    Old oil on filter

Run Away!!! I called made an appointment to get a replacement key fab and an oil change for my 2024 2500HD High Country Silverado. I had already called the warranty company and got approval with a link for any service advisor to follow and file the claim. I explained that during the call my appointment was at 11:00am, I checked in at 10:40 with Kevin. He immediately had a negative attitude, I asked how long we were looking at no answer, I suggested about 2 hours he said more like 4-6. I said with an appointment he just ignored me, I should have left then. Three hours later I went to check on it, he said it was done just paperwork. I went to go get my wife from waiting area. He never intended to do the new fab I am certain, when I went back out he was on the phone supposedly with the warranty company hung up and said if we wanted that done it would take another 2 hours at least. They had already pulled my truck around so that tells me he never intended to do the fab. I will never go back and I will tell everyone run away. They did the oil change but I could have done that or went anywhere and been done in 30 mins. They left oil on the filter so not even sure it was done right. I took a pic if I can figure out how to post I will.

Stranded at Bucee's in route from Stl to Branson and a very kind, off duty mechanic from Reliable Chevrolet spent over and hour helping us get our truck started. We drove it to their shop at night and they expedited repair service the next business day, installing a new starter, and other items, completing them before we had to return home. The next morning the dealership emailed us a clearly detailed list of items needing repair, the mechanic called me directly, sending pictures of the bad parts vs new part image. Thanks to Reliable Chevrolet we were able to get our truck repaired while on vacation and before we were all scheduled to return home. We will forever be grateful for the excellent service.

These guys are great! Purchased a used GMC Yukon from Reliable. I live in Indiana and made the purchase virtually. Everything was seemless and everyone I worked with was incredibly friendly and professional - this is NOT your typical high pressure, poor customer service dealer... the team at Reliable do it the right way, just good people in the business of helping you find a vehicle. if I lived local, I would do 100% of my business at Reliable.

An unexpected road-trip detour this morning, but definitely a worthwhile one…read more We had to make an unscheduled side trip to Pinegar Honda in Springfield, Missouri, for B1 service on our Honda Odyssey. It added about an hour of drive time to our trip, plus another hour and 15 minutes for the service itself, but we prefer to do it by the book, and thankfully our Honda service plan covered everything. To make our 8:30 AM appointment, we had to get up at 5:30 local time in Rolla and get on the road early. Much of the drive to Springfield was through nearly two hours of rain, so it was a long and very early start to the day. The good news? The dealership was excellent, the service area was clean and well organized, and everything was handled smoothly. A fun surprise in the waiting area was an on-site donut case featuring St. George's Donuts, a true Springfield institution. Katy St. George first learned to make donuts in her father's shop in California, and in 1971 she and her husband Charles sold their business there and moved back to her hometown of Springfield, where they opened the first St. George's Donuts at Grand and Glenstone. It was a neat local touch to enjoy a bit of Springfield history while waiting for the service to be completed. After a 5:30 wake-up call and a rainy drive, that was a very welcome bonus. Sometimes road trips include unexpected stops, but when the service is good and the donuts are great, it all works out. Pinegar Honda 3520 S Campbell Ave Springfield, MO 65807

After I paid cash, the secretary handed me the receipt and someone else's key that had been attached to my service order. She looked around and eventually found my key. No service personnel spoke to me regarding any of the maintenance needed. No one could tell me where my car had been parked. The secretary advised me to push my 'alarm' button on my key to help me locate the car. 'We're used to it,' she said. 'People do it all the time.' It was a very hot day, and the car was too far away to set off the alarm. The general impression was that Pinegar Honda doesn't care.

That last point is huge for me, and a big part of why I keep coming. Any woman who has tried to go to any car servicing has surely experienced that before, and not once has anyone at Pinegar talked to me like that. They've also never tried to upsell me on services, always explained to me why they do things, and they're always nice. Also, being able to drive my car straight into the garage, hand off my keys, and walk 10 feet into the waiting room, super appreciated by me, I have a disability and not having to walk and stand in line, it's very helpful. I drive out from Springfield every time because I know they're gonna treat me and my car well.

