A huge thank you to Georgette and Sophie for taking such amazing care of us during our meal, and to Patrick for being so friendly and helping us take some great pictures! The entire staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and welcoming. Before you even reach the restaurant on the third floor, you walk through their interior design space, which is absolutely gorgeous. Once you get upstairs, the indoor dining area is highly aesthetic, and the outdoor seating is beautiful, too. The only minor downside is that the indoor dining area was a bit loud--not quite what you'd expect for a fancy restaurant, but it wasn't a dealbreaker since we could still easily hold a conversation at our table. As for the food, it is definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely delicious! I think their wine is too expensive for a glass but the food kind of makes sense. * Starters: We had the Haas avocado caviar and the Buretta. Definitely make sure to order some starters because they set the bar high! I am still dreaming about that caviar--it was easily my favorite. * Entrees: We ordered the Salmon, roasted chicken, and steak frites. Everything was cooked beautifully. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Big shoutout again to Georgette and Sophie--we'll be back for them! According to the Store staff it is not advisable to attach glides to these chairs....I suspect it is that the legs are too thin. I bought several sets of sheets too, and the quality and feel is better than I've purchased before. I want to specifically acknowledge Danielle and Jasmine. Danielle is the designer I'm fortunate to work with, and she's gone above and beyond. My main room is a bit awkward and my thoughts fluid, but with her patience and skill, we've created an amazing blueprint and placed orders for lovely pieces with more to come. It's been a delight. Jasmine is lovely, she's been very helpful and effective in facilitating solutions, invested and active in making sure everything goes smoothly, while also being so warm and interested in my projects. I am 81 years old and visually impaired from past cataract surgery. In November 2025, the owner sat in my living room and walked out with a $4,300 deposit check to reupholster a 20-year-old leather couch--an unjustifiable total quote of $8,600. For context, a comparable brand-new couch retails for under $2,000. I canceled the job within one week. Before the couch was ever picked up. Before a single material was ordered. Before one minute of labor was performed. They kept every single penny of my $4,300. I sued them in small claims court (Santa Clara County Case No. 26SC097661--a public record anyone can verify). In my sworn claim, filed months before trial, I explicitly stated I was never provided a written contract. Yet, at trial, the business conveniently produced a document containing a strict non-refundable clause that I had never laid eyes on. The signature resembled mine, but the only item I recall signing that day was my check. The judge strictly enforced their paperwork, meaning this business successfully and legally stripped an 80-year-old of $4,300 in exchange for absolutely zero work. Those are the documented facts. Look up the public record and draw your own conclusion. A final warning to families: If this owner is ever sitting in your mother or father's living room, do not let them sign a single document or write a check that day. My lesson in their business ethics cost me $4,300. Do not let your parents be next.

I forgot her name but her attitude was not forgettable. She didn't know where a lot of the items were in the store and had to go to the computer to look it up. Since she would take so long, I'd walk around the store to look around and I'd hear her exclaim out loud to other associates "Where's my client?? Why am I chasing my clients around the store all day today?" I explained to her I was looking around as I was waiting for her. She gave me a wry smile. After I quickly tried to go off on my own since she wasn't helpful, I heard her talking about someone's sexuality with other associates as I was leaving. She was laughing about them "probably being a furry." I felt uncomfortable and quickly left. To be fair, some of the other salespeople I interacted were nice and helpful. It may be a hit or miss depending on who you get.

NEVER shop at Flegels!…read more In 2017 for our outdoor patio, we purchased Kingsley Bate painted teak patio table and chairs from Flegels. We kept the table covered when it wasn't in use. In 2019, the paint started to blister. In my attempt to get this rectified, KB told me that Flegels had to file a report on my behalf. KB also informed me that they only recommend the painted teak for covered patios. Flegels refused to do anything. The owner's son, Brian, was rude and refused to listen to these facts: 1. When we bought the expensive teak furniture, the Flegel's sales person did not tell us to expect the paint would blister. 2. The 2017 catalog does not mention that painted teak tables were only to be used under covered patios. The owner's son said he had more valued customers who spend much more money than we did, and he didn't want my business. His statement dumbfounded me. We spent over $5000 on this patio furniture. But even if we had only spent $500, I would have expected respectful and responsive customer service.
