Best Huevos Rancheros! My training partner and I decided to try Remy's after our Y workouts down Highland. My benchmark was an "American" breakfast; two over easy, crispy bacon and hash browns. They nailed it. Their omelets are spot on with a good choice of variations. Then, on day, I saw Huevos Ranchero s on their Specials! Based on two crispy tortillas, chorizo (the good crumbly kind), black beans, diced tomatoes, potatoes, cheddar cheese, with sides of sour cream and pico. I have to hold myself to ordering it once a month or I'll do it every visit. AND their menu has so much more, pancakes, waffles, crepes, and, well you have to see their menu. Oh, they usually have five choices of grilled muffins from Red Velvet to Blueberry! Their Lunch menu is extensive as well. Love this place. read more

I am so disappointed in this place. We came here after reading mostly good reviews. We walked in the door and were ignored. Staff kept walking by and not even greeting us. We were finally greeted and I was told we could be seated in about 5 minutes. Our seat was almost given to someone who walked in behind us but I spoke up that we had been waiting. Our server came to take the drink order: 2 coffees, 2 waters and lots of cream. He brought us our drinks and everything was fine at that point. My husband ordered the ribeye (medium) with eggs and potatoes, I ordered the avocado toast (see picture), we requested grits and toast for the little one and I added on a pistachio yogurt muffin for the table. Our food arrived quickly and that's when I became upset. The server never came to ask us how the food was. Passed by a number of times and didn't even look our way. My avocado toast was so burnt it was inedible and the avocado itself was flavorless. My husbands steak was very thin and cooked to well done definitely not medium, my daughters toast had no butter and the grits had no flavor whatsoever, the "pistachio" muffin was not pistachio..... it tasted like almond extract, looked like it was dyed with green food coloring and was full of walnuts not pistachios.... coffee was very acidic and bitter.... had to wave the waiter down to get the avocado toast taken off the order... he still didn't care to ask how the rest of the food was. it was an unpleasant ordeal to pay up front. There is no room to stand with everyone waiting by the door. They really need to have the servers take the payment because going up to pay at that counter was like being in an elevator with a dozen people.... just not a pleasant experience... I would rather eat at home...... waste of money and time!!!! read more

Fairly new cafe that's in my work neighborhood serving Breakfast and Lunch. Really solid food, menu and service. If you're a sausage gravy whore like me, Remy's is on point! I love that they off half orders of their Benedicts, and you will still leave stuffed. When you order hash browns well done or crispy, they actually come out from the kitchen that way! My new fav breakfast/lunch spot! I went by myself for lunch on Thursday and was greeted by Omar (previously worked at Maggie Mae's) who is the owner. I knew I was going to have a very good meal. There is so much to choose from on their menu. I decided on their cobb salad. Fresh lettuce, a sliced hard boiled egg (no green around the yolk), a lot of crumbled bacon and crumbled blue cheese, sliced avocado, and grilled chicken..good sized portion and very good blue cheese dressing. DH and I went for lunch today. He had a cheeseburger which he said was very good. He asked for it medium and it was cooked perfectly. It was served with fries. I had a spinach salad with avocado, mozzarella slices, and chicken. A nice amount of avocado and cheese. Wish I took a picture. I will definitely order again. The avocado is creamy and adds to the smoothness if the sauce that had a light lemon flavor. Chourico has a nice Spiceyness to it on top of English muffin also came with a choice of grits or hash browns. The country fried steak had a beautiful crispy breading topped with a smooth, sausage gravy that was spiced perfectly, I devoured it. The meal came with eggs and I chose sunny side up that was perfectly fried at a sunny side up egg should be, slightly runny yolks. I chose fruit instead of potatoes and they gave you seasonal fruit that was fresh included strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, grapes. Very colorful. I gave a 4 star because they forgot the extra toast. It's new too so I'm giving them time to settle in. I have to say the servers all work together to give wonderful service. But the food was great!
