It was cold outside and I was happy to be near food. My friend and I shared the Greek salad with a great garlic dressing that I need to try and recreate. We left nothing left on the plate but the red peppers. We also shared the 12' pizza and took home leftovers. The prices are slightly more than other pizza hut joints but made with fresher ingredients and offer more daring flavors. I am glad we chose half 5 cheese and half Thai Curry because the Thai pizza had a spicy kick. There is no way my wimpy friends could handle it! I think I would really enjoy their veggie pizza because the zucchini on the Thai was quite good. 5 cheeses was rich for me especially with the feta but it tasted good and I really loved the crunchy crust. If I went there again I would have to try something new. It would be great to call in your order ahead of time because it takes about 20 minutes. Or eat in like I did and have salad while your pizza is cooking. Had to add a few corrections for Steve! Thanks for offering organic meals that support the local community. Wow, this place was awesome! As a Chicago native, I'm pretty picky about my pizza. I've spent the past few years modifying my diet which includes eating gluten free. So, I have sampled every single pizza in Tucson that is gluten free. This place was like some sort of gluten free heaven. I ordered my pizza over the phone, asking for something like a "supreme" pizza. Then I asked about gluten free deserts. I felt like a kid in a candy shop when I heard the woman say they had 3 deserts! Then she listed carrot cake, flourless chocolate cake and a vegan whoppie pie! Oh man that was a hard decision but I went for the chocolate cake. So, I get there to pick up my order (which was cheaper due to the groupon I had). I walk in and am immediately impressed by the ambiance. I sorta wished I had sat in there and ate but my order was to go. So, I'm greated by a friendly woman who makes me feel really welcomed. I sit there and strike up a conversation with a buddhist who is studying to be a monk while they get my food. I'm handed this delicious smelling box of warmth with a smile. Luckily, I wasn't stopped as I was speeding home with this delicious smelling food. I sit down in my comfotable recliner and open the box. Oh man, this pizza was bigger than most gluten free pizzas I've gotten for the same price. When I bit into it, I swear this pizza had the best pepperoni and sausage I'd ever tasted. It turns out it's some awesome grass fed, organic stuff. The sauce was good. I asked for light cheese (I'm lactose intollerant but sometimes a man's gotta splurge) and they actually used light cheese. After that pizza, I opened up the little box of GF chocolate cake. This was a small piece of rich goodness. So wonderfully chocolately and fresh tasting! Basically, I'd go here if I were you. It's wonderful food for a good price. The people here are nice. Ordered takeout for 10 people. Really appreciated the enhanced precautions taken to sanitation and Covid-19 process of delivering orders to a table outside of the restaurant. Each entree was packaged correctly with no missing items or errors. Even with a 15 minute drive back to the office, the food was still hot and amazing. I personally had the Tailored Tony and the focaccia remained crispy and did not get soggy. Amazing sandwich and the Caesar Salad was fresh and crisp. My hub and I had a great experience here. It's a small restaurant but very nice and and has a romantic feel to it. The fresh tulips on the tables are a nice touch. Our server was very nice and knew the menu well. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. My hub is not a big fan of any spinach and artichoke dip, but I ordered it anyway. Well, guess who was wiping the bowl clean with the bread? MY HUSBAND! I love saying to him, "I'm right, your wrong and you're sorry" ;) I had the marinara melt and he had the meat lasagna. It is worth the 30min drive from I-10. So worth it! Even with 1 year old twins screaming in the car driving thru 112 degree hell. It was worth it! So accommodating for the kiddos. I've lived nearby this restaurant for a couple of years and I never gave it much thought to drop in and try them out. Well, I finally paid them a visit a couple days ago and I'm disappointed with myself for not coming in earlier. My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our anniversary. We started off with the caprese board, and fell in love! FRESH basil and tomatoes. I think they also make their own mozzarella which was heavenly! My boyfriend ordered a meat pizza, and I ordered a custom calzone (pepperoni, spinach, and black olives). I honestly have not had a great calzone in a while until I came to Renee's. They have a great selection of organic wine too. We tried the red wine mixture (I can't remember the name of the winery). The interior of the restaurant is a bit small, but there were also tables outside so it really wasn't too difficult, nor a long wait, for us to get a table. The staff here are also very friendly and have warm personalities. This is a place where I certainly wouldn't mind coming back to often, and I definitely intend on coming back in the near future. read more

I absolutely loved Renee's! Another great local spot I've been dying to try for some time. I came with my partner and got the black bean tostada to start. I was immediately blown away by how fresh everything tasted. It was as if the greens on top had just been picked. For my entree I went with the zucchini noodle primavera pasta and got pesto. My partner got the same but with Alfredo. Once again both were tasty and fresh. I think I preferred the pesto a tad bit more but both were good. To drink I had the prickly pear lemonade, which I chugged two glasses of. We sat out front in their small patio, which is cute. They cannot serve alcohol outside which is a shame but they do inside. The inside is nice, lots of booths. I enjoyed every component of this meal. I can see why everyone raves about Renee's. I'm excited for my next visit :) read more

It's not bad at all but it's a very bread centric restaurant and the bread and the crust on the pizza is really just mediocre. Nothing wrong with the place I like it but relative price to quality it's still just rates 3 stars. It's important to remember two things about my reviews. The first is like all reviews it's simply my impression based on my experience cross referenced with my tastes. The fact is, McDonald's has been in business for over 50 years and I can't stand McDonald's and think anyone who eats there is out of their mind. Millions of people do eat there. The problem I have with this restaurant is that the dough used for the pizza crust and also for the bread items simply is just bland and mediocre. Now a lot of people won't agree with me and will like this kind of crust. Personally I find it a standard generic American style dough. The second issue which I mention from time to time is that all reviews are done referencing price because I think that's the only fair way to do it. I think that's what most people do when they go into any restaurant or make any buying decision. read more

