My LG front load washer broke. This company pleasantly surprised me. I really dread the whole process of finding help, scheduling appointments, and waiting and unpredictable amount of time for repairs to get done. I prefer to procrastinate. But we have 3 animals and wash a lot of laundry, and we already had a stack of crunchy soapy towels that I had to pull out of the washer and throw in the yard when the machine quit mid-cycle. So this couldn't wait. I looked half-heartedly on NextDoor, then on Yelp, just to be able to say that I did something about the problem. On Yelp I used the request quote button and wrote a short description of my problem with my 10-year-old LG he frontload washer: "machine starts, locks, drum rocks to test the weight of the load, and begins adding water. But the drum only turns a couple of times, making an awful noise as it turns, then the machine stops with an error code (LE, I think)." A couple of minutes later, Mahal called me to say he could take a look in about 45 minutes, which was amazing. I figured that I'd have to clean up after diagnosis, then wait days or weeks to order parts, then schedule another appointment. But at least I could get this initial step done immediately. Mahal then arrived early and started diagnosis. I left him alone for a few minutes. When I went back to check, he had already installed the replacement sensor and was testing the machine! Then he put everything back in place and cleaned up. I realize that this might not always be the case, but he keeps some commonly-broken parts in his vehicle. I can't tell you how much it means to me to be able to get this out of the way so quickly and with so little inconvenience to my family. I thought it was a very reasonable price, too. We were able to pay with Zelle. And Mahal was so nice. I asked him to diagnose my leaking portable dehumidifier while he was here, but alas it's one of those unserviceable models so he couldn't do anything for it. But I was grateful to have his professional opinion all the same, and it was very nice of him to look at it.
