My first time here at Renoos , and let me tell you it is delicious. The service was prime! The food was delicious! The restaurant is lovely and the ambience is awesome. The owners are very attentive, came out to see if everything was good and that we had everything we needed. I had Thai food in New York City and this to me was better. Thai hot is Thai hot. I live near by but I encourage people to take the drive and enjoy good food , and and while you are at it enjoy the view. Come out here !! read more

The back of the restaurant on the outside doesn't look inviting. But...go inside and you won't be disappointed! Food is flavorful, portions are large and kitchen is clean, I know because I got a personal tour of it. Owners and staff are very friendly. This is now my favorite restaurant in cruces! They value their customers, they care about how you like the food! The staff is fantastic the medium heat is too hot for me but that's okay it's Thai food it's suppose to be lol. 10 out of 10 if there were more stars I'd press them. GLAD YOU'RE BACK OUT ON THE EAST SIDE I was so happy to hear that Renoo's Thai restaurant is back out at its original location in Organ after a couple years in the wilderness. This time it's called Renoo's Thai Time. As before the restaurant is split up into two rooms. The main dining area has around four tables which have padded chairs....two per table..... and about twelve to fifteen metal tables with artificial wood tops that are covered by a clear permanent plastic cover. The chairs at these tables are metal and not super comfortable. Inside the restaurant is clean and the walls are decorated with a few heads of the Buddha and other Thai works of art. A little incense was burning up over a window. Pop music from the sixties was playing throughout....a little too loud in my opinion. I would not say that this is an elegant or impressive place in which to dine, but it is fine for casual dining. Inside the doorway is a sign that says, "seat yourself." A young waitress ("Taylor"???) immediately brought a menu and continued to provide very good and pleasant service. The menu is almost exclusively Thai food. The prices are moderate. Today I ordered DRUNKEN NOODLES which came with a bowl of soup. I also ordered their "Thai Fried Shrimp Roll" appetizer. The so-called shrimp rolls were like little spring rolls. The outside was flakey and they were prepared just right. The Thai sweet-n-sour dipping sauce was delicious with a little zing. All-in-all, this was a nice appetizer. The soup was very good. It was creamy and contained pieces of chicken. Perfectly seasoned. The main dish.....the Drunken Noodles....I ordered with pork. They ask if you want your dish mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot. I chose medium. The nice waitress brought some hot red pepper sauce to the table in case I wanted to upgrade to "Hot." I did use a little as the medium did lack a little punch. The drunken noodle dish contained a lot of pork; they certainly were not parsimonious with the meat. Slices of carrot, red and green bell pepper, and onion were present. The flat noodles were rather short and there were not a lot of them for a noodle dish. This kind of caused everything to blend into a mass on the plate. This is not quite how a drunken noodle dish should be prepared. The meal was a little bland....not highly seasoned....but fortunately there was some really good fish sauce available on the table which I added to the meal. This gave it a nice pickup in flavor. All-in-all, this was a good dish but not an outstanding Thai dish. What to expect if you go: First, I suggest that you turn off route 70 on the street before you get to the building and enter the parking lot from the north side. Inside you will find a place that is ok for casual dining, fairly good service, prices that are "moderate" and good food (certainly above average) but not outstanding Thai food. Still, it is really nice to have this little restaurant once again in this locality. Restaurant rating = FOUR-AND-A-QUARTER STARS....meaning, a good dining experience to be had. read more

Sooo good! If you're looking for a hidden gem, Renoo's is it! Very hole in the wall, walk in and it's beautiful and food is amazing kind of experience. I moved to las cruces and had been missing Thai food and Renoo's is the closest and best Thai food here. My favorite dish there is the curry with tofu and my boyfriend loves the drunken rice with chicken. The pad Thai is my second favorite! If your headed to white sands through las cruces then Renoo's is right on the way and a perfect place to stop! read more

Decent. Tastes close to home. However, papaya salad is too sweet. I find it odd they serve everything as entree and not single bowls of soup or salad by itself? The papaya salad comes w rice and soup (non Thai) or salad (American) like the rest of entrees. It's def made for Americans compared to authentic... anyways, got here & had to ask if I seat myself or wait? Then was seated, gave my order & other waitress didn't think I was serviced yet ... lol then ordered & inquired about ingredients which they didn't really have answers for. Are my food which was good but then never asked how it was. Had to ask other waitress for water... and waited a long time for my check. Only three to four other tables here. Wonder Thai. I used to live in LA and I am accustomed to good Thai. This place is AMAZING. Everything is wonderful!! Yellow curry-excellent, drunken noodles-- WONDERFUL. Like others I was sad when Renoo's closed in Las Cruces a while back. Then I hear that they're open again in Organ, NM close to where I work. So I'm thinking this is a great place for lunch maybe once a week. Unfortunately, they are just way too slow for a lunch while working and I've tried it several times. Last time, it was well over an hour from the time we sat down till we got food. So a Friday lunch turned into staying late at work to make up for the lost time :( A friend from work went this past Monday (federal holiday) so only 3 people total in the restaurant. He timed it and it was 40 minutes from when he sat down till his food arrived. While this place is convenient from my work, it is not convenient from my house and consequently I just won't be going back. read more

RUSHED FROM THE MOMENT I ARRIVED. Food was just OK. No matter how good the food is at a restaurant, the experience SURROUNDING the food itself can either enhance or diminish the experience. While I arrived well before closing, I felt rushed from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I was greeted by a server who was not smiling or even looking at me, but instead was looking at their watch making sure (despite arriving to a nearly empty restaurant) I wasn't too late. As I was eating I heard the server ask the only other table in the place if she could take their payment "because they were closing soon" (which was still over ten minutes away at the time), and then despite my interest in a dessert (that they were completely out of, by the way), my check was just delivered to my table without asking if I wanted anything else--a pet peeve in itself, but worse when I was already feeling rushed. (I guess on the bright side nobody was trying to upsell me anything, lol.) For those who haven't been here, this place is quite the long drive away from Las Cruces (by Cruces standards), and regardless of the cute decor and lighting at Renoos, and in spite of the decent food I had, those things aren't SO compelling that it's going to make me want to take the time to drive out only to be rushed. I'm VERY conscientious about a restaurant's closing time and if anything I'll try to get out quickly, but at most places on the rare occasion that happens I'm often told, "hey no rush! Take your time!" This experience was the opposite of that; I was rushed even though there was still plenty of time before closing. read more

The food is good, service is lame/slow, and if you have allergies or food restrictions, do not rely on them to get it right (VEGANS BEWARE). I ordered a soup dish to be made vegan but ended up with shards of chicken in it. They offered to take the dish off the check which was great until they proceeded to offer me a sample of their coconut ice cream. We were reassured it was made with only coconut milk but were told it contained milk cream AFTER we finished eating it all. What a shame. They need to be more careful and considerate about customer needs. If I had allergies, they would be dealing with my lawyer. read more

As much as we've enjoyed some meals there, the continuously bad service of incomplete meals in which we've paid for along with desserts and apps has reached our max tolerance level. When a to-go order is only 70% complete, that's not okay. To top it off, the owner (male) offers a 10% discount on next order as if we want to be disappointed again. How about replacing and remaking the meal you've messed up which was already purchased. Your lack of attention to detail has reflected in your meals, quality of food, and competence in bagging the entire order. Your unwillingness to make this bad experience better by accepting the opportunity to correct this reflects in your demeaning, rude behavior. Your attitude and poor customer service over this $11.99 meal just cost you hundreds in losing our business...forever! Further, I can no longer recommend you to the many colleagues I've done in the past. read more
