I talked to Chris about repairing 9 window screens that were damaged by my window washers. He was sympathetic and upfront about the cost. Jesus, the technician, came as scheduled to re-screen. Jesus was polite, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he was extremely careful removing and installing the screens. Jesus made me feel comfortable by having me check his work. I contacted Kevin @ Reliable Mobile Screen via Yelp messenger.  He was professional and forthright with their pricing model and we exchanged cell numbers to coordinate via text.  Our screens were in much need of repair and I have been known to take them to the local hardware store which has since closed down due to Covid and the draw of Home Depot. I had done my due diligence and now I find myself added to a long list of satisfied five-star clientele.  For starters, by phone they quickly assessed the situation and quoted me accordingly; screens 'x' - boarders additional and a full screen door - yet another price. All reasonable. On the day of job, Kevin arrived promptly at 10:30 a.m. as scheduled - calling beforehand.  This work can be arduous at times, but you could tell he came prepared.  Work is done onsite as mobile would imply. It's rare, but rewarding to find people these days that have found their purpose/calling in life.  In about 2.5 hours, the entire house (including 6 screens and full sliding screen door) were complete and the house looked amazing. Kevin showed me how to replace the screens should I need to clean them and before I knew it I has handing him a check with receipt in hand. Some people succeed by what they know, some by what they do, and few by what they are. Kevin has succeeded at all three as a screen technician, in his pursuit of restoration. I am  thankful to have used them.  Mainly, his knowledge, service and diligence to see a job to its conclusion is admirable.  I intend to use them again - so, enough with the accolades - make this your first and last stop. We moved into a new house in Mission Viejo and oddly none of the windows had screens. Only the sliding glass doors had screens which was super weird. We found Reliable Mobile Screens via Yelp and they quoted us $175 for six windows. That's for a total rebuild, not just replacement screens. The installation guy showed up early and had all of the screens built and installed in about two hours. This company is amazing because they bring their entire workshop with them in their van, measure all of the windows onsite, and then go to work. They don't event need to come inside the house. I thought this job would be about $500, but after everything wrapped up, it was $205 with tax. I call this a win win... no strangers in my house and my wallet is happy. read more

I called Reliable to have a screen door screen replaced and a dog nail protective grate added. I was given a verbal estimate by Chris which I accepted. Technician, Luis, showed up at the appointment time as expected. So far so good. As Luis added the dog protect grate to the screen door I noticed that he did not center it, having an off day, it happens. By the time it was done, there were (2) extra screw holes on top and (1) extra screw hole on the bottom. Luis assured me he would bring a new dog grate out the next day and make the necessary repairs. When Luis showed up the next day 2 1/2 hours late for his scheduled appointment I noticed the "New Dog Grate" was bent and not in its original packaging as the previous one was. He told me he would com back the next day with a new one. I decided to call "Chris" and explain what had happened. "Chris" started yelling at me and telling me that he could not make me happy and refused to fix the problem they created, then hung up on me. ***STAY AWAY from this company!*** First, I should have read the Yelp reviews before having them come out to my home to "fix" my slider. Lo and behold, Jesus came out and was incredibly kind to show me that all that was wrong was the wheel was off the track and in less than a minute a little "pop" put it back on the track. He was ready to leave and unfortunately, Chris in the office said that the charge would be $160 for the 5-minute service call to basically fix nothing! Even my plumber doesn't charge $160 for a service call! My neighbor happened to stop by while this was happening and called Chris to let him know that I would be writing a negative Yelp review, letting all my neighbors know, as well as letting the owner know, and after pushing back, Chris told her to "F*** off!" Well, again, if I'd read these Yelp reviews before, I wouldn't have been surprised. Clearly the owner doesn't care about how Chris treats customers and how their company has absolutely no customer service. It's very hard to believe that this company is still in business as it seems that they clearly have a terrible business practice! read more

