My wife and I conducted a huge search on window companies. We met with 5-7 companies to receive a free estimate. All of the companies wouldn't provide a quote on the spot as I read most companies wait to hear what other estimates are v so they can "beat the other company" on price. I didn't feel comfortable with this approach. I didn't like that most companies pushed for the expensive brand with no real recommendations on retrofit vs new construction. There was one company that stood out!! AAA windows! Chuck came out for the free estimate. He was so patient. Offered us real recommendations and walked us through all the options. He even urged us to keep some existing windows as they were a pretty unique shape and would not make sense to switch out. the sales person is not responsive at all when i'm trying to get quote and sincerely want to do business with AAA. First, the person came in for measurement was an hour late. Second, when I called for getting the quote (after 3 days), the email I got doesn't include specific specs and line item. I called back asking for those information, only knowing: 1. line item will not be provided; 2. the sales person will not come back until a week later and no one else will give me the spec. I would highly recommend AAA Windows. We had great experience with Vlad and Galina. We replaced 19 windows and 2 doors for about 30% lower cost than other vendors. My wife was worried how the work will be done since the prices are less but after reading all other reviews we took a chance and finally we are so happy and satisfied. Vlad is such a gentle man to work with. We wanted to do permit and Vlad helped fill up the city form and permit process looked so simple and smooth. We got our windows in about a month and Gary and team came and installed all of them in 2 days. We are very happy with the new windows. These guys are very good. Vlad, the owner, is a No-BS guy who knows exactly what he's doing. Other reviewers have noted that he could be a bit softer in his communication, but I appreciated how he, in a couple of cases, told me the way things needed to be and didn't sugar-coat it (I had planned to do this project myself, so I thought I knew what I was doing). Vlad was patient though, and explained why things needed to be done a certain way. And in one instance, I pointed out something to him (he couldn't have known - it was something the previous homeowners had done wrong) and he quickly recognized the issue and was not arrogant at all. Importantly, the windows a) look fantastic, b) were installed very well, and c) were very, very reasonably priced. If I had another project, I would call AAA first. read more

Once they received the deposit they ordered the windows quickly and had them installed in no time. They look GREAT. I had Triple AAA Windows come out to my house in Santa Clara to estimate window replacement for my one-story house. The rep (Chuck?) came and looked at every window and in the end decided that they couldn't help because my windows couldn't be retrofitted, and although there was one window which was single pane, it wasn't worth putting a job together. So although I didn't get service from AAA, the fact was the estimator took the time to explain everything to me in detail about how my windows were fitted, and even spent an extra 10 minutes to tell my wife and I how the quality of the windows mattered (vs. expense) for when we get our windows replaced -- which, unfortunately, will take a bit of construction work. I greatly appreciated the honesty, professionalism and openness the rep relayed to us, and if I have any work I think they can do in the future I won't hesitate to call. read more

I hired AAA windows to replace all of the windows in our home, 11 plus a large slider. The experience was great. I received a number of bids from others who were dishonest in my opinion and a real pain to get a strait answer out of. Vlad at AAA gave me the honest answers and great service from top to bottom. On the financial side, AAAs quote was significantly below all the others and they were able to upgrade the glass by telling us about a rebate from the manufacturer if we waited another month. NO other company offered this to us but AAA did! I can not stress how happy I am with the installation and quality. If I were do this all over again or recommend someone to my family and friends it would definitely be AAA windows. I couldn't be happier with our new windows or the service we received from AAA Windows. I had called a couple of other places first, waited hours or days for a call-back, and then told it would be more than a week just to get someone to come for an estimate. I called AAA expecting the same and was pleasantly surprised when they called me back in less than 1/2hr and scheduled someone to come for an estimate in less than a week. When I called I had mentioned that I had time off during August and was hoping to get the windows installed then. At the time the person I spoke with said he couldn't say for sure if it was possible, but would know better after coming out and seeing what we needed. A day later he called back and asked if I would be available for him to come out the following day. He had had a cancellation and remembered that I was in a bit of a time crunch so figured he'd schedule me in as soon as possible -Awesome! So easy and convenient to set up an appointment, Galina and Vlad were very responsive through the entire process. Apparently these guys have installed a number of windows in our condo complex so they knew exactly what HOA required and were very diligent in providing the specs for approval. I had a great experience with AAA windows. Vladimir was very accommodating - even when I forgot about our first Monday morning appointment to get sizing! (call it a case of the Mondays!!). His staff who actually installed the windows, did a very professional job with the Simonton double-pane windows. In total his installer (forget his name already!) installed 18 windows (side, small, sliding door, bedroom, above our nook, etc.). He covered all the floors so as not to leave a mess, got the job done in 2 days, and cleaned up well before leaving. He also did a phenomenal job with the trim and caulking around the windows. Very professional and what you would want when you replace your old drafty windows with new white shiny pretty ones. :) Finally, when I had forgotten until the last day to ask for a keyed entry lock (default just locks from the inside) for our outside sliding door Vladimir sent it over free of charge! We just had AAA replace all the windows in our home--about a dozen, including standard sliding windows, odd-shaped picture windows, and a large garden window in the kitchen. Vlad was one of the better contractors I've worked with -- very knowledgeable and willing to give advice. He came out personally to take the measurements and advise us on products shortly after I called, then scheduled the installation right away when the windows arrived. He had a few men in his crew, so they were able to install everything in a day. (This was a retrofit, not new construction.) The garden window took an extra week to manufacture, so they installed that separately; Vlad came out personally for that one as it was a more complex job.) The windows look great. We didn't get multiple bids (as he came to us very highly recommended), so I can't compare prices, but we felt like we got a fair price given the size of the job. read more

Especially the doors are easy to push and make a sturdy impression. They put in everything in two days. After each day the house was clean and fully operable. If there's a ZERO star, I would give it that. Didn't even show up for the first appointment to give us an estimate. The appt I made with Vlad was 10am on Tuesday (5/9); his wife left a message on Sunday (5/7) to confirm the appt is Monday (5/8). So, I figure no problem since I'm home on Monday anyway. Monday around 9:30am, she call again and said the appt is actually Tuesday. OK, the appt is back to the original time--again no problem since I already requested time off from work. Tuesday is here, now the time is 10:45am and still no show from Vlad and no call from wife also. NOW this is a BIG problem!!! I contacted AAA Windows 4 Less back in July about getting some new Simonton vinyl windows installed in our home in the East Bay. I initially spoke with Galina and she spent a lot of time with me answering my many questions related to warranty information, pricing, and the time frame in which they could get the job done. Ultimately, after speaking with several different potential vendors, I decided to go with AAA Windows for Less based upon their pricing, and based upon a good "family-oriented" business vibe I got from Galina. A couple of weeks later (I had a lot of scheduling conflicts with work and travel during that time), Vladimir, Galina's husband, came out to our home and did the installation of 14 windows. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, as well as the extra time spent on cleaning up when the job was finished. However, what earned the 5th start from me was what happened a couple of days later. While opening of of the newly installed windows in our bathroom, I noticed that there was minor issue with the window "sticking" a bit, making it difficult for my wife to open on her own. I called back Galina and Vladimir came back out to our property within two days and made the necessary adjustments at no extra cost. All in all, I had a very positive experience with AAA Windows 4 Less. They are an old-school, family-run business that wasn't the easiest one to find online. However, I am so glad I did and I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional help with their windows. read more
