They informed me that I would be charged two flat fees of $165 in addition to the cost of the parts needed to repair my elliptical. I immediately called Gene while the technicians were still at my home, but he did not answer. When I later explained that I should not be charged the $165 fee twice if I was proceeding with the repair through them, he refused and was quite rude. Because of this, I chose not to have them complete the repair. I did, however, pay the initial $165 as requested. Just be aware: they will charge the $165 fee twice even if you choose to move forward with the repair. In my experience, the pricing was not transparent, and the communication was unprofessional.

When I first reached out they immediately followed up with me and were able to get their tech over to my place the same day to assess the issues I was having with my with my NordicTrack treadmill. Communication and follow through were top notch throughout the repair process, and the tech, Justin, is a really knowledgeable, easy going, solid guy. Simply put, he's someone you'll immediately feel comfortable leaving unsupervised in your home. And importantly, when their initial repair attempt didn't solve the problem, they dug in to see what else might be happening and attempted another repair, but this time they said they wouldn't charge me for the parts or labor for it unless it worked. Unfortunately, it also didn't work, despite them putting a lot of time/effort into it, so the next option was to replace by my entire console, including the screen! Not a cheap option, but again, Huff-n-Puff stepped up got the cost down way lower than it normally would have been for that due to the extenuating circumstances. And so far so good with the new console installed. Yay! I believe you can often tell more about a vendor when things don't go quite according to plan than when they do. Huff-n-Puff treated me very fairly, went above and beyond, and didn't give up until my repair was closed out. I really felt like a valued customer and that they genuinely cared about having a successful outcome. Two thumbs up!

My elliptical was very carefully packed and first delivered to my garage on a pallet. A couple days later, technicians came and set the unit up in the room I use as a gym. I asked them how to purchase (I've basically forgotten how to shop during these times) and they told me to come on by. I put on my mask and gloves and made my way to Fitness Warehouse, which is open til 6pm during the week. I was greeted a few friendly men who showed me a few different options. I was thrilled they had had exactly what I needed and weren't price gouging the weights like the rest of the industry. They were also nice enough to throw them in my trunk for me. I stopped at weights, but they had tons of cardio equipment, balls, kettleballs, bands and everything else one needs for an in home workout. I TRIED placing an order back at the end of March before I was even working and when I first attempted to order, the website allowed me to create an account, select scrubs, enter in my card information BUT when I clicked submit order I got an error message saying error something went wrong. I tried again at the end of the day and same thing. My first day comes and I have no official scrubs to wear to work. I tried ordering again and same error message. I decided to order through Cintas (wonderful experience with them), seeing as I had no uniform to wear to work, and needed them fast. A few weeks go by and I get a phone call that one out of my three orders from La Bella Uniforms is ready!?! I immediately call the store and was directed to the manager. I explained that on three separate occasions I tried placing an order, all of them giving me an error code so I was under the assumption my orders where never placed!?! I was told that despite the error message (which is their fault), I am still responsible for the scrubs as there are no returns. I asked why I was being forced to buy scrubs I was led to believe I never ordered and all I was told is there are no refunds. I asked why I never received a confirmation email that these orders did actually get placed and was told they don't send confirmation emails. So you will allow me to create an account with my email but you can't send me a confirmation email with my information that you already have. This is literally the only thing online that I have ever purchased that I couldn't or didn't receive a confirmation email for!? In today's world of online ordering, it's just ridiculous!! My nightmare doesn't end there. It's now almost two months later and my other two orders that I never knew I placed, are still pending!?! I again don't get updated emails but I have to log into my account at work to see it's not even completed.
