Ive had there pizza take out before since I live in the area and its really good. Yesterday me and a friend went for dinner i had a glass of red wine and the lasagna he had lemonade and the pasta Alfredo with chicken. His food was really great. The bread we got while waiting and the wine and lemonade great. However my lasagna I did not like as much. I love lasagna and haven't had it in a while since a-lot of places don't have it and i myself haven't made it in a while since I cook. Shockingly since his food was really good i was a bit upset that mine did taste under seasoned just nothing wowed me like his food did. I am also used to getting bread with a pasta meal not just before the meal in general. I mixed up the prices and thought i would be paying what I saw was the lunch price. To me the lasagna was not worth the dinner price even though the portion was big the flavors and taste was not there. His also was a bit pricey but given the location and since it was really good I was ok with it. I am not a person tp complete or send back food so I just dealt with it. Server and staff were great as well but not sure if I would go back or get the lasagna again if I ever did go back. $53 is a lot to me for only one great thing and one not so much. read more

It is not an extraordinary pizza! Same quality with frozen pizza! I always feel they are making good pizza before this visit because of the crowd. I have to say i m totally wrong! Dough is so bad but the quality of the toppings didn't satisfied me. They are ( may be not all of it) ready prepared such as artichokes (definitely jar of artichoke hearts) , tomato sauce (so taste ready prepared and so acidic). As long as I sit there there was a smell of mold that i couldn't understand where it was coming. Waiters ( young girls) probably doing this job first time or somebody should teach them how to act when they are serving. Anyway, it was my first and the last time to go there. have been thr couple of times, and have not tried too many stuff, but they have best pizza i have tried, chicken garlic, 3 veggie, old fashioned pepperoni and all of them were too good. I tried peene ala vodka (chkn). it was good, but not great. I think after eating thr pizza, my benchmark was too high. Cannot comment on service as we always do takeout. But person on phone is always helpful and patient, so i think they must be serving well too. I will give 4* as of now, as i go more often it might change. read more

Bland sauce, cold pasta, unremarkable veal parm, overpriced plus bad service and it's a bear to park...with Fortina (AMAZING pizza, far better atmosphere, but louder for sure) and Siena closeby why bother. Siena is much more refined than either of the other two places, very authentic not red sauce italian food, esp the seafood.h Really unable to understand what people giving this place more than one star are basing it on? Went with a large group (16) and the manager was able to accommodate us which was really great. We had mostly pizza which was ok, the cheese and pepperoni were better than prosciutto and beans (?). My kids and my husband and I love Remos !! Granted no pizza is as good as NY Pizza But this is pretty good for Ct lol . They have great meals , I love there Penne Ala Vodka and the bread they serve you with the oil . There house wine is very good too . If you want good service get a man to be your waiter. I really enjoy Remo's! I've been here quite a few times, and have had a good experience each time. Waitstaff- generally very friendly and accommodating. I've had one mediocre experience with an inattentive waiter, but I will attribute that to a bad day... Wines- they have a decent selection of wine, and our waitress has helped us pair wine with our meal a couple times now. Pies: I usually come here and get pizza. I've had the garlic shrimp pizza, which I love. It gets to be too much after a couple slices though, so I usually only order half. I really enjoy the salad pizza with avocado and chicken. It is chock-full of ingredients, and they are super fresh. If you've never had salad pizza, this is just a pie with marinara sauce + salad, it is great! Roasted vegetable pizza is nice - good option for people who do not eat meat. Margerhita pizza- yum! Traditional, but delicious. Cheese is fresh, not too tomatoey or cheesy... Just delicious. Get the napolitana style if you get a pie... Fresh mozzarella and basil; I think it tastes a lot fresher. As for other dishes, I've only had the penne a la vodka and a sandwich. I thought the vodka sauce was good, but not great. The portion size was average, so not for a very hungry person! The sandwich was okay - I don't even remember specifically what I ordered... I just remember not liking it and only eating half. Going forward, I will stick with pies from here. Overall, a great place. Right on Bedford so it's convenient to go out after dinner! Remos Pizza is one of my favorite italian eateries in stamford. The food is always fresh and the pizza has just the right amount of cheese to sauce ratio. I went on a Saturday night. My friend knows one of the owners and I've never been so we went after a night of painting. It was busy but with a friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Alfredo with meatballs and penne al la vodka with sausage to go (for my boyfriend). The waiter gave me penne al la vodka with meatballs as my eat in meal. I didn't even realize I ordered Alfredo because it was SO good! He forgot my other order so I ordered another penne al la vodka with meatballs to go (my boyfriend loved it!!) the portions are big and the service is quick (but my waiter seemed to be quite aloof which is why I gave it for stars). My friend bought me a cannoli and a cappuccino. Oh my gosh! I'm from the west coast so it was the first cappuccino I've ever had and the first real cannoli. I had the chocolate one it was amazing!!! I definitely recommend but I will never go on a Saturday night and hopefully will get a different waiter. I've been hard pressed to find a pizza place in Stamford that is consistently good. I believe Remo's comes the closest. I"ve eaten here on multiple occasions and have always walked away satisfied. Came here for my birthday with about 12 people. Ordered 2 pies and drinks. It was very affordable at about 5 dollars a person each person getting approximate 2 slices. Pizza was delicious. Remo's has a great atmosphere and the food is incredible. From their salads to their eggplant parm, this is one of the best Italian places in Stamford. Their quantities are enormous, and I always leave satisfied by my meal. Last time I was there, before the big dinner crowd had arrived, I was completely unimpressed with the service. It took me about 10 minutes for someone to come take my order - after I had gone up to the waiter behind the bar to let him know were ready. And once it got more crowded, it took another long while before our check actually arrived at the table.
