We arrived a few minutes early to complete some paperwork. My friend paid extra so we would be the only ones in the cave since she was getting a full body massage. I put on socks provided by the spa and headed into the cave. Upon entering, I was in awe of the salt cave. I immediately felt lighter. The music and water helped set the tone for total relaxation. The spa associate told us the owner was from Poland. She purchased all the salt on the floor from the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland. And the salt on the walls and ceiling (mixture of salt and plaster) came from the Himalayan mountains in Pakistan. Salt has many health benefits and aids the respiratory system. She told us to take deep breaths while inside the cave. Jesse was my massage therapist and performed reflexology on my feet and hands for one hour. I could feel his work all the way up my legs and into my hips. It felt amazing. I didn't fall asleep, but I was in a deep meditative state. The salt air circulates through the massage therapy rooms, which is great for your respiratory and nervous systems. The facility itself is super clean and welcoming. I asked for a refund of my "hold fee" and was told it would be credited the next day. It's been nearly 6 months - I've attempted to call and email the owner multiple times and she avoids talking with me, leaving her poor employees to divert the call. I was able to book same day for the kids room for both of my kiddos and I have to say it was a great experience. We felt super welcomed by the staff and the owner, Felicia. The kids room is filled with toys and books for the kids to play with but honestly they are so in awe of the salt that's all they wanted to play with when we had our session. It was really cool. The kids really loved the experience and even begged to go back as soon as we were done. I do want to return and get a couples massage with my husband in the future. They even do salt during massage sessions and I heard it's lovely. We are still waiting on the benefits of the experience as both my kids are still battling their coughs but I am sure we would see a difference after a few sessions. We shall return :)

During my salt session I could immediately feel my sinuses opening up and my head unclogging. The blankets and chairs in the salt room were so comfortable and soothing. After my session I was introduced to Felicia the owner. What a gem of a human. She is not only passionate about creating a great space for her customers I noticed how kind she also was to her staff. I did not have the time to try the infrared sauna or a massage session but I'll definitely be back. Oh, and I look forward to doing a salt yoga session if I'm ever in town on a Thursday night.
