They have multiple locations but this particular one was the one I went to because it's the closest to Chinatown. The space is well-lit and spacious so perfect for studying. Was finally able to check Remi's Flower Cafe in FiDi after having it saved for so long, and I'm kinda torn. The space itself is really beautiful, lots of florals and plants, a super airy, spacious layout, and a nice outdoor seating area out front. The music was vibey too, which added to the overall vibe. It's definitely the kind of place that looks as good as you'd expect from photos. They also have a pretty cool assortment of pastries and a menu full of unique, fun drinks, which I appreciated, but that said, my matcha was a letdown b/c it was way too milky and lacking that strong matcha flavor. Service wise, everything moved really quickly, but staff wasn't super warm or engaging, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. Overall, I really wanted to love it since it had been on my list for a while, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Glad I went once, but probably wouldn't return. TLDR: Gorgeous atmosphere and fun menu, but disappointing matcha so based off that would say more style than substance. read more

This is a very nice coffee shop with a lot of flowers everywhere because it's next door to a flower shop. It's also next to a hotel so outside of the coffee shop has a lot of outdoor seating and flowers too if you like outdoor seating. Inside, all the tables are decorated with a glass vase of flowers. They have an extensive list of specialty drinks including matcha, rose, honey, turmeric, butterfly pea flower, lavender, and beet! I never knew a beet latte can exist. It sounds so weird. I got a lavender latte and they dumped a teaspoons of lavender liquid that was very dark purple into the latte. It was mixed with milk and a shot of espresso. I had to mix the drink and it took a while to blend it all in. The lavender was taking a while to mix in with the milk and espresso because it was a thick liquid consistency. After the mixing I tried the drink and it was very lavender. Like real lavender compared to other drinks. It was pretty relaxing. The standard size was also very big to me for some reason. It took me a whole day to finish the drink. I thought it was a lot of coffee in my opinion. I will be sure to check out their other specialty coffees when I come here next time. read more

What a beautiful cafe! on a hot summer afternoon I strolled in out of curiousity looking for a cool drink, and found Remi located in a small plaza in FiDi, with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, Walking inside I was immediately struck by the florist section to the left, the rainbow of colors and textures undoubtedly will catch any passerby's gaze. In the middle of the room were tables and seating for about 20+ people, then the cafe and ordering counter to the right. There offer about a dozen refresher drinks, a dozen espresso drinks, then another 10 or so specialty drinks, plus an assortment of teas and a few ice cream flavors too. $1.50 for an extra shot, $0.50 for syrup, $0.75 for alternative milks. I was seriously impressed by the number of alt milks they carried--oat, almond, coconut, soy, even cashew and macadamia. The berry matcha was a refreshing mix of strawberry, matcha and macadamia milk. the barista made a good suggestion since this milk was mildly sweet and tasted great with the strawberry sweetness and grassy slight bitterness of the matcha. Overall the matcha flavor was a little less prominent than I typically prefer though it was a nice cool reprieve from the heat (also bc the AC was cool inside the cafe) and I enjoyed it. Price after all was accounted for was $8.44 ($6.25+$0.75+tax) though in the normal-ish range of such drinks in NYC these days. read more

Great matcha for the financial district. The large is a bit watered down (probably because of the size) but it's still enjoyable. I appreciate that the matcha isn't premixed and that the workers actually whisk the matcha and you can ask them to add honey. The price for a large is equivalent to a much smaller cup anywhere else in the area which is a plus. I've tried both their iced strawberry matcha latte and their regular iced matcha latte with honey. Personally I prefer the regular one given that the strawberry flavor isn't as strong in the strawberry matcha and is barely noticeable. I'm a sucker for a cute, unique coffee shop. Remi43 checks all the boxes. Cute cafe vibes in a flower shop will always catch my attention. My husband and I are in NYC for a long weekend visiting friends and family. We're staying at a hotel in FiDi, right down the street from Remi43. The outside courtyard is beyond gorgeous, and the flowers inside are the icing on the cake. I ordered a rose latte (less sweet), which was both delicious and pretty! Loved the coffee art! The barista let me know the menu favorites included their Tiramisu latte and a limited-time Toasted Mocha latte with marshmallows. As tempting as these options were, I opted for the Butterfly Pea Latte, an earthy, blue drink made from butterfly pea leaves. If you've never had a Butterfly Pea Latte, it tastes grassy but in a good, healthy way. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for something different and unsweet. Pair it with a warm blueberry scone and you have a great balance of sweet and unsweet. I dipped my scone into my latte; delish!! Overall, I am so glad I happened upon this place. OMG! Dangerous new addition to the neighborhood because I want to come back every day now. So many drinks to choose from; I went with the iced berry matcha latte with oat milk, and it was perfect! Not too sweet, perfect texture, great flavor. I am curious about the maple latte and tiramisu latte. They also serve La Colombe on tap - amazing! All of the baked goods looked incredible as well and seemed to come from local bakeries. The Balthazar everything croissant was absolutely delicious! Even aside from the baked goods in the display, they sold a lot of cute packaged sweets / pretty food items. And, of course, they are a flower shop! Oh my goodness, I LOVED this spot! What an amazing place to work from. Being surrounded by greenery and watching the lady put flower bouquets together - just wow. THE CUTEST COFFEE SHOP IN LOWER MANHATTAN ! Ample seating, soft music, great menu and friendly staff, there is really nothing more you could want from a coffee shop. The WiFi is free for customers. I ordered the Blueberry Hibiscus Tea Lemonade and I loved it. I also ordered their mini size strawberry iced cream (it's basically a small and was the perfect amount) IT WAS SO GOOD! Notable mention: the bathroom in this place is large and clean. Everything about this place makes me excited to come back. I want to come try their chai latte and pastries. I will definitely be returning to this place soon and every time I'm in the area. The only thing I will say is there are only two outlets in the seating area that I could see for charging.
