By far the BEST grooming my boys has gotten. When we dropped them off she said it'll take time because she is very careful. Hearing that already told me my boys will be in good hands. And they were! Haircut was PERFECT! Nails PERFECT! Teeth PERFECT! No nicks or cuts! Skin did not have dandruffs and they smelled sooooo GOOD! I am very happy and grateful for the outstanding care provided. She's easy to schedule with and communicates ahead of time when they're ready to be picked up. My only complaint (not for her) but for the other clients is that they pick up their pup on time so it doesn't delay other appointments. Groomers and myself have a hard time trimming them, because shes had a bad experience and ever since it's been tough. They told us to come 09/01 to bring her in for her cleaning. We bring her and front desk told us she'll possibly be done by 3pm. We get a call that there were other pets that had emergencies. We completely understand, but now she'd be done or out by 6-7pm. This entire process took us 12 hours. While her being under anesthesia would be the best outcome for a dog since they wouldn't be moving, they did not care AT ALL about her quicks. I understand that vets/vet techs are challenged with dark nails. But nails were shaven down extremely too short and uneven. She bled on all her nails. It sucks for those who also had a bad experience, everything in front desk felt absolutely rushed. We were speaking to too many different people at a time. Im also unsure if they treated her well during her dental cleaning if this is what her nails look like. I haven't gotten to look at her teeth yet since she's been exhausted after her appt yesterday. I will probably update, or not. I'm not returning to this place.

Medical Pet was the only one that answered and even though they were fully booked and closing in less than an hour, they still squeezed my doggy in and saw her. I was so happy when I arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating and wonderful. The clinic is very clean and has parking out front. Only about 10 mins from the border. I paid $160USD for the initial visit which covered the check-up, x-rays, and medications. Extremely affordable and fair pricing. My dog already had stitches on her cheek from another incident and the doctor offered to take them out at a later date. I went back a week after and they didn't charge me anything. She got her stitches at another vet in Poway (we paid $1100 for that visit, NEVER AGAIN). I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be bringing my puppies here for any veterinarian needs.

I took my senior maltipoo here after a family friend recommended them for dental work. I went early…read moreon a Monday morning and was the first customer there when they opened. I used Google Translate to explain to the medical staff his issues (heart murmur/failure, horrible teeth). Then the veterinarian that spoke English arrived and saw him. He explained what they would do and I left him there for a couple hours. They extracted 3 teeth and cleaned his remaining teeth and gave aftercare medicine and instructions! Wabi is doing great and his remaining teeth look amazing! This was at a fraction of the cost of the quotes I got from his vet in OC. They only take cash! Highly recommend! Pro tip - if you have global entry, register your car so you can take the fast sentri lanes. I went back to SD to eat breakfast with family while I waited for Wabi to be ready. Also, try to go on a weekday since they don't take appointments and it's first come, first served. If they are busy they may make you come back another day for the procedure. If you think your dog may need to undergo anesthesia - refrain from giving them food/water before you visit.
