Such a delightful surprise. As I walked in, the place was simple decorated, clean. I was seated immediately, the server was a young man, well mannered and friendly. The menu was easy to navigate. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu. It was delicate and scrumptious, perfect amount of heat and sauce. I enjoyed every bite of it. I also ordered spring rolls, which were served piping hot. Lovely place for a relaxed dinner after a long day of riding my motorcycle.

I was stuck in Alamogordo for a month. I tried numerous places from Mexican to burgers to the winery. This semi sketchy looking place is my favorite restaurant in Alamogordo, nothing comes close for food and options. My coworker and I ate there four days a week and ate almost everything on the menu. This place is 100% family run with the mother and grandmother, cooking and younger siblings, waiting tables. The Pho is fantastic, the curries are fantastic, and the wait staff was awesome. I live in New York and eat this type of food all the time, it is possibly my favorite type of food. If this place was in my city, I would still eat there every week. I have been back to Alamogordo twice and find myself going back here like it's home. Like I said, doesn't look like much inside or outside, but the food is fantastic!!!!

When you need somewhere that has a little bit of everything Asian, this is the place. The shrimp fried rice was tasty. No complaints on the food! The place was small and the tables and chairs could use some updating. They were short staffed. But everyone was very friendly. They were out of couple things that were on the menu. Really wanted an egg drop soup but it was gone.

This is the "extra" spice that we picked out of one of our dishes.

My wife and I, with our three kids (5yo, 2yo, and 5mo) traveled to Alamogordo on a Wednesday evening during Spring Break on our way back to Texas from Colorado. There were two or three other tables filled when we arrived. We were greeted and seated quickly. The restaurant was dated but pretty clean. The kids were starving, so we ordered the tempura shrimp. This came out first (and quickly). The shrimp were great, the sauce was a bit oil heavy. I ordered the pad kraw prow with beef (spice level 3 out of 10). Wife ordered pad see ew with chicken (spice level 3 out of 10). We both ordered a more mild spice level that we would normally so that we could share with the kids. Both dishes were far more spicy than we expected...not too spicy for us, but both of our older kids indicated it was too spicy for them. The pad kraw prow had a MUCH thicker sauce than I am used to. It wasn't bad, just different. The pad see ew that my wife is used to eating has broccoli and carrots; however, this version had green bell pepper instead of carrots. Again, not terrible, just different. The appetizer ($7+), two dinner dishes ($16+ each), and an extra bowl of rice (which we didn't get charged for ) plus a generous tip was $49.74 (we drank water) Thai food is one of our favorites...this didn't quite make it for us. Not bad, just not our style...and a bit pricy for what you get. No need to stay away, just not at the top of our list.

Ordered take out while visiting in town at the National park. I ordered the veggie pad Thai, delicious. The sauce was different than I expected, but still good. Thai tea was overly sweet. My partner ordered the chicken and steak hibachi dinner and it was good. Included a choice of soup, he selected egg drop. All in all good food. The inside and outside of this place definitely leave a lot to be desired, but don't let that scare you off.

Don't waste your money here. First of all the sign outside says it's a Chinese restaurant and there's no hot and sour soup, just the nasty Thai version of hot and sour soup. I don't like that type because it tastes like vinegar and tofu. Take the Chinese off the sign if you're not going to serve Chinese food. The yakitori? the chicken was questionable. It looked barely cooked. I didn't like it. I also didn't like the egg rolls. I told them I didn't like the food I took one bite of each food and they charged me full price anyway. The restaurant was clean I can't complain about that and the server was really nice. They should turn this into a Chinese restaurant or put more Chinese menu items on. So yeah save your money, don't go to this place. I got to be honest, the food tasted microwaved.

Heard about this place and read its reviews. Most were negative but I was never one to take others word for it. First if all, I usually love what others don't like and I wont ever trust someone else's palette to determine what is delicious to me. My family and i came in twice during the same week, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both service times we were treated to respectful staff, great food (we ordered several appetizers, combo dishes and pho). The kitchen even made a special dish for me that wasn't on their menu. We love this local Asian restaurant. From its comfy home decor, pleasant staff, and wonderful dishes made fresh right in the heart of Alamogordo!

