Start this by saying I'm from Mexico and my Husband is from Venezuela so this was a completely new flavor to us but we'd been craving to try Egusi soup and finally found this place to have it and it did not disappoint! We had Egusi Chicken and Jollof rice with beef plantain both so delicious and you could taste the homemade flavor. Wow!

I was in the area and hungry. I was recommended to try out this restaurant and let's just say everything was so good. I got there just as they opened so I was the only on there. Ordering was easy as I had Nigerian for before and I had an idea of what I wanted to eat. The young lady at the front was helpful in my ordering process. I ordered egusi, side of jollof rice, stewed goat and pounded yam. The decor of the restaurant is modern and aesthetically pleasing. Clean and upbeat. I sat on the couch and waited for my order to be ready then took it to go. I ate as soon as I got home and the flavors was just right. A little spicy but I can take the heat. The goat was a bit tough and I would recommend them cooking it longer so it's tender. The portions are great. I would highly recommend trying them out for a change of your usual.

In awe of this place. The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was a good vibe.

I came here with my boyfriend for the first time on Saturday. I am originally from MA and have been craving Nigerian food for a while. They have really good Nigerian restaurants in Boston so I was hoping to find a really good one in South Florida too. What I really wanted was some good fufu and Stew. We tried the Egusi stew and pounded yams (fufu). It was very flavorful and tasty! We ordered it with no meat but kept the red sauce. My boyfriend really loved the red sauce and ordered another bowl of it separately to dip his fufu in. We also ordered the Ogbono stew (made with mango seeds). It is extremely nutrient dense but neither of us enjoyed the flavor. I would absolutely go back for the egusi stew! It was the best part. Also, it was very quiet on the Saturday afternoon when we went. The restaurant was spacious, quick customer service, nice African art, and very clean.

Not our first time having Nigerian food. But this place by far the best here in South Florida. I drove about 45 minutes to a hour to get my food. It was hot, fresh, tasty and more. Good prices and good quality of food. Yes I will be back and will definitely recommend it.

This…read morewas one of those meals that stays with you, because everything came together so beautifully. The food was wonderful from start to finish, and the atmosphere made the experience even more special. There was something about the ambiance that took me right back to France, to those moments of breaking bread with my North African friends, surrounded by warmth, conversation, and the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel familiar the moment you walk in. I felt right at home. Fatima deserves special recognition. She was so kind to me and made me feel completely welcome. Her presence was gentle, warm, and sincere, and it elevated the entire experience. It honestly felt like I was being looked after at my Moroccan auntie's house. That kind of feeling cannot be faked, and it means a great deal. As for the food, it was amazing. The pastilla with chicken and almonds, dusted with sugar and cinnamon, was absolutely delicious, with that beautiful balance of savory richness and gentle sweetness that makes the dish so memorable. The msemmen was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The merguez tajine was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The Moroccan harira had that soulful, nourishing quality that makes a great soup feel like part of the heart of the meal. The zaalouk was excellent as well, rich and flavorful and a perfect addition to everything else on the table. Dar Tajine gave us more than a meal. It gave us an experience filled with warmth, flavor, generosity, and heart. The food was amazing, the hospitality was genuine, and Fatima made a lasting impression. This place deserves real praise, and I would gladly return.

Been a fan of this place on Facebook for years so had to check it out since I was so close…read more Saturday afternoon was busy with all tables being used, I was prepared to eat outside but I was thoughtfully sat at the bar to avoid the scorching heat. I specifically went there for the Indian samosas and the Russian and slap chips. My spouse is South African and although we have tried several times to make slap chips we can't quite get it right. Food came quickly and was nice and hot, the samosas were perfect, spice level and crispness of the pastry. Russian and slap chips were delicious as well. I got to meet and chat to both of the owners who were very friendly. Would love to come back if we move down to Florida.

Very disappointed with this experience…read more This was my third time purchasing biltong from this business. I spent approximately $150 on five slabs because I was purchasing them as a gift for someone else. There is an important detail that I want to clarify because the owner's response does not accurately describe what happened. I actually placed this order online. When I went to pick it up, I had to wait approximately 20 minutes for the order to be prepared. The biltong was still not vacuum-sealed when I received it. The owner later stated that online orders are vacuum-sealed because they may spend several days in transit. That makes this situation even more frustrating because this WAS an online order. If I had been told that my order was not going to be vacuum-sealed, I absolutely would have requested it, especially because I was sending the biltong to someone else as a gift. I was also a repeat customer. This was my third purchase from the store, and my previous biltong purchases had been vacuum-sealed without me having to specifically request it. I therefore had no reason to believe I suddenly needed to ask for something that had been done with my previous purchases. I took the biltong home and refrigerated it as instructed. Within approximately three days, all five slabs developed extensive mold, including green mold. I contacted the business because I had spent $150 on a product that I could no longer comfortably give as a gift. The owner called me back and told me they would not replace the biltong because it should have been kept refrigerated. The problem with that explanation is that it WAS refrigerated. The business later explained that the biltong is made without preservatives, that proper refrigeration is required, that they perform monthly quality-control testing, and that they cannot control how a perishable product is handled after it leaves their possession. I understand that a business cannot control everything after a product leaves the store. However, I followed the refrigeration instructions, and I contacted them only about three days after receiving the product. I was not asking for a replacement months later. I was reporting extensive mold, including green mold, on a $150 purchase almost immediately after receiving it. There is also a contradiction in the explanation regarding vacuum sealing. I was told online orders are vacuum-sealed because they can spend several days in transit. My order was an online order, yet it was not vacuum-sealed. I even waited approximately 20 minutes for the order, and nobody told me that the slabs would not be vacuum-sealed or that I needed to specifically request it. Had I known, I would have absolutely requested vacuum sealing because I was sending the biltong to someone else. I am not claiming that I can personally determine exactly what caused the mold. I am stating the facts of my experience: this was an online order, I spent approximately $150 on five slabs as a gift, I waited for the order to be prepared, the slabs were not vacuum-sealed, I refrigerated them as instructed, and within approximately three days they developed extensive mold, including green mold. As a repeat customer, I expected better communication and better customer service. Instead, I was left with $150 worth of biltong that I could not comfortably give as a gift, and the business refused to replace it. I am posting this review so potential customers can have the complete picture and make their own decision.
