I wanted a hot drink with cold foam and they made it work for me! The combo was so good - Hojicha latte with black sesame cold foam. I love both things so couldn't go wrong. The sweetness level is perfect, the foam texture is just right and presentation is cute. I wish they had actual ceramic cups for to stay orders though. The seating area is cozy, lots of tables but it does get busy. I came to read my book but the music was blasting. Although it was a cool playlist I was hoping to get some peace. My noise canceling headphones did the trick so it was all good! read more

Came in on a hot summer day to get some reading done. I arrived before noon and there was plentiful of seating and I like that they don't play loud music. Their coffee is smooth and not acidic which I prefer. The only con - they had the door and windows open so you're going to get a whiff of whatever passes by on the streets. read more

We desperately needed a drink after Supermoon Bakehouse, saw this cafe had both coffee and teas (matcha, hojicha) and was nearby. The girl at the counter was helpful and quite friendly, although it was a bit slow because we took a minute to decide what to get--they were out of hojicha so I didn't order anything :(--and she had to take orders and make the drinks herself. Got one brewed tea which was fine, one coffee that my friend said was tasty, and a strawberry matcha that really wasn't very good. Just seemed like low quality matcha from both the color and flavor, and strawberry was definitely lacking. read more

Stopped in on a weekend and there was no line. Got the famed carrot cake latte. The cold foam and spices on top were awesome, but the latte itself was merely fine. Appreciate that nondairy milks are free and that they have a lot of seating. read more

The interior of this cafe is so gorgeous and girl-coded. I love the brick wall details and the flowers all over. There were a variety of drink options to choose from. I did wish my Matcha Latte was a little sweeter and stronger but will definitely be interested in trying out another drink. read more

A quaint and non ostentatious flower and coffee shop with some great Asian flavors - I chose between the Hojicha latte with black sesame cold foam and the osmanthus latte - I got the Hojicha this time. The default is oat milk which I like. There's one person taking orders and making the drinks, and she was super sweet even when busy! Plenty of seating and people filtering in and out - decent to WFH but not if you're taking a call! read more

Nice lil cafe in the LES. There are about 10ish seats here and it's very well lit with natural lighting coming in from the windows. The drinks are pretty but the taste is okay. Shocked they have no whole milk and only have milk alternatives so good for health nuts (but not for me). They also have a small pastry case with vegan treats. The ordering counter and seating can get crowded but otherwise not an issue with finding seating. Plus is they have a bathroom! read more

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy Dialogue one bit. Came to try the carrot cake latte, but there was nothing carrot cake about it. It didn't have any flavor, just tasted like plain iced coffee. The cream top had a little bit of sweetness but that's it. The einspanner was the exact same too. I'm not sure if we just had a bad batch, because I see lots of positive reviews. But unfortunately, our coffees were a waste of money here. read more

Beautiful space. Really nice on a good weather day with all the doors etc open. I appreciate all of the speciality drink options, would maybe go back to try the fermented rice tea. No dairy milk, alternative milks only. I liked the black sesame cold foam on the hojicha but found the tea itself lacking, wish they had a heavier hand with the powder. Would not order a matcha here for fear of the same experience. read more

Really liked the carrot cake latte it was super different but really good! The drinks were great but the inside needs some work - half the seating was marked closed due to being not safe for sitting. The seating was old and just needs to be replaced / updated. I would pop in for a drink but just wouldn't hang around inside as is right now. read more

#36 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES Maybe I got the wrong drinks, but this place was not good. I love that everything was vegan (including the pastries), meaning they only have oat, soy, coconut, and almond milk. There is ample seating inside, but most of the tables get filled up early. And everything is fairly priced. I was going to get the carrot cake latte but the worker said she and all her coworkers recommend the hojicha latte. I got it and it tasted like dirt... no other flavor. I've gotten hojicha lattes before but I have never had one that bad... My sister got a strawberry matcha and it was good. Light on the matcha flavor but heavy on the strawberry. A little too sweet. I appreciate that their drinks look nice but just wish the taste executed its looks. A great great spot for coffee on the go or to stay for a chat and enjoy a cup! We got the carrot cake latte ( vanilla latte with carrot cake cold foam) and an americano. Americano was robust and deep, a true classic. Carrot cake latte was amazing, the flavors of spices in the cold foam mixed into the vanilla latte was really good. Coffee to milk ratio was , presentation was as well. I came here because of those darn little cute carrots but I stayed for the vibes and to really enjoy that cup. Line is flowing but fast. Service is good and friendly. Vibe is casual and chill. Would recommend! read more

