AAA Windows was the first estimate that we obtained in replacing our home's existing windows via Simonton retrofit. We were impressed by Mr. Becker's educational presentation, professionalism, and willingness to answer any and all questions. He was very upfront about the reasoning behind his ability to offer higher quality products at lower pricing. And everything he said to watch for in other contractor presentations came true. Several estimates later, we came back to AAA windows even though there would be a significant delay to installation due to the owners', who made the final measurements, planned vacation. Mr. Becker had our trust that much. Installation went through without a hitch. The 5 windows and patio door were installed in one day and they look beautiful. And true to Chuck's word, they are instrumental in insulating against noise, dust, and the elements. So why not 5 stars? Although the installation went well, I was a bit disappointed about AAA not replacing the window coverings upon completion. I really think that the extra 20 minutes on their behalf would have saved us several hours in putting them back up. We are not the handiest of people, so this is something that, in my point of view, we needlessly labored with. Out of three contractors that I have worked with at 3 separate residences, AAA was the only one who did not replace the window coverings. Also, we have been attempting to obtain another estimate to install a window where presently there is a non-operational air conditioner. Their responsiveness has been way below average. It does not appear that they are the least bit interested in meeting to provide an estimate, but would rather us take a picture and sent it to them. What? It makes me extremely apprehensive about the possibility of filing a claim in case of breakage. read more

I had my condo windows and sliding door installed by AAA Windows 4 Less and I'm very pleased with the work quality that Vladimir's team delivered. My condo was on a busy and noisy street and after some research I had opted Simonton Daylight Max with laminated glass. The noise level had tremendously decreased from 60db to 40db average. On top of that, my windows and door look beautiful which make the whole condo more cozy and appealing. From the day I received the quote to the day of installation it took about 2 1/2 weeks, which had exceeded my expectation. We wanted to replace the old windows in the house we were buying and got quotes from three different places that were all recommended to us. Vlad came to measure everything and discuss different options with us. He seemed by far the most knowledgeable about his products among the people we talked to. His price came in lower, too, and he was able to do the work sooner, so we went with him. The installation ended up taking a full four days (which was one day longer than expected). Overall we are quite happy with the result; the windows look good and work well, including providing much better insulation against sun, heat and noise than the old ones. As another reviewer also said, the window coverings (blinds in our case) were not put back up, and in several cases the existing holes were not reusable, so we had to drill new holes, and it was all a bit much for us amateurs and took several hours over several days, so I'm deducting one star for that, even if that has nothing to do with the quality of the windows or the price. It's been about a year and a half since I got my windows and sliding door installed. A couple of days ago, perhaps due to the colder weather, the patio door lock jammed and I couldn't open the patio door. We are very pleased with "AAA Windows 4 Less" and highly recommend them to anyone. We interviewed ~10 contractors before hiring them. By the time we had an appointment with "AAA Windows 4 Less" we've already chosen type of windows we would like to get: "Simonton DayLightMax" Our decision to hire this company was not only based on the price they gave us, but also on the level of details Vlad (company owner) provided to us. He explained many specifics related to the windows replacement in our house. That includes replacing security sensors, blinds, etc. Most contractors we interviewed did not pay attention to the type of the security sensors at all (although they were aware of the security sensor's in our house). I am glad that Vlad pointed us to that at the beginning, because otherwise we would have much bigger issue. - We had hybrid sensors instead of WI-FI and their replacement is more difficult on the new windows. It also could've damaged the new windows. Vlad was the only contractor, who pointed to the new regulation on the Windows's glass that went into affect in San Jose area. That new regulation requires glass code to support hot weather in our area, and was not default glass code for Simonton windows. That means the new code should be mentioned in the contract. We had only one offer we the cheaper price than Vlad gave to us. The difference was negligible and we decided to go with Vlad's company based on the above. Great experience with AAA Windows 4 Less. Booked an appointment with Vlad to get the windows measured and an estimate. Vlad did all the measurements and given that I had already selected Simonton Daylightmax windows, he said he approved them and didn't want to waste time discussing other potential windows. He gave me the estimate which was right around what I was expecting. I then met with two other window companies. Not only were their estimates much higher, but they also spent a lot of time trying to convince me to buy higher grade windows with extra flair. Gave Vlad the call later that day and had a contract done the next day to order the windows. Once the windows came in, Vlad booked a time for Gary and Ike to come by and install the windows. They came and got the job done in a day without issue. Windows look great, no touch up or any damage to the window frame or the surrounding area. My upstairs bathroom window had some water damage that slowly became noticeable over several years. It was a annoying problem because I couldn't tell how rain water was getting into the house. I've done several visual inspections of the area around the window and it looked properly caulked from the outside. I've also talked to several general contractors and did not get anywhere. I contacted a roofing contractor to see if the rain water was somehow entering the house from the roof. The roofing contractor did not think it was coming from the roof and suggested that I contact a local window replacement company in the San Mateo Vlad came out and removed the damaged window trimming and conducts several water tests. Then identified a crack with the window frame. At which point, AAA Windows 4 less worked with the window manufacturer to have them come out and do some independent water tests. Simonton gave us a brand new window. Boris installed the window. He's a perfectionist. Lina from the office was great as well. She was always easy to get a hold of and had excellent contacts with the window manufacturer. As such, I was very impressed by the excellent customer service. I looked at no less than 9 installation companies and had 4 come in to quote. I chose AAA Windows to quote due to the high Yelp reviews. Vladamir and his partner were friendly, responsive and capable from day one. I highly recommend AAA for quality of installation and the best price. Vladamir is old school and is very straight forward and professional. He was very courteous, came to my house and efficiently measured my whole house for new windows. His quote was lower than the competition by a good margin. The competition than lowered their prices but still could not match AAA. As an engineer, I liked the fact that he took time to explain things to me. What he did not give me was too much of the salesman buff and fluff. I appreciated that. The installation went smooth without a hiccup. Throughout the whole experience AAA was very responsive and friendly. I asked a lot of questions and made some changes. They were very patient. How does AAA compete with such a low cost? I think the answer is they are very efficient in what they do. I was an engineer at Toyota for 7 years and I can recognize efficiency when I see it.
