Avi came over on my day off. We talked about what I wanted to do with the paint job. A few days later his team came and power washed the house. Then patched and sealed the cracks. The crew was back and masked off everything and primed everything. Next day the main color was on and the trim was started. The next day it was done and all the masking was removed. I didn't like the garage door being so white. So he had the crew come back and repaint it a different color. I am very happy with the work that was done. Since 6/26/23 I had a free estimate appointment setup for AVI to come out on Thursday 6/29/23 for 1pm. I get a texted from LEAH on 6/27/23 asking if I can move my appointment to 6/28/23. I informed her that my calendar is full that day. I get another text on 6/28/23 asking if I can move my appointment to 10am on 6/29/23. I informed LEAH I will juggle my calendar 10 am would be fine. I verified with her twice that my appointment is now 10am and not the original 1pm schedule. Now this morning 6/29/23 at 9:32am, LEAH texts me again stating that AVI's e.t.a., is looking more like 11am. I informed LEAH that how can I depend on her company to do a project WHEN I can't depend on the company to stop making changes to a scheduled free estimate. I told her forget it! Avi, In no way shape or form did she offer for the owner to come out to my residence. Every call or text from her was your name-AVI. No need to lie about screaming at Leah and hanging up on her. Six of the eight lights that Remodeling Home Advisors installed have now lost their covers. They just drop off at inopportune times. These are not something that can reasonably be repaired. They don't sell these cover pieces separately Home Depot says they are cheap "builder grade" and it would be better to replace them. I hate that I used this company. I knew that if you responded to this at all you would confirm my personal assessment of you. You did not disappoint. When called out, a true scoundrel's first line of defense is to blame someone else. In this case, that would be me. 1. You claim you didn't pass the inspections because I re-wired my house without a permit. As you know, at your request, my electrical contractor (who had a permit to do the work) agreed not to re-wire the bathroom so that he would not interfere with your work and jeopardize the permit process. The electrical and plumbing failures were totally your fault. 2. You claim that I caused delays due to the lack of finish materials during your tenure. As I conveyed to you 2 weeks prior to your start date, the only missing item was the vanity that I wanted installed. One week prior to your work start, the vanity arrived. All other finish materials that I was responsible for were in the house. The exception being the finish tile that you were going to pick up from my supplier but never did. 3. You seem to imply that I hired another contractor because he was my friend and that I purposely ignored your communications. Other than an e-mail requesting me to finish the electrical work, I received no other communications. You know as well as I, had I allowed you to "continue working", I still, to this date, would have no bathroom. After over 7 weeks of absolutely no progress on this project, I felt justified in the termination of our agreement. The new contractor, whom I originally hired to remodel my kitchen because I had seen and admired his cabinet work and did not personally know him, completed the inspection requirements in 3 1/2 days and finished the entire project exactly 2 1/2 weeks from the day he was hired! I only respond to Avi's outlandish and false comments to forewarn anyone considering hiring RHA to pay close attention to the work crew and, more importantly, structure payments only when certain milestones have been achieved to your satisfaction. read more

We had a very big project which was to take a home that had not been updated (except the kitchen, sort of ) in 50 years and get it ready to rent. This was almost a full house reno (4 bathrooms, new floors, new kitchen cabinets, recessed lights throughout, full house painting and just a lot of general modernization). I ended up going with RHA because of Sammy and Avis professionalism and their knowledge of what needs to be done. I'm glad I went with them. I sincerely hope that we are done working with this company for real this time. The most recent development was what, in our opinion, looked like a patchwork paint job on our living room ceiling (which had to be repaired twice, once from our original leak, then again due to a leak in the new roof). Overall, we believe communication could have been better - as other reviewers have noted. We often wouldn't know till the night before (or sometimes even the morning of) whether work was being done on a given day or what time workers would be arriving. My husband had to intervene at least twice to ensure work was done to his satisfaction. The main problem seems to be that to pass the final inspection they had to cut into the new roof to see underneath (I'm not a roofer, so don't fully understand the details, but this doesn't seem normal to me). The opening must not have been sealed, and the roof leaked badly the first time it rained, leading to a whole new round of interaction with the company trying to get that repaired. We ran into another issue when they left what to us was a very obvious patched area on our brand new roof, and we believe they would have left it that way if we didn't push back and insist upon them making our $20K new roof look like a new roof. Which they did, in the end. Overall this project took far longer than we ever anticipated and caused a great deal of frustration on our end. Side note to anyone who does use this company - they seem very concerned about their yelp reviews. When they were not responding in a timely way to our calls and emails, we left the earlier review about the leaks and got a call right away. read more

5 stars for the actual work (simple ceiling work - remove cracking plaster and replace with drywall). 2 stars for the communication/customer service. The actual workers were always on time and cleaned up after themselves but the overall experience was disappointing considering the premium paid to go with RHA. It started with an inexperienced dispatcher that messed up the initial appointment timing but it was more the GC/project manager that 1) failed to be to be on top things which added two extra days to the project (we were on a tight timeline) and 2) was MIA unresponsive for a couple of days. Needless to say as didn't go with RHA for the next project. We liked the work done but it wasn't worth the extra stress. read more

Just spoke with a representative from this company and was totally appalled by the fact I was asked if my husband was going to join me. I think their staff needs to be careful as to what they ask potential customers, especially in today's world. Second, is that I was told that the owner of the house, who is my best friend and who I have proxy to collect bids on her behalf, needed to be there at the time of the bid or I would be charged, is totally ridiculous. I was totally insulted by the questions asked by your staff.
