regal owned it so it's been a minute! It doesn't seem like much has changed since Regency took over. I always thought this has been one of the nicer theaters I've been to and it still holds true. It's definitely not as popular as others so there's less people here (workers and customers). Theater is well-maintained, reclining seats work just fine, sound is good, restrooms are clean- what's not to like?

I go to this movie theater only because it is in walking distance of my house. However, it disappoints me that they charge $1. 50 for an extra little cup of jalepeno peppers. I spend $1. 50 on extra cheese as it is. It would be nice to get a sufficient amount of condiments to go with the amount of nachos you get as opposed to nickel and diming. Also I thought the sound could have been louder.

If you are handicapped, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!…read moreThey DO NOT take handicapped people into consideration when it comes to parking and accessibility. There are only about FIVE handicapped parking spaces among roughly 100 parking spaces. There should be at least 10 handicapped spaces available. As a handicapped person myself, I was very disappointed. I also personally observed elderly people with walkers struggling to get to the movie theater because they had to park on the other side of the mall and walk through the mall just to get to the movies. That is simply too much for some seniors and people with disabilities. Mind you, not every handicapped person or senior citizen has the extra money to pay for valet parking. And even with valet parking, you still have to walk a distance just to get to the theater. I am an AMC A-List and Premiere member, so I support AMC and go to the movies regularly. Personally, I will continue going to AMC Porter Ranch. It is convenient, there are tons of restaurants nearby, and most importantly, there are more handicapped parking spaces available. And this isn't only something the movie theater should think about--the MALL should also take a serious look at its accommodations for handicapped and elderly guests. Accessibility should not be an afterthought. Even when going to the social areas of the mall, accessibility needs to be considered. Is the social experience only supposed to be for young, able-bodied adults? Seniors and people with disabilities want to go out, socialize, eat, shop, and enjoy entertainment too! We should not have to struggle just to participate. If you are handicapped, elderly, use a walker, or have difficulty walking long distances and you want a more accessible movie-going experience, I recommend AMC Porter Ranch. AMC and the mall, PLEASE DO BETTER. Handicapped people and senior citizens deserve the same opportunity to comfortably enjoy a day at the movies, dinner, shopping, and the social experience. ACCESSIBILITY IS FOR EVERYONE.

Greetings to all film makers, cinema enthusiasts, and TV viewers:…read more I attended Panavision's Panafest in October 2007 which was very educational and very enlightening regarding learning how to operate the new 2008 film cameras, sound, and editing formats. While attending Panafest, Panavision showed several fim and video sequences where each cinematic viewer made individual determinations whether the film clip shot was either film or video footage. Pertaining to non-camera industry people: The movie making process is amping up to the highest levels of cinematic productions. What does this mean to cinematic movie attendees and TV viewers? The visual images shown on-screen will be more crisp, clean, and the colors far more vivid tham previous films exhibited. So, get ready to view the new 2008 movies shown at your local cinema theaters and also, please notice the difference with TV shows' productions values soar which will definitely show more impact on-screen. BTW: Panavision's has a film retail store and a retail coffee shop inside where you may buy some coffee, snacks, film production T-shirts, jackets, and other film memorabilia. Have fun learning about film making at Panavision . . . I am confident Panavision will change your views of the way you see film and TV productions in the future. Please call Panavision one month in advance to schedule a tour of the studio.

Despite the older structural look, Cinemark did retroactively install electronic Luxury Lounger reclining seats in the auditoriums. Because it sits slightly off the beaten path compared to the massive Regal over at the NoHo West complex, this Cinemark is famous locally for being a quiet, uncrowded haven during weekday matinees. We went to watch "Backrooms" a creepy movie about a dimension with endless luminal spaces. The theaters halls matched the movies vibe perfectly! After we finished the movie and walked out, It felt like we had stepped into the horror movie itself, large empty, completely silent theater that's something creepy you notice about this theater how completely silent it is other places play, soft music, especially in the bathrooms. We saw it in theatre 5 and upon viewing other reviews, SOMEONE ELSE had this same exact issue/experience in the same theatre 10 days prior! Meaning there was no extensive cleaning done at all. On top of that, I hated that the screen for our movie was up so high you needed to crane your neck up to watch the movie even when being fully reclined back all the way in the seats. The popcorn was stale with no flavoring and I put a bit of butter because I didn't want too much fats. The pepperoni pizza was surprisingly good and cooked well. However, the rest of the experience made this movie theatre a 1 star for me instantly.

As a first time visitor, the street access, parking and location of the cinema was somewhat unclear. But once I found the downstairs location, it gave pleasant impressions of a simpler 80's/90's time of moviegoing without today's sometimes excessive extra amenities. This feeling was further reinforced upon seeing their offerings of previously used film posters for free taking away, bringing back great memories of old video stores and sometimes cinemas that would give that same special opportunity to patrons. Inside, the vibe is a bit worn, but still welcoming, and the pricing seems to be slightly more modest than one might expect. The film I chose was on a larger screen. The sound was not fabulous, especially for a dialogue heavy film. It was surprising to see the seats had not been upgraded to the popular recliner style. But this also fit with the laid back slightly retro vibe of the place. I hope they continue to offer curated choices for a good while to come.

But I am SO GLAD I was recently afforded the opportunity to finally check it out when I was granted tickets to a screening/Q&A of Omaha. They only have 1 screen but I loved how it's a great balance between vintage + modern. Usually with the former, you expect uncomfortable seats but I found these to be quite comfortable, with plenty of legroom and good stacking of rows so that your view isn't compromised. The theater itself is spacious AND gorgeous in its own right. May sound silly but I also judge movie experiences considering concession - here, although there are only a couple of operators, they run the lines efficiently and their popcorn is fresh and tasty (even when the butter topping is administered on their end). I could see required street parking being a challenge but I haven't had an issue in the surrounding areas that time, or since. Yes, after this screening I signed up for the Landmark Theatres loyalty program because I knew I'd definitely be back. And already have, for another Q&A (the film Forge). I love that they screen indie films and extend opportunities like this for fairly reasonable prices.

My friends and I wanted to see the movie "Obsession" we were early for the show since it was going to start at 1:30pm. So since we don't drink alcohol, we killed time by the concession stand and got small popcorn, a hot dog and we shared. Once we walked into the movie theatre, it was SPOTLESS CLEAN!! Also the bathrooms and the lobbies all around. The sound system was dynamite, seats were so comfortable, had a small table with a cup holder and the recliner chairs were very comfortable with a back rest and a leg rest. Underground parking validated for 4 hours if you validate at the movie theatre. If you validate it at any restaurants it's only for 2 hours.
