My step daughter was turning 21, so I figured what better way to welcome her to "legal" drinking than with a ginormous Bloody Mary. We also ordered fried pickles, nachos, Philly cheesesteak, 2 burgers with fries, cheese sticks, onion rings, boneless buffalo wings and 7 drinks, the total bill was $120, not bad! First the drinks, I did not taste the margarita, but the person who did said it was pretty good and it was a decent size and strong. I had a Long Island iced tea, it was also a good size and pretty strong, but there was waaayyy too much sweet and sour mix in it, it was as tart as a margarita which was why I didn't order one and it was tequila heavy, so it was more like a margarita with coke in it. One person at our tables ordered a tequila sunrise, it was pretty decent again tequila heavy (I am in no way complaining) and not too sweet. Now that Bloody Mary, it came with a fried pickle, onion rings, olive, a hamburger, waffle fries regular pickles and a celery stick. The food on the the stick in the drink was all good, I really liked the onion rings, the celery had obviously been soaking in water for at least a couple of days, it was super watery, so I didn't eat it. But the Bloody Mary, I do not like Bloody Mary's, but this one was really really good, I would definitely order it again, it had the right amount of tobasco and the flavor was spot on. 2 thumbs up. The food was all pretty decent, I enjoyed the onion rings, they weren't too greasy, put the breading could have used a little more flavor, the buffalo wings were just ok, the fried pickle slices were really very good and I liked the fact that they use quartered pickle slices instead of pickle chips. The nachos were decent as well, I ordered with flour tortillas which was definitely the way to go. The Philly was just ok, nothing special. The service was slow and the food came out intermittently, not together and the waitress accidentally dumped the first huge glass of Long Island on the table, and didn't do a good job of getting it up, in her defense it was pretty busy. It was loud, but it is a sort of divey sports bar. I would go there again just for the experience of the huge $18 Bloody Mary, but I wouldn't make it my go to sports bar. read more

We went for the taco Tuesday special and ended up being really impressed by the whole place. The vibe is a typical restaurant/bar/grill but the food is definitely elevated! This place is great. I went on a Friday night. The waitresses were all friendly and professional. The manager/owner greeted people in a friendly and non-intrusive way. The place is not huge and was pretty full. It was loud at about 6:15, but understandable. The service was top notch. The bathrooms were clean. I had the RIP burger with waffle fries. Both were spot-on and delicious. The beer list was perfect for the food. I look forward to going back. This is not a fancy place. It is not haute cuisine. It is exactly what it purports to be--a local Omaha bar with great, hearty food. read more

I've never seen a Bloody Mary the size of Report's. It includes an entire feast on top, which certainly comes in handy, as you make it towards the bottom of the glass. As you walk in, you are free to seat yourself anywhere you please. You never know what kind of crowd you'll get, but it'll definitely be a good time. I tried the nachos here one day and they weren't half bad. My review is mainly for the Bloody Mary feast. Try it out! If I could leave zero stars I would have. Decided to try this place out today for the bloody Mary's and burgers since have never been there before. Arrived at 4:30 was about 6 people inside all with drinks in front of them a older couple walked in just before us and then a group o 3 ladies we all went to different tables and sat down. First thing I noticed was there was water or some type of liquid on my table, the music seemed a tad to loud and it was freezing inside it's ok to turn the a/c up a little bro. I was wearing a long sleeve shirt and it was super cold. I notice the older lady get up and ask the bartender lady for a menu since she wasnt deciding to come out from the bar then the group of 3 ladies yelled from there table and said excuse me miss bartender trying to get her attention while waving her arms. About 17 minutes go by with no one coming over to our table so we decide to just leave as we got up the bartender starts to head over and says is everything ok i replied yes we are gonna go to another bar, her reply was oh ok then. As soon as we got to our car I see the older couple come walking out to get in their car we kinda just looked at each other and shook our heads. I cant comment on the food or drinks because sadly no one wanted to take our order. I will say having 1 employee even on a Sunday was not cool there should least a bartender and 1 or 2 waitresses. I have been wanting to come here for quite some time now. Thank you Jennifer P for the push! Four stars because this is a bar... and their food is good! We went on taco Tuesday. I have to say that I really like this place. Everyone is friendly and the chairs are super comfortable. I ordered the fried flour taco and we also ordered the nachos minus the lettuce. The taco was really good. Although it was deep-fried it was not dripping with grease as other places in Omaha and the beef was actually seasoned and tasted really good! My only complaint would be that the cheese sauce that is served with a side of chips with your taco tasted like cheese sauce from a can. It needs some doctoring up. The nachos were equally as good. We ordered them with the fried flour tortilla chips. Of course I had a couple of margaritas that were quite tasty also. Definitely a couple steps up from your average bar food! We were in the mood for a good burger last weekend so headed over to the report in pub. Wasn't too crowded so able to grab a table. Our waiter was certainly not in the mood to work. Evidently Ollie the trolley had been in so I don't know if he was overworked before we got there. Took a while to get to our table, basically threw the menus on the table and not friendly at all. I will say this is not the norm for this place the few times we've been in there. The bartender on the other hand seemed very pleasant. We had one drink and left. I'll be honest, I had never heard of Report