If I could give Reliable Subaru zero stars, I would. Dealing…read morewith this dealership has been an absolute nightmare. I spent nearly three weeks in constant contact with a sales rep named Ace, waiting for a Subaru Outback Limited to arrive. I explicitly told him what I wanted, and he promised me-multiple times -that he would notify me the second it landed so could buy it. Because I trusted his word, I spent three weeks paying out of pocket to Uber to work every single day, just waiting on this car. I called at 10:30 AM today to check in yet again, only to find out it arrived yesterday and wasn't even on the floor yet. I rushed over and was there by noon, only to find out they were letting someone else look at it. Even though these people had put zero money down and filled out zero paperwork, the used car manager, Joey, refused to let me buy the vehicle. He chose to sell the car right out from under me to a walk-in, completely violating the agreement and disregarding the three weeks of loyalty, patience, and constant communication I put in. Ace completely lied to me, and Joey showed that this management team has zero ethics, zero accountability, and treats people like absolute garbage. They do not care about you, your time, or your situation-they only care about a quick buck. Go literally anywhere else in Missouri if you want to be treated with basic human decency. They are completely untrustworthy.

I cannot recommend this dealership's service department based on my experience…read more My vehicle was in their possession for over three weeks for a warranty-related repair, and the entire process was handled poorly from start to finish. During that time, I was repeatedly given different explanations for the source of a coolant leak. At various points, I was told the leak was coming from "everywhere," and each update seemed to bring a different diagnosis. Near the end of the process, I was suddenly told the head gasket was bad, despite that not being part of the previous diagnoses. After weeks without answers, I had very little confidence that anyone actually knew what was wrong with the vehicle. One of the most frustrating parts was the dealership's handling of the warranty claim. They attempted to have me authorize approximately $1,000 in additional testing that the warranty company had not requested. When I contacted other shops, I was quoted a fraction of that amount for similar diagnostic work. When I asked for a detailed explanation of why the testing would cost $1,000, I never received a clear answer. The responses I received were vague and left me with more questions than answers. Meanwhile, the warranty company was repeatedly asking for documentation and photos needed to move the claim forward. The dealership would often go a week or more without contacting the warranty company, allowing authorization links and requests to expire before any action was taken. The only time there seemed to be movement on the claim was when I personally called for updates. Eventually, I received a call where I was essentially told they were giving up on the vehicle and the warranty process altogether. At that point, they demanded the return of the loaner vehicle within 24 hours with virtually no warning and stated that if it was not returned, the police would be contacted. While they did provide a loaner vehicle, it eventually felt less like customer service and more like leverage. My vehicle sat at the dealership for weeks with little progress while I was repeatedly told to be patient. Later, I was made to feel as though the loaner itself was a favor I should be grateful for, despite the fact that my own vehicle remained unrepaired and stuck in their possession. Our service advisor throughout this entire experience was Jonathan, and all of our communication went through him. What makes this experience even more disappointing is what happened afterward. I transferred the vehicle to another dealership for a second opinion. That dealership worked directly with the warranty company, diagnosed the problem, repaired the thermostat housing leak, addressed an additional issue, and had the vehicle repaired and returned to me within approximately four days. The warranty process that seemed impossible at the first dealership was completed quickly once the vehicle was in the hands of a service department willing to communicate and work with the warranty company. The difference between the two experiences was night and day. After weeks of changing diagnoses, poor communication, unexplained costs, delays with the warranty company, and hostile interactions, I have no confidence in the quality of the service department's diagnostic process. Personally, I would not trust their assessment of a vehicle issue, and I would not return for future service. What should have been a repair became more than a month of unnecessary stress, delays, and frustration.