If you like Thai curry, this is the spot for you. We tried it because the reviews are pretty good and I couldn't agree more. The green curry is rich and creamy with just enough spice to satisfy your need for heat without overpowering the dish. The yellow curry is sweet and my husband thinks it's some of the best Thai curry he's had this side of the pacific. The place is an absolute hole, but don't let that fool you. Hole-in-the-walls are often deceptively rewarding and much easier to exceed expectations. this place absolutely fits that bill. We also ordered fries for the kids (because, kids) and they were ridiculously delicious too. Nothing special, just perfectly salted, hot and crispy crinkle cut fries. Everything we had was so delicious and satisfying, we will definitely be recommending it to our foodie friends passing through, and we'll be coming back whenever we're in town. The service was fine, it wasn't busy when we came in so our food came out quickly and we were able to pay and leave easily and without fuss.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - Dinner for Two with Green Curry with pork at mild and Pineapple Fried Rice…read morewith pork at mild. The green curry was mostly bamboo shoots and green curry paste. You don't really get the aroma for the coconut or basil and there was barely any bell peppers. It was very one dimensional flavor that was mostly just spicy. It's a small portion of curry and TINY portion of rice so we did have to get additional food after. The fried rice was disappointing as well since it was very salty and the rice was a bit mushy. The pineapple and slices of cucumbers were very necessary to offset the saltiness but it was still overwhelming. Flavor profile was one dimensional again of just salty. The two jar (maraschino) cherry was a bit confusing and didn't fit the dish. The Appetizer Sampler: the vegetarian spring roll was decent with a nice fry on the outside and packed with veggies on the inside. Not much flavor by itself, but there are multiple sauces you can try with and the texture was good. The chicken wings were very salty on the outside and dry on the inside. The fried wontons with pork filling.... Well, the sampler doesn't specifically say so it could be just fried empty wontons since that's what we think we got. One of the pieces had a tiny piece of protein but the others were empty. It was also fried to death Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. The front door has an obnoxious buzz that goes off ever time it opens. While the decorations are themed, the restaurant does feel messy as there are things everywhere. The restaurant does seem older as there are water stains on the ceiling tile and very harsh white light. A TV was in the corner with a sports game on but no music Service: 5/5 - she was super nice and friendly and gave us multiple recommendations on what to get. She was attentive while she dealt with multiple customers and a pick up order at the same time Value for price: 1/5 - First, the menu on their website is out of date so add $2-4 for every dish. Bad and expensive food makes this a no go for us

What was good: the Panang Curry was very flavorful with complex curry paste and peanut flavor that was palate enriching and satisfying. It was a little more spicy than what I would typically expect for a mild curry but very good. The interior of the restaurant was also very nice and surprising considering the restaurant is about 20 minutes from Las Cruces in an underdeveloped area near the mountains. What was disappointing: My Pad Thai was rather bland with only one real flavor note. I typically expect more tamarind flavor which usually gives that sweet, sour, and salty flavor that just wasn't present in the dish. If anything, it almost tasted like tomatoes were part of the sauce. I asked for some lime which made it better but this dish was a big no for me. Also, the mango sticky rice was kind of bland unlike the thicker, tongue velveting texture you expect. The server actually said that the person who typically makes the mango sticky rice was not working when we were there. Service: This was also a bit frustrating. They seemed understaffed but the dining room wasn't that big. Maybe four or five tables being served. We waited about ten minutes for our drink order after getting the menu and then longer to take our order. The food came out about ten minutes later but our server didn't check on us for refills or to see if we needed anything. We asked for the mango sticky rice to come out with our meal but it didn't arrive until almost 15 minutes after we finished our food. The server was kind enough to give a small discount on the sticky rice because it took so long (which we appreciated). In the end, I wanted to give this restaurant a three out of five but the quality of the food and delays in service were just too much in the end. I'll try some of the other Thai restaurants around town next time.

I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first since there aren't a ton of dining options in the area and I had already had a disappointing experience at another restaurant earlier in the trip. As soon as we walked in though, my first impression changed. The place was very clean and organized, we were greeted right away, and seated quickly. Service was friendly and efficient from the start. I ordered a Thai tea and the egg rolls as an appetizer, while my coworker got the potstickers. Both came out quickly and were hot and fresh. They each came with dipping sauces, but there was an orange sauce on the table that reminded me of a spicy mayo and was really good with everything. For my meal, I ordered the ramen stir-fry, which was savory and flavorful with plenty of vegetables, protein, and a generous portion size. It definitely left me satisfied, and my coworker enjoyed his meal as well. Overall, it was a great, quick dinner experience - clean restaurant, friendly service, and good food.
