I was skeptical because of the high yelp rating, like maybe they offered some discount for a good review. I mean, who loves their mechanic that much? But no, they are really that awesome, and I have never used the word "awesome" and "mechanic" in a sentence before. They were nice, funny, honest, fast and did great work for less than I was expecting. I came in to get a hood latch repaired and they took me into the garage to show and explain to me exactly what they were doing during the repair. Before I left they made sure I was satisfied with the final product. They didn't give me the typical spiel: "Your car is about to explode and kill you but I can fix it for $1,000." They just did the work I asked for and every employee was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be coming here for future repairs. read more

I brought my BMW 2003 325i to this shop at the end of 2013. The steering pump they replaced my original with was some after- market cheep item that malfunctioned on cold mornings. I went back- Alex said he has to see it for himself (even after seeing the video) so I ended up going back on very cold evening, leave my car there overnight , come back in the morning just to prove that what I said is true. Red flag number one- if this mechanic does not trust me, should I trust him? Why did I have to make 5 trips to this place to get one job done? Finally they replaced it again- same story. Alex the manager replied even on a holiday that they were closed. I was really surprised that I found a mechanic with over 200 reviews and 5 star feedback. Next day I went to this mechanic and met Alex. They diagnosed my car and fixed it. This place was very busy(witch is a good sign) but was able to fix my car in a fairly timely manner. My car is still under warranty but I never hesitate to bring it here for things that I know aren't covered. It's a no frills no gimmicks type of neghborhood repair shop where you get what you pay for and then some. The dealer might give you free coffee and sandwiches but you can buy yourself a lot of surf and turf dinners with the money you're saving here. Russell runs the show, he tells it like it is without trying to screw anyone. . It gets hectic sometimes because of his loyal following of customers but I usually get in an out within an hour or two. Shops like this are hard to come by. He may be a loud talking chain smoker but don't let that fool you. He really does care. read more

My experience with previous mechanics in queens area has been awful. So after a quite a bit of research I've found these guys with incredible reviews and thought to give a shot. It was well worth the trip to brooklyn. Angela and Shawn were amazing. They helped me figure out what my previous mechanic screwed up with my car. In fact I found out here that my previous mechanic from "punjab auto" in astoria queens has deliberately cut off my ABS sensor, and in the name of oil change mechanics from "punjab auto" did not do anything. Angela from "Repair on Wheels" gave me advices and discounts as well. The mechanic was meticulous and did a really good job. Angela even told me to get an undercarriage was from somewhere and she is going to check my oil leak for free. Well, you don't get this kind of service from anywhere else. I Came here after work to see if they can fix my problem. My car is squeaking a lot while I drive, so I wanted to see if they can check it out. It's 12:30 am and I go since it's open 24hours. I get there and there's three guys just sitting there and I talk to one of them. He says "we can't help you tonight. I got a guy going to lunch and another one working, plus we don't have parts for your car. Come back tomorrow if you want". How do you tell me you don't got anyone to help me meanwhile you and two other mechanics are just sitting there talking. It's 24 hours for a reason. Bad customer service. We discovered a flat tire in Windsor Terrace at about 1:15 PM on Sunday and thought our plans for the day were toast. Came here yesterday(July 8th) with some noise coming from the front end of the car. Took us in quickly and gave it a test drive with a personal assessment. They took it up on lift and gave their best guess and recommended we change the front left tire. They took out the tire and showed us the warping that was occurring.