My coworkers suggested this place for lunch. Wow I was completely suprised at how good this place was. We had the bread appetizer (warm) and it came with honey and olive oil. This was very tasty and started doing this at home. I had a make it yourself calzone, this was the perfect size and very tasty. It's very difficult to eat out without a headache with food allergies, so let me tell you how amazingly nice it was for my mom to come here and be able to order and not worry. She is allergic to gluten and dairy, so when we go out to eat, it's hard for her to find something besides a salad. They have SO MANY options, and everything is clear and right there on the menu so you don't have to wonder what they have or can and cannot do. The staff was very warm, friendly, and welcoming, and came by just enough to make sure you were taken care of but not so much that you felt annoyed. Unfortunately I didn't snap pictures of everyone's food, but I got the pizza, Greek salad, and organic prickly pear lemonade and it was AMAZING! Will definitely be coming back! We ordered a take out order for meatballs for five adults. After paying over $35 dollars we discovered 12 2inch meatballs. When I called and spoke with Renee, instead of just an apology for the miscommunication or how can she make it right she was sort of "oh well"that's how much they cost. It's been a long time but I decided to try again. Renee had kindly put a credit on my account after my last visit. I ordered the same thing but with chicken. This time the noodles came with vegetables. I think the last order was a fluke. This meal was amazing! It was fresh, hot and delicious. I'm so glad I tried again!!! So this one is part of the Yelp has an app for that food fight. Ill be posting a review just for the app and then I'll update at a later time once I actually have a full blown meal here!. This was the very first stop on our adventure. Renee's Organic oven is such a cool place. Renee herself is very sweet and its nice to see a chef come out of the kitchen and interact with their peoples. The appetizer was CapreSay What. Which is a local grass-fed beef, mozzarella, tomato, basil and pesto mayo with steak fries and garlic sauce. It looked stunning! They didn't even mention in the description the yummy bread that it came on. It looked like a lil burger. you can see my pic in the gallery of the business. Anyhow. The pesto was spot on the way it went with the fresh tomato, mozzarella and the cute lil patty of beef which was cooked perfectly. Starving after a long hike in the Catalina Foothills, we dropped in at Renee's for some carbs and were wowed by the tastiness of the pizza, garlic bread, and the creamy feta cheese dressing! The greek salad is a must get appetizer - and the optional bread is a must do! The dressing is killer on garlic bread and we got a second little dish to smear it on our pizza crusts! The two in our party ordered separate personal pizzas and we were both pleased with a meat lovers and a mushroom heavy vegetarian options. This is a small restaurant and I got the sense that they have many regular customers. I love when the relationships between the restaurant staff and the clientele are so casual and fun. This was a nice neighborhood place and as a tourist, I am glad I got to experience the feeling of "home" away from home! read more

This is the first Organic restaurant i have ever been to. I absolutely love the set up, howecer, the hosts station is right as soon as you walk in and its a little awkward for customers coming in and out. Desert Dweller is an awesome cocktail and the vegetarian lasagna is the first i ever had in my life in any restaurant that i ever actually liked, let alone LOVED! I AM SO PICKY WITH FOOD! Made reservations for my birthday dinner.. Only available seating was on the patio, called to verify that they had heater's... and we were told "Yes ". So drove 45 minutes to try this place, Got there early and seated promptly.. Told our server... it was our first time there and we wanted to have the everything pizza and flourless chocolate cake. He informed us that they were out of the cake... it was 4:30 pm before dinner rush... okay just ordered the pizza and the server turned on the outside heater, which was nice for less then 15 minutes when the tan out of propane for not just one of the heaters but two of the heaters! Really! So went to my car and got my winter coat. Pizza came with in 25 minutes which was reasonable for a restaurant, halfway through our pizza it was cold... so my question was how much do you care about your guest when you don't provide the heaters you informed that you have and don't have away (back up) to keep guest warm and their food. The food was fabulous, and the people were friendly and helpful. We had some dietary restrictions in our group and it was no problem at all. They have many vegetarian options and several vegan options. Renee told me if there was something on the menu that wasn't vegan, she would be happy to work with me and see if it could be veganized. There was no need as I found plenty to choose from. The salads were fresh, delicious and large! The pastas were perfectly cooked and delicious, and pizzas were excellent. Overrated in my opinion. We went with the roasted red pepper salad. Literally only spinach and red pepper - which is what it said on the menu I suppose but definitely not what you'd expect for $9 salad. We also got a pizza - half shroomy goat, half bbq chicken. The bbq sauce was definitely somewhat off. I felt the shroomy goat also had another odd flavor but I can't describe it. I suppose if you were gluten free this would be a great place because if their options but otherwise I think you can find much more tasty, interesting and/or economical pizzas around. read more

I tried this place based on the 5 star Yelp reviews. Call me boo-zshe because I'm from Northern California but this place's signature dish was anything but outstanding. Chicken Lasagna with pesto sauce, ricotta cheese and Mariana sauce was subpar--dry canned diced chicken breast in between lasagna pasta with minimal sauce and even less seasoning. Chefs that cook their pasta in unsalted water are doomed to serve lackluster dishes. I am not a fan and I won't be back. Patrons may have better luck with their pizzas. read more
