I would give 0 if I could! For the 3rd time in the last 6 months, we called a ahead to see if they were serving a full menu (knowing they run out of food often). We had 11 people out for a post Christmas family dinner - 5 kiddos. They said 'we have a full menu, come on in!' We got there (15 mins later) - they had no wraps, no cheese sauce (= no Mac n cheese, no sauce for dipping pretzels or onion rings, no nachos), & no onion rings. Don't waste your time for dinner!! Have visited Reilly's pub a few times over the years but after this visit, it's apparent the new management has taken great strides to improve the food and the experience. Our party of 12 was seated quickly, orders taken promptly and food delivered in a timely fashion. Most importantly, the food was exceptional. One in our party stated it was the best corn beef he had ever had and my black and blue burger was perfection. As others have commented, the cheese curds and pretzels in particular are delicious. Overall, I'd stick to the seafood, sandwiches and burgers as the pizza is only average. Finally, Laurie, our server, was incredibly patient with all the kids in our party and we appreciated her efficiency and demeanor. read more

Terrible food and even worst service. Staff needs training and so do the cooks. New owners said everything would change, but NOTHING has. Guess they don't care because many of the patrons are tourists and won't come back anyway. Sucks for us locals looking for a good meal. read more

Overall I think this is a pretty cool place, nice setting, but maybe not the best place to go on a crowded Friday night for fish. We ended up waiting about an hour to be seated once we got a table service was still very slow which was strange considering by that time the place was emptying out. Sat at a table with a vent shooting cold air right onto your legs, had to put the girlfriends purse on top of it, so that was a first. Good stuff = Reilly Roll and New Glarus Rasberry Tart on tap. Bad stuff = Fish fry was soggy and luke warm. I need hot and crispy for my fried fish. I know they have good burgers so I think from now on maybe I'll stay away on Friday nights and just hit this place up for a burger and beer during the week if I'm in the area. read more

We have been going to Reilly's for years. They have gone through some changes. Our last couple visits to Reilly's have been very good. The Friday fish fry is very good. The Cajun style is excellent. The last visit I tried their Rueben and it was excellent. Overall the food in the last few months has been very good. Service is good and never a wait longer than 20 minutes for a table. read more

What a huge change in staff attitude. They are there to serve you and make your visit a very enjoyable one. The specials seem to change frequently what a great variety. Along with their standard menu of Irish cuisine. There is something for everyone. The food is great. The outside patio is a great way to enjoy the summer day and be able to look at the lake. Reilly's Pub on the southwest end of Big Green Lake is a true "must" if you are traveling in this area. The food is excellent, and the entire staff is cheerful and accommodating. The Reilly's Pub experience truly gives you the feeling of dining in Ol' Dublin! The interior is spacious and inviting, there is an outside patio space for dining & conversation, and the picture window view of Big Green Lake is gorgeous! Reilly's menu is extensive, featuring many Irish cuisines as well as some of the restaurant's own creations. The varied appetizer menu includes such items as Deep Fried Beer Battered Cheese Curds (a Wisconsin tradition), Irish Nachos, and my favorite, Pub Pretzels (warm soft buttery breadsticks with a side dish of beer cheese soup for dipping). Lunch and dinner entres include specialty burgers, fish & chips, Irish stew, as well as traditionals such as tenderloin, pasta, chicken, and ribs. At the bar, you will find a variety of bottled beers & ales in addition to 15 specialty tap brews. With specials running daily, there is certainly something on the menu for everyone! Reilly's also features special events throughout the year, such as live bands (both indoor and outdoor) and tailgate parties. Third and last visit. Always seem to have an excuse as to why they are out of something. Was wanting a good bar burger and was disappointed. Undercooked and mushy patty. After being told what they were out of, my wife settled on the Mac and Cheese. After 10 minutes she was told that the cook had just started heating the water and it would take at least a half hour before the water would even be hot. Poor kitchen management for sure. At least the bartender was personable. read more

Walked in around 2 in the afternoon for a couple beers to go as my wife and often walk the dog here and back. The bar was 3/4 full of what seemed to be snowmobilers. So I stood and waited long enough to make eye contact with the bartender and also to watch as others come in and sit at the bar. When the bartender ignored me and went to server others I left. This is not the first time I've had issues with service but will be the last. From no perch on a Friday evening to terrible bar service, Reilly's really has gone down hill. In my opinion its time for the owners to take a long hard look at their business and decide whether they should step it up or move on. And when I see the owner(s) next I will make them aware of how I feel. read more

The food is fantastic and you're right near the lake. On the south shore Reilly's is our go-to restaurant - everything we had was good including the haddock, reuben, green salad, french fried greenbeans, and more. And you can watch the sun set over the lake as you dine. read more

Greatly disappointed with service and food. Waited 10 min to get seated in the dining area where there were plenty of open tables. Our experience with Wisc restaurants is you are always well fed. We ordering, the waitress checked on us once after 20 min & said the food would out shortly when she finally gave us silverware/napkin. Tt took 40 min for any food to arrive. It was a Friday so we ordered the special "fish fry." The haddock was like fish sticks, the baked potato was small w/1 pat of butter, 1 sm scoop of not-homemade cole slaw, but the unbelievable part was a piece of rye bread that was 2"x3" (max) and they were the ends of the loaf. It was a joke. The Guiness batter shrimp tasted like a smoked/burnt flavor and it was weird. We'll never return. We still laugh about the ridiculous size of rye bread. Also, their prices were higher than the country club in Green Lake (next town). Don't waste your time or money. It's a place to drink, not eat. read more