I was billed for work involving my vehicle, including charges to my warranty, and **work was performed that I did not authorize**\. It took **five separate visits** before the underlying issue was addressed\. On my **fourth visit**, I was specifically assured that my vehicle was **safe to drive**\. I trusted that professional assessment and continued driving the vehicle, including having my children with me\. On my **fifth visit, less than 24 hours later**, I was told that the vehicle was **not safe to drive**\. Thank God nothing happened while my children were in that vehicle\. That change in assessment is extremely concerning\. If the vehicle was not safe to drive, why was I assured less than 24 hours earlier that it was safe? I was also told by the dealership's new car sales manager that, **"Sometimes we have to throw parts at it until we figure out what's wrong with it\."** That statement, particularly in light of the number of visits and the work performed on my vehicle, did not give me confidence that the problem was being properly diagnosed or repaired\. When I questioned why it had taken five visits to resolve the issue, I was met with raised voices rather than a professional explanation\. I also questioned the additional work and requested that the dealership take responsibility for having the resulting issues properly inspected and repaired\. That request was refused\. I am now having to seek an **independent inspection and investigation to determine the full extent of the damage and what repairs may be necessary**\. Customers should be able to trust that work performed on their vehicles has been clearly explained, properly authorized, and completed correctly\. They should also be able to question charges, repairs, and safety concerns without being spoken to disrespectfully\. I strongly recommend that anyone using this service department **document every interaction, verify exactly what work has been authorized, and carefully review all charges and warranty claims**\. This was not simply a disagreement over a repair\. It was a serious breakdown in communication, authorization, diagnosis, customer service, and accountability\. Most importantly, I was given conflicting information about whether my vehicle was safe to drive, and that is something I cannot take lightly when my children are involved\.

If I could give Reliable Subaru zero stars, I would. Dealing…read morewith this dealership has been an absolute nightmare. I spent nearly three weeks in constant contact with a sales rep named Ace, waiting for a Subaru Outback Limited to arrive. I explicitly told him what I wanted, and he promised me-multiple times -that he would notify me the second it landed so could buy it. Because I trusted his word, I spent three weeks paying out of pocket to Uber to work every single day, just waiting on this car. I called at 10:30 AM today to check in yet again, only to find out it arrived yesterday and wasn't even on the floor yet. I rushed over and was there by noon, only to find out they were letting someone else look at it. Even though these people had put zero money down and filled out zero paperwork, the used car manager, Joey, refused to let me buy the vehicle. He chose to sell the car right out from under me to a walk-in, completely violating the agreement and disregarding the three weeks of loyalty, patience, and constant communication I put in. Ace completely lied to me, and Joey showed that this management team has zero ethics, zero accountability, and treats people like absolute garbage. They do not care about you, your time, or your situation-they only care about a quick buck. Go literally anywhere else in Missouri if you want to be treated with basic human decency. They are completely untrustworthy.

I cannot recommend this dealership's service department based on my experience…read more My vehicle was in their possession for over three weeks for a warranty-related repair, and the entire process was handled poorly from start to finish. During that time, I was repeatedly given different explanations for the source of a coolant leak. At various points, I was told the leak was coming from "everywhere," and each update seemed to bring a different diagnosis. Near the end of the process, I was suddenly told the head gasket was bad, despite that not being part of the previous diagnoses. After weeks without answers, I had very little confidence that anyone actually knew what was wrong with the vehicle. One of the most frustrating parts was the dealership's handling of the warranty claim. They attempted to have me authorize approximately $1,000 in additional testing that the warranty company had not requested. When I contacted other shops, I was quoted a fraction of that amount for similar diagnostic work. When I asked for a detailed explanation of why the testing would cost $1,000, I never received a clear answer. The responses I received were vague and left me with more questions than answers. Meanwhile, the warranty company was repeatedly asking for documentation and photos needed to move the claim forward. The dealership would often go a week or more without contacting the warranty company, allowing authorization links and requests to expire before any action was taken. The only time there seemed to be movement on the claim was when I personally called for updates. Eventually, I received a call where I was essentially told they were giving up on the vehicle and the warranty process altogether. At that point, they demanded the return of the loaner vehicle within 24 hours with virtually no warning and stated that if it was not returned, the police would be contacted. While they did provide a loaner vehicle, it eventually felt less like customer service and more like leverage. My vehicle sat at the dealership for weeks with little progress while I was repeatedly told to be patient. Later, I was made to feel as though the loaner itself was a favor I should be grateful for, despite the fact that my own vehicle remained unrepaired and stuck in their possession. Our service advisor throughout this entire experience was Jonathan, and all of our communication went through him. What makes this experience even more disappointing is what happened afterward. I transferred the vehicle to another dealership for a second opinion. That dealership worked directly with the warranty company, diagnosed the problem, repaired the thermostat housing leak, addressed an additional issue, and had the vehicle repaired and returned to me within approximately four days. The warranty process that seemed impossible at the first dealership was completed quickly once the vehicle was in the hands of a service department willing to communicate and work with the warranty company. The difference between the two experiences was night and day. After weeks of changing diagnoses, poor communication, unexplained costs, delays with the warranty company, and hostile interactions, I have no confidence in the quality of the service department's diagnostic process. Personally, I would not trust their assessment of a vehicle issue, and I would not return for future service. What should have been a repair became more than a month of unnecessary stress, delays, and frustration.