In Pub until I searched for nearby restaurants on Yelp a few weeks ago. After mentioning it to my wife, she had heard of their legendary bloody mary's. I also read a few reviews and upon seeing an avg 4.5 star rating, I knew I had to check this place out. That day finally came last weekend. The place is pretty non-descript and a bit difficult to find. Once I did and walked in, I felt at home. I'm not sure what it is but wood paneling speaks to me. The service on this particular day was dreadfully slow but in all fairness, it was the NFL playoffs and the place was packed! The beer selection was decent but not great. From what I could see, they had around eight different taps. I didn't catch them all but did see that they had Bud Light, Boulevard Wheat, and Infusion Vanilla Bean. I ordered the Sunday special nachos with beef and flour chips. The beer arrived with an ice cold glass which I enjoyed despite what the beer experts say. The nachos were good but not great. They were topped with too much iceberg lettuce. My friends did say that the bacon cheeseburger and philly were both really good so perhaps I just ordered the wrong dish. Report In is one of those placed that is nowhere near where I live and while I enjoyed the overall experience, I don't see it as a destination as I am not a fan of bloody mary's. If I were in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to drop-in for a beer and a bite but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. We started out with an order of gouda mac & cheese bites. We made quick work of them. They were nicely fried and creamy on the outside. We were off to a good start. My wife ordered the chicken strip basket with sweet potato fries. The 3 large strips were crisp on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. My wife liked them very much. The sweet potato fries were some of the best we have ever had. I ordered the loaded grilled cheese sandwich with waffle fries. My sandwich had 3 different cheeses on it, bacon, a hash brown patty and 2 eggs all on toast. It was delicious. The only thing I would have changed would to toast the bread a little more. Mine was so lightly toasted that it not even turned brown yet. My waffle fries were very large and very tasty. I usually do not like waffle fries, but I really liked these. I would not have ordered them if I had not read the reviews before coming. There are numerous other things I want to try when I come back again. Picked up food for Taco Tuesday. Love the puffy shells and the tacos were good, but it seemed the meat wasn't seasoned. Maybe it wasn't seasoned enough for me. Not sure. This is a great spot! I never used to be a fan of Bloody Mary's until I had one done right at Report Inn! Not only is the drink fantastic and spicy, it comes with a full meal on a stick! Mini slider, chicken wing, onion ring, fried pickle, etc. They have several drink specials and house cocktails. Food specials every day too. Its kind of tucked away so if you didn't know it was here you'd drive right past. Clearly they have a following though because it's always busy. Wow, what a gem. This place is set down inside Bel Air plaza. I never realized it was there, but I am glad we found it. We were immediately greeted upon entering by Ali the bartender as well as a nice Hi from half of the regulars sitting at the bar! We were there for late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon about 2. I opted for a beer and although their local/craft beer selection on tap leaves a little to be desired, they did have one of my favs...Zipline Copper Alt by the bottle. Taking Ali's advice I got the loaded grilled cheese. When it came out, with its 2 eggs over medium, 3 types of cheese, bacon, and a hash brown, I about fell out of my chair. It clogged my arteries just looking at it and I couldn't wait to dig in. Upon taking my first bite the egg yolk squirted out all over the front of my shirt and all over the table. In no way could I be mad at that! It just showed me that the eggs were cooked perfectly!!!! It also came with waffle fries which were delish. My husband ordered the Swiss mushroom burger and he loved it! It was cooked medium just like he asked and it was so big, another patron asked him if it was double. Jason has definitely put The Report In on the map. It's not a secret anymore! Food, service, etc is all outstanding. Unfortunately we had a terrible ending to a great experience. We were greeted and welcomed to seat in the back of the establishment. Which I felt was convenient since we were a big group with six children and felt we could be well off away from the bar crowd. Our server who happend to be hispanic was friendly and attentive throughout our stay and invited us to the house's special ( RIP burgers) . The food was mediocre, the burger was i'll seasoned and dry. fry's we're cold and drinks were not refilled regularly( being we were a larger party). We we paid our. $240.00 tab, and my spanish speaking friend and I moved to the bar area to get drinks, we orders two Skrewball shots and a beer each... while waiting we notice that the lady bartender in was speaking to two other ladies so we kept to ourselves throughout the time. Shortly after we were approached by a women who said " you should not speak spanish" IDK was taken out of context or someone that would be assuming, or overheard, but apparently wile I was discussing what drink we should have, and minding our busines, someone overheard us saying something about the bartender, something about to the extent of the bartender being fat ( which was not said) me and my friend being two fat mofos looked at each other in disbelief, as we had not said a thing about the bartender or anyone for that matter. We were confronted by two non spanish speaking individuals asking us to stop talking about the bartender and that we should apologize for saying the bartender was fat. To clarify, at this point I had not said anything about the bartender or anyone I was attempting to order a shot of alcohol for me and my friend, not saying anything derogatory about the service crew, other customers who don't speak spanish said we said something in spanish to the bartender and proceeded to make us feel bad and leave . this is not a friendly place for spanish speaking folk please stay away. read more
