On my way to work, a rock hit my windshield and left a quarter size chip. When I got to work at 8am, I called and spoke with Chris who got my insurance on the line as well. After handling the claim with my insurance, he scheduled a tech, Justin, to come out to my office that same morning! Justin arrived even a little early and was super fast filling the chip. He even filled a small one for me that I wasn't even aware of. He did an awesome job, looks as good as I hoped for. Ive had 6 different cracks and chips repaired from this shop since, each time i was in and out under 30min. I swear, the repairs are done so well, they could last for the duration of the car itself Today, i got a new windshield put on, as a rock cracked my windshield in half. The craftsmanship has always been on point. They did everything I asked, such as finding a stock windshield for the make of my car. The windshield looks like it came straight from the dealership. Okay. First off, I hate writing reviews on my favorite places because then EVERYbody will start going there. Secondly, I hate NOT writing reviews on my favorite places because I WANT everybody to go there. All of that being said, I've been here WAY too many times for auto glass replacement. John was my latest hero when I called because my car was broken into. Not only did the thieves take all our stuff, but they felt a need to break TWO windows. (I hate crack heads.) I called Reliable, John got the two windows ordered, told me to come in a little early to start the "clean up" process. His timing was impeccable!!! I was in and out of there in less than an hour and a half. Let me repeat that. I called at 10:00am. Got an appointment for 1:30 (with parts/glass being ordered on a Friday). I left with two new windows at 2:45. All for a VERY reasonable price. I CANNOT recommend them highly enough!! When you call them (and you should if you're looking for auto glass companies), tell John, Brad, or Mark (I think) that Jodi said "Hi"!! read more

My windshield was broken at Quick Quack carwash, I called Reliable and they had the glass in stock with same day installation. Upon arrival I was told by their tech Justin that I would need to remove my light bar because "it was above his paygrade" and was asked to pull the Jeep around back into the shop. After doing so another tech gathered the tools to remove the lightbar and I told him I will be just a minute to remove it. He said "don't worry we'll get it" and proceeded to remove the lightbar. Great all done new glass. Justin apologized for the comment and all done. Well two weeks later I turn on my lightbar and nothing, check the fuse and relay all good, grab the wire and its not connected. Entire mount will need to be removed to reconnect. Called Reliable to see when they could fix the issue and was told " can't you do it ?" "not our responsibility" "we removed it as a courtesy and we will not be able to remove the mount and reconnect the lightbar". Been using this company for work and personal for years. Never again. Very poor customer service. read more

I took my seriously cracked windshield to these guys based on a suggestion from Rich over at Sierra Auto Body. He told me they were the best and he was right. They had the windshield my 2002 Prius needed in stock and in less than an hour it was finished. They also polished the yellowed headlights with some sort of miracle solution for free. When I read lots of perfect reviews for a company, try them and have a bad experience, I can't help but have suspicions about the legitimacy of the reviews. I don't write on Yelp much or make "friends," so my review may end up in the "not recommended" section (one star reviews often seem to end up there too), but mine is a genuine review from an unhappy customer. Based on the great reviews and a coupon Reliable put in a mailer waiving the insurance deduction, I used them to replace my windshield. Reliable cancelled the first appointment at my home 10 minutes before they were to show. The second time their installer did come and wanted to pull my car from where it is parked next to the garage to the front of the garage to do his work. It took an hour for the install, installer then drove my car back to its usual parking space and brought the key and paperwork to the door. So far, so good. He told me to let the windshield sit for 12 hours so the glue could harden, then take off some plastic. That evening at 9:00 pm as instructed, I went out to take the plastic off the car. I saw that the light inside the car was on. The installer had left the passenger door open, killing my battery. So far, not so good. I live in the boonies and had to get a friend to come out and jump me. As I started to drive the car, I saw all these tiny dots all over the windshield when the sun shined on it. I thought, what's that? It seemed like glue. I couldn't get it off with a rag or my fingernail. I called Reliable to complain about the dead battery and the glue. They didn't apologize for the dead battery. (Really, not even a "sorry for the inconvenience"?) They claimed the dots were sap from the trees over my car. I'd never seen this on my windshield before. Then it rained and some of the dots came off. Anyone knows sap is not water soluble. Since there were still dots on the car, I drove to Auburn's Reliable to show them. Some guy came out and said, "Yep, it's sap," and cleaned the windshield with a razor and spray. I showed him many of the dots were still there. He said, "It's on the inside," and then cleaned that. Showed him the dots were still there and he threw the can of cleaner on the passenger floor of my car and said, "Here, have some free windshield cleaner," and walked away. In other words, I'm done with you. If a guy with arms twice as thick as mine, cleaner and a razor can't get the dots off the windshield, how will I? Why should I have to? Turns out, some of the dots are in the glass. It's cheap glass, I'm guessing from China. I've had my windshield replaced before and got beautiful, sparkling clean glass. Now I have to see the glare from those dots every time the sun shines on my windshield. Update: The windshield has already cracked from the bottom, 3-4 inches long. I lived in the Sierras 13 years where they gravel the road for winter snow. I've been hit with hundreds of rocks, yet the windshield never cracked. My new windshield is cracked 3 months after replacement. This time, I'm going back to the guy in the Sierras. He did great work and carried a quality product. read more
