We recently had AAA replace 7 windows and one sliding glass door in our house. We received four bids on this job and AAA had the lowest price. I didn't plan on going with the lowest price just because it was the lowest, but I was impressed with their efficiency. First, the owner, Vladamir, came out to do the quote and he took exact measurements as if he already had the job. The other companies sent out a sales person who said that an installer would be back to take exact measurements IF they got the job. In my mind, thats a wasted step in the process that AAA efficiently cuts out. Also, Vladamir was able to inform me that the design that i had drawn up looked good on paper, but it wouldnt work in real life. He was able to offer design changes on the spot that would look better and save me money. Second, Vladamir got me his quote in 2 days. The next best price i got came from a company the took nearly two weeks to get me their number. Also, every time I emailed Vladamir with a question or a materials / design change he got back to me is less that one day. Third, AAA was able to replace my sliding glass door without breaking out the existing stucco. They pulled out the existing frame as if it were "new contruction" so the new door opening would be as big as the old opening, but they managed to avoid breaking away the stucco like a typical "new construction" installation. It was a hybrid new construction/ retrofit installation. This meant that the whole job could be done in one day and there's no doubt that that meant more savings for me. Fourth, the installers were very focused and methodical, but any time i had a question about the materials or method of installation, they took time to explain in detail. They seemed to take pride in their trade. AAA will provide a high quality product and installation at a very good price because Vladamir has decades of experience with the materials AND installation. He is able to understand the whole project from the very start as he is taking measurements. This translates into savings for you because it eliminates wasteful steps and unnecessary communication between multiple employees with fragmented knowlege. read more

I had a duplex and replaced all the windows and sliding doors for both units. The cost is good. The service was not good to average. The first unit, the workers left behind screws and didn't redo the blinds. I made the comment to the owner and then they did a better job in the second unit. There were holes in the stucco because I removed all the security bars. I would have at least expect them to patch these holes with instant stucco but that I had to do this also. A tenant then broke one pane of the sliding door. I called them to see if they could repair this and they never called me back. I tried call several times but received no answer so I gave up on them. Some times, you do get what you paid for but, most of the time, people just want low cost. If you want low cost then definitely go for these folks. Just be super specific on what you're expecting to ensure you get it. What they don't do during and after installation, means you'll need to finish it yourself. I'm a handy man, so I knew how to finish up but not everyone will be in my position. read more

I contacted AAA Windows 4 Less when we just closed our house. I wanted to replace the existing windows that were pretty old but wanted to get it done before we moved in. Chuck came by to look at the house and provide a quote. We were working under a pretty tight budget since we had some other things that we needed to fix. The other thing, as mentioned above, was a tight schedule to get it done prior to moving in. After we agreed on the cost, Chuck promised that he would try his best to push the manufacturer to get the order ready within our timeline. At the same time, he estimated that the work would be done in two days once the windows were ready. Vlad came by a few days after Chuck did to take accurate measurements of all the windows. He did it very quickly and he explained to me why certain things had to be done in a certain way. He also showed me how to remove the blinds prior to installation which is pretty easy. Within 2.5 weeks, I got a phone call that the windows were ready and the installers were available to come over the weekend. The installers (Gary) came on time (even earlier) than the time we agreed upon. They got to work right away. They definitely knew exactly what they were doing. Gary told me that they would get the installation done in two days. They got all the windows and a sliding door installed the next day. They left no mess and cleaned everything up. First you will make an appointment with their sales, Chuck in my case, at the place you want your window to install. Chuck is knowledgeable and helpful and provided me the best solution based on my situation. After that, Vlad, the owner of AAA windows, will come to do some measurement, get the deposit so they can order the windows. Windows should be ready within a month, 2 weeks and a couple days in my case, and then Vlad will call to schedule installation. We were a relatively complicated case in that we had four gigantic windows with a curved top that needed to be replaced. We wanted to respect the style of the house while being on a budget. Vlad and his team delivered the best quality/price quote. The installation went smoothly (although I do have to hire somebody else to fix few wooden damage to the window frames) and the windows look beautiful. They even called the window manufacturer (Cascade) on my behalf (and without me bringing up the issue to them) because two windows where not sliding properly. Which brings up why 4 stars instead of 5 and why I had not reported the malfunctioning windows proactively: I had an hard time dealing with Vlad. It's probably me, but in several occasions I found him short and frankly rude to a point that rather than having to interact with him again I would have rather lived with brand new windows not sliding well. Research: I searched long and hard for a window installer. I called several different companies, and although many of them came and gave me free estimates, all seemed ridiculously expensive. I believe all of them would have done a great job, but many of them seemed like they just wanted to up-sell me and tell me how great they were. I'm a to-the-point kind of guy and I hate being taken advantage of. I do much of my own handy work and can smell BS pretty well. Then I called AAA Windows for less. Negotiation: When they first came to my house they were very nice and sat down with me to go over everything after they measured. This company seemed a bit old school and the man told me he doesn't work on commission. This was nice and so he wasn't exactly in it for the sale. He was in it to be honest and I can really appreciate that. The price was much lower for my Simonton windows than any other company. AAA Windows also didn't try to up-sell me to Milgard also. We were doing retrofit and the Milgard took WAY TOO MUCH WINDOW. So Simonton was the brand of choice for us. After confirming payment, the owner Vlad came out and measured everything to ensure that his guys were spot on. Everything seemed right, so we proceeded to make the final orders. Installation: The guys were quick to get in and knock out all the windows. (This was fun to watch). They ensured that everything was up to par and then they started the installation. There weren't any issues with installation. They came the 2nd day and finished everything up. Everything was great and I was quite impressed by the trim they used. It made my windows and doors look pretty fancy. There was one misunderstanding - They ordered our kitchen sliding door the opposite way (sliding to the right as opposed to sliding to the left). It was a simple misunderstanding. I let them know it was wrong, they called the owner and said "Hey Vlad, the customer says the door is opposite." I talked to Vlad, we confirmed a few things, and said 'Our mistake, we'll get you a new door." They installed the existing wrong door (because they had to order the new one). When the new door arrived, they called me to setup a time. They came and finished everything in 1 day. OVERALL: I made the right choice choosing AAA Windows for Less. They were efficient and did a good job. Of course, nothing is perfect - his installers didn't speak fluent English. But with the money I saved from other guys, I could care less. They didn't break anything. I have no leaks far into winter - They were installed July 2014. The windows look awesome. My bank account is lighter. BOTTOM LINE - They might not seem savvy business men, but they did a killer job on my windows. If I needed more windows done, I'd choose them again. Oh, I almost forgot. I had two windows replaced 10 years ago, and they said they didn't want to and I didn't need to replace them. They were in good condition and provided good insulation.