I literally can't believe they have anything less than 5 stars. I called this morning needing to replace the mesh on a couple of screen doors. Chris was very nice over the phone. He advised me they had availability same day due to a cancellation. I was thrilled and jumped on it. Luis showed up in the 3 hour window that was provided. He was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. He took a look at both the doors and gave me an option for the mesh replacement. He even showed me the stronger option without trying to persuade me either way. After the new mesh was added, he put the doors back on the tracks, sprayed some lubricant, and they were as good a new. 50+ year old doors!!! Disappointed in the longevity of the service. I expect longer than 6 months before having to redo again. Even though the screens are still nice and new looking the rubber seal used doesn't fit tight in my screens (old 1920s windows) so the screens are loose and popped out. I called for help but was told service was in May (it's only 6 mo in Nov) and "out of warranty". With a 4 year old and us living on the 4th floor of our building it's not safe for me to leave the screens open like this so now I'm stuck having to pay someone else to come fix it. read more

To be fair, they never did the work. They arrived on the wrong day. I called the office and man named Chris became belligerent and insisted that this was my mistake , not his and insisted that he had put down the right day. I got off the phone and arranged to have somebody let the workman in. I was not aware that Chris called the workman and told him to leave. I called the house 10 minutes later and was told that there was nobody there. I called the office and once again, Chris answered the phone. I asked Chris if he was the owner and he said no, that he was the scheduler. I asked if I could speak to the owner and he said no and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a man named Kevin who said he could not help me and that Chris was the owner. You all decide. I'm sure the workmen are wonderful but Chris should be fired or sell his business to somebody else. read more

A great company! I had a very badly torn screen on my patio sliding door due to my cat. I called and explained the issue and Chris was very helpful. He even advised against an extra purchase I was going to make to help me save money. He said his driver would be to my house anywhere between 11am-1pm. The repairman showed up at 11:01, he also was helpful (I tried to buy a pet grille again) and he explained it wouldn't be necessary if I bought the pet screen which is 7 times stronger. How nifty is this: they come to your house & make new window screens, including frames if needed, on the spot. All equipment is right in their truck & most size new screens with frames are only $32. They also make screens for patio sliders, French doors, and whatever... for a very reasonable price. I thought I needed 5 new window screens but when I took a closer look with my glasses on....the frames around 11 of my old screens were as chewed up and nasty as a buzzard on a poop truck. Salt air at the beach, blah, blah...... All is well now thanks to Luis, who did an expert job in just a couple hours. It was amazing. I got next-day service with a 2-hour window yesterday & a call to let me know when the tech was on his way. Although Reliable Mobile Screen Co. is based in Santa Ana, they have trucks in Redondo all the time. Luis worked so fast yesterday that I couldn't keep up with him, but today when I walked around the house with my contractor we noticed that Luis had measured the screens to fit tightly on windows that will not be affected by rainwater due to an overhang. The screens on windows that are exposed to rain, however, had the desired eighth-inch space at the bottom to allow water to drain out. Now.....that's impressive. This review is for the Inland Empire area. I was actually afraid to call a mobile screen service, because I thought the price would be too high. So I suffered through the heat, turned on the air conditioning, or opened the windows and let flies, bees, wasps, or god knows what fly into the house. About a week ago, I decided I was just going to bite the bullet and make the call. And am I glad I did! These guys are awesome! They arrived on time, and did 5 brand new new screens in 30 minutes! Cesar was a really nice guy ... came in, took measurements, and was done super quick. Didn't disrupt my work day at all! An these windows aren't standard size either, really different and odd sizes. But it didn't matter, any new screen was $33 bucks and if you've got the frame, a re-screen is only $22. The one thing you need to know is they have a $69 minimum for coming to your house. So if you only need one screen, I'd hold off until you needed a couple more to make it worth your while. I'd totally give this company 6 stars, not only because they did an amazing job, but because my dog liked Cesar too ... that says a lot! read more