in love with this coffee shop all around - the abundant seating, the creative Asian influenced drinks, the cool baristas, the chill music, love every part of it I'm genuinely so excited to try all the drinks here one day, I'm halfway through lol. An amazingly cute coffee shop! My friend and I absolutely had to visit after seeing how the drinks were designed. The inside is bigger than you think! Some good seating if you walk further in, but otherwise it is more of a grab and go spot. I got the carrot cake latte (which came with a real mini carrot!), and my friend the black sesame hojicha. Both were equally tasty. My latte tasted as advertised, so would definitely recommend if you enjoy carrot cakes :) read more

Drink: I got the fermented rice osthmanthus latte which the uniqueness alone deserves kudos. The blend of the bold toasty espresso with the fermented twang is initially very weird but it works. If you have had a fermented rice drink like Japanese amazake or Korean sikhye, you know what I mean. The osthmanthus gave it a slight floral note. The little rice/koji bits at the bottom acting like boba was surprisingly satisfying to eat. Service: As expected, quick, friendly, fast. I've always walked by Dialogue but didn't get a chance to try it out until today! Since it was a rainy day, I was looking for a hot drink but a lot of their specials are more suited as cold drinks since the cold foam would likely melt. My matcha cold foam coconut featured a good matcha cream but a little diluted when mixed with the coconut water. I do like the generous serving of the foam nevertheless. The fermented rice osmanthus latte with oatmilk was very solid. The oat and fermented rice taste were prominent. Osmanthus aroma was subtle but overall wasnt too sweet. My friend's black sesame hojicha had a good milk tea flavor. It was nutty overall but didn't scream black sesame to me. The space is cute with floral decor, but small so be sure to squeeze past folks and between tables when it gets busy. People were using their laptops on the weekends. Staff didn't seem attentive; we had to repeat our orders several times. read more

Dialogue Coffee & Flower is such a lovely spot! The interior is thoughtfully decorated with flowers, giving the whole place a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of café that just makes you smile when you walk in. One of the things I love most: they don't serve cow's milk. All their drinks are made with dairy-free options, which was perfect for my husband since he's lactose intolerant. We tried the carrot cake latte and the osmanthus cold foam latte--both were delicious and not overly sweet. The carrot cake latte had a hint of cinnamon and came with the cutest little carrot on top. The osmanthus latte was delicate and floral, super unique. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. While we waited for our drink, we even chatted with another customer who recommended the rose cold foam latte--she said it was her favorite and that she'd had it two days in a row! That one's next on our list for sure. We're already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their drinks. This cozy cafe is located just outside of Chinatown and offers a cute space for you to chat with friends, catch up on work, or relax. They have a cute exterior with flowers dangling from the roof as well as interior with lots of floral decorations, and a garden-like ambiance. Their menu offers a variety of matcha and espresso drinks, all of which sound so delicious. I got their carrot cake latte and absolutely loved it. What a cute cafe and flower shop! We popped in for a quick afternoon pick me up and was surprised by the unique drinks they offered. They had the classic coffee menu but they also had drinks like an osmanthus cold foam latte, carrot cake latte, and black sesame hojicha latte. We ended up trying a fermented rice osmanthus latte and a simple hojicha latte and both were decent! Both were not too sweet and the flavors were really subtle. This place was super busy in the middle of the day. Like SUPER BUSY and the coffee brewing/drink making area was itty bitty. I ordered a black iced coffee, and it was alright. I could not tell if it was made in house or came as a cold brew. My friend ordered the black sesame latte and it was super tasty. I would really like to see them make their own milk alternatives vs. using ones that have additional chemicals in them. Overall-cute coffee shop. Went for the carrot cake latte & it was so worth it. Look at that foam! Love a creamy drink, they had so many fun drink options and different foams I cannot wait to go back and try more. They only have nondairy milks, oat is the default which I love. There's a decent amount of seating but it is a very tight place, when we went it was very busy and we bumped into a lot of people & awkwardly stood around feeling like we were in the way. A small cafe in the lower east side. It is super cute place with more seating than I expected. I came on a weekday in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Since I'm lactose intolerant, I very much appreciate that I didn't have to think about what I could order and what I would need to change so I didn't need to take a lactaid, since all the drinks are dairy free! I tried the fermented rice osmanthus latte and loved that it wasn't too sweet. They make the drinks with Koatji, organic barista oat and koji milk and that is delicious! Highly recommend, would love to come back to try other drinks. They also sell very fresh and bright flower bouquets! read more

Great spot! I walked in, intending to journal and eyeing a hojicha latte. There was a bit of a line so I hopped in and the wait wasn't too bad. The baristas work fast and are friendly. The hojicha latte was delicious and exactly what I was craving. I also asked for a couple of waters which were quickly and happily turned over. The seating area itself is a bit dated and run down, but I think it adds to the charm. Some of the chairs are rickety and the tables beat up but I didn't mind. It's tight quarters though so on a busy day, I wouldn't be surprised if I had to sit with strangers. read more

(Black Sesame Hojicha Latte: B) - This is a beautiful concept that blends two of my favorite dessert flavors, and the aesthetic of the drink speaks to this natural beauty. Unfortunately, I found this drink to be looks forward and taste backward as it did not taste good, mostly because I think the Hojicha flavor is not strong enough when diluted in a latte form, and also perhaps it was also lacking in sweetness which would actually enrich the Hojicha if it were in a syrup form. What a lovely find!! Matcha was good quality, rose foam wasn't too sweet, and I loved the smiley they put on top! This is a seemingly small cafe but you'll discover the seating once you head inside. What a cute place this is. Not sure if it was the time I went but it was super chill just 3-4 other people were there while I was here. Plenty of seating options in the back area. Very chill atmosphere. Barista was super nice and helped me choose which drink to get. I should have read up on this place before hand as I didn't realize it was vegan place and I asked for regular milk. Oops.. I had the oatmilk Rose cold foam latte. What a treat this was. Tasty and pretty all in one. They top it with a little flower and some sort of Rose like powder. They have what looked to be great pastries but I did not eat anything here. There was one other drink I was back and forth about which was a carrot cake iced latte. Maybe if I go back I will try this drink next. This is a great spot. read more

Take your coffee and treats to the park across the street with benches. You can people watch and enjoy your morning coffee!!

Dialogue Coffee and Flowers is a fully vegan coffee shop in New York that stands out immediately both in concept and execution. I walked into a flower themed space where the aesthetic was genuinely well done without feeling overdone. The window seating was worth grabbing since it was available when I arrived. Laptops are allowed even on weekends, which made it a viable option to settle in for a while, and the seating situation was more generous than a lot of comparable spots in the city. The drinks are the main draw and they deliver. Everything is vegan, which means the cold foam and milk based drinks are all plant based, and the quality held up in a way that did not feel like a compromise. The matcha was well prepared and the hojicha latte is worth ordering if you want something with a roasted, slightly earthy quality that pairs naturally with the coffee program here. The coffee itself was solid, with a strong enough flavor that did not get lost behind the milk or foam, a balance a lot of specialty shops struggle to maintain. The carrot cake latte is the viral item and the presentation alone makes it a conversation starter, but it actually tastes as good as it looks. I found it slightly sweet, well balanced, and the cold foam on top was thick and satisfying in a way that holds its own against dairy versions. The fermented rice osmanthus latte is another option worth exploring if you want something more unusual that you are not going to find anywhere else.