I'm sure that they must do decent work most of the time ( screens are not rocket science ). But unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. When I first called them, Chris at their office answered all my questions and gave me nothing but total positive feedback. I told them I wanted a heavier frame and screen than what I already have. They assured me that their product would be much sturdier and that their 'Pet Screen' was really strong, and that the fit and operation would be perfect and very smooth. I was sold !! But everything just went south from the minute their service tech got here. I showed him my old sliding screen door ( the lower rollers were shot ). He immediately grabs the door and starts to try to slide it back and forth and says, " Yup, sure is stuck, rollers gone rusty and bad, pretty common problem". THEN, without reviewing anything with me, he pulls out a big screwdriver and starts to try to pry the old door off its tracks. I tell him that that's not a good idea, and that he is going to damage the main door opening frame work. He says, this is how its done, don't worry i'll clean it all up. Immediately he nicks and chinks it. As he continues for about 25 minutes trying to pry and muscle off the sliding door, he creates more horrendous additional nicks, chinks, bends, and gouges it all along the top and lower frame work. I am complaining to him the whole time that there should be a better way to do this, and every suggestion I gave him, he blew off with some excuse. He finally gets the old sliding screen door off, and immediately rushes off to his truck, where he apparently started to 'build' the new replacement door. He never reviewed his product with me. A little while later he comes back to my patio with the new door and tries to install it. He was at it for about 15-20 minutes and looks at me and says, " Ok, all done, this is the best it's gonna be." I said what do you mean, this is the best it's gonna be ? He says this is the best it's going to slide and you need to work it a little to get it to lock. Says the foundation has shifted and the door opening frame is no longer perfectly square ( this was Bulls**t !! ). I tried the new door and it was shaky, clanky, and very flimsy, only about 70% as durable has my original door. It did not slide well at all, and it had to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to fit into the lock frame and it was very hard to latch the lock. I told him that his excuse about the door opening didn't fly with me. There is not a home around that doesn't have some shifting. It was not anywhere near out of alignment as he said. The original screen door worked perfectly, smoothy, and locked easily before the rollers went bad. Also the patio main sliding glass doors are working and locking perfectly. Also, there were these 4 huge, long black bolts sticking out of their door frame ( about 1 1/2 inches ). Looked like the door was unfinished and the screws shouldn't be there. The tech just got immediately defensive, and all he did was argue that this is the way the product is designed and those adjustment screws are supposed to stick out like that ( the screws were also pushing into and against the screen itself. Sidenote: their 'Pet Screen' is pretty good ). I suggested maybe using shorter screws, and he just argued more. And the damaged main frame looked like shit from all the areas he tried to pry the old door off !! He never once tried to adjust the door some more, nore considered trying to solve any issues. Never apologized for damaging the door frame. He just continued to argue and tells me , " Well, if you don't like our product, you don't have to buy it." I called their office and spoke to Chris. I asked if a manager, or superviser could come out and look at the work that was done and go over my concerns. He said no one was available and that he would have someone call me back the next day. The tech also calls his office , but I could not understand what they were saying, but immediately after he hangs up, he rushes to the patio and removes the new door, packs up without a word, and drives off. That was not a good sign. You'd think that a manager or supervisor would want to see it on, and inspect the work ? On the next day, 9:00 am no call back, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 still no call back ? So I called them and again spoke to Chris. I asked him why no one called back. He calmly and coldly says, no one is going to call back, no manager is going to get involved, if you don't like our product, don't buy it... I asked what about the damage that your tech caused ? He says that's just how it is and they will not do anything. I told him that they are setting things up for a lawsuit, or at least a very bad review... he tells me to do what I have to do, and he hung up on me !! This is a totally unprofessional company ! I appreciate you providing pricing over the phone with the measurements I called in in June. You offer a great value over the phone. I chose not to go with you, because your customer service this month (July, 2020) is not very welcoming or customer satisfying. Actually, Chris, the person I spoke to this month, has been rude and inpatient. Chris became annoyed with the questions I asked in attempt to schedule an appointment and finalize the job. I realize summer is a busy season and especially the summer of 2020, with many people at home due to the covid-19 quarantine. My recommendation, if you have questions, make sure, to contact them at a time when Chris or whoever answers the phone is willing to make time for you. He was inpatient and chose to turn away my business, according to him, because his phones were extra busy!
