1st time going here. Came here to meet up for breakfast and then catch an early movie at the AMC right next door. Staff was friendly and helpful with menu. Ordered the chilaquiles and a Latte Matcha. Food was served tonys at a table there. Smaller sized restaurant if you're looking for a olace to sit but they have outdoor seating as well. Food was good and portions solid. Would recommend for anyone looking for a brekkie or coffee spot in the area.

It's my first time having this Tuna Pasta Salad and it's pretty good. Gabriel, a charismatic young cashier, rung me up and made light conversation. I've eaten here a lot before. I love getting their French toast and they have so many interesting, unique tasty items to order. I really like their cardamom oat latte (I just get it less sweet). The ambiance is a chill coffee shop type of vibe and there is indoor and outdoor seating. I always come back to this place.

Adorable cafe! My first time here. I love the ambiance and decor. The coffee tastes so fresh! Hot and delicious! I didn't even need cream and sugar. I saw a lady eating a beautiful breakfast crossaint with eggs and fruit on the side. Service is impeccable. No one bothered us as we sat and enjoyed our drinks. I felt like I was in a countryside cafe. So relaxing and classy. Will definitely be coming back every Saturday morning

3.5** I've been here three or four times recently but forgot to review oops! Love the atmosphere here and there's plenty of seating. All the workers have been really nice and one even gave me free food one time when he saw I was headed to my retail shift. So sweet! Service is decently fast. My friend and I went on our lunch break this past week and they were quick with the drinks (it was also midday on like Tuesday so it was kind of slow). Parking can be difficult depending on the time, but there's a few parking structures nearby. I want to give this place 5 stars but my drink is so inconsistently made. The first time I went to this location a few weeks ago, I got one of the best coffees I've had in the city! 10/10 no notes. But my last two visits it was watered down and so milky. This past week I went and there was no coffee taste and it looked even lighter than chocolate milk. So disappointing bc my drink comes out to $10 ($9 + $1 tip). And I went on my limited lunch break thinking I was getting a sure thing, but I tossed it after trying to drink at least half (mission: failed). Everyone seems to love their Vietnamese coffee and I tried my friend's and that had at least a strong coffee flavor. So maybe that's the way to go for anyone thinking of coming here. Bummed that it can't be my go-to for my usual order.

This place is packed on the weekend especially this weekend because there was a fair happening. The line was long to order but I got my drinks fairly quickly. The staff member who took my order did seem very stressed due to the amount of people but she treated us decently. I ordered two drinks: one iced matcha latte and one acai smoothie. The acai smoothie was ordered by my sister and she mentioned how she did not like it at all. The iced matcha latte is the drink I ordered and it was okay. I think it was a little bit watery so I thought it was just decent. It didn't stand out too much. I think they are known for their coffees more than their other drinks but nonetheless what I ordered tasted okay except for the smoothie.

We came into Republik Coffee on a Wednesday evening and had a great experience overall. Service was quick and friendly, and we got our drinks just a couple minutes after ordering. They have a pretty extensive menu along with a solid assortment of pastries and candy options. This time we only opted for drinks, but we definitely plan on coming back to try more. I ordered the iced Vietnamese cold brew. It was definitely on the stronger side, and I can appreciate that it wasn't too sweet. The menu describes the Vietnamese cold brew as including coconut water, although I can't say that the coconut water flavor comes through in the drink. That being said, it wasn't exactly a flavor I would otherwise be looking for in my Vietnamese coffee so I wouldn't count that as a bad thing. There was plenty of seating inside and the ambiance was great. It's a nice spot to hang out, study, or catch up with friends.

Ordered a black vanilla latte Every time I order it it's darker. Asked the barista about it. She said it should taste exactly the same. Didn't offer to add more charcoal. I paid 9$ for a latte. Not worth it It's not even the charcoal color, it literally doesn't even taste good. Cmon

|[ o o h ]| 3.5 stars rounded up. So cute so friendly! Finally got to try and it was hard to find something sugar-free but still delish. I tried the London fog latte with oat milk no added sugar and I'd say it's a 3.5/5, it's not cheap and it's not bad for a study sesh here- I taste the tea but the flavor could be more intentional without need for sugar imo. The space is adorable and I love the vibe they curated here. Also love that there's a patio that I can bring my pups to, and love the vibe of the crowd on a Friday evening. |[ d e e t z ]| Sweet service, kind enough to help me make a diff drink when the original one I ordered with no sugar ended up having intrinsic sugar in the tea lol. It's downtown Burbank so parking could be a walk from the lot or st if you're lucky and willing to pay (pay by app which is nice though). |[ c u ? ]| Haven't tried the food yet but def going to come back and study sometime and try. :) please consider more sugar-free options for longevity :D

Located in downtown Burbank, this coffee spot is sort of hidden to the side so be careful not to miss it. The inside is not that big but they do have a decent amount of tables to sit at. Besides coffee they offer a variety of food options as well as pastries. Service was great, extremely nice staff. I ordered a seasonal matcha drink they offered. We had to wait a few min for an open table but not too bad. The drink took longer to come out than expected. I had to make my husband go check on the status. The taste of the matcha was good, not as earthy as ai would like but it wasn't bad either. Overall nice spot and I would be back to try other items on the menu.

I stopped by on a Friday around 11am. There's a parking structure in the back which is super convenient. The indoor space is small but has a handful of tables and they also offer outdoor seating. The line moved quickly and they have menus in a basket by the line so you can look over it while you wait. They sell pastries and grab-and-go items like salads, wraps, and fruit cups. I ordered the berry smoothie and it was so good! For food, my sister and I shared the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and an almond croissant. The chilaquiles were delicious and every bite in the croissant had almond. If you are dining in, they give you a number stand, you find a seat, and they bring your food and drinks to the table.

I was craving something sweet gluten free and healthy and I got lucky! I felt this coffee shop is perfect. I was able to find what I needed. The cookie was all natural and gluten-free. It hit the spot without ruining my healthy lifestyle! The Vietnamese coffee was not too sweet and delicious. The service was fast and its a cute coffee shop!

I got the lavender matcha! It was tasty. My friend got the turmeric golden latte but said it was a bit too spicy for her (pepper wise). Overall cute spot, always seems fairly crowded however with not much room for seating. Despite enjoying their drink and baked goods...I did notice their water cups weren't the cleanest (I found a lipstick stain on one...and the stack under it). Bathroom had a cute pic (see attached)

Great coffee and excellent customer service. The chia pudding was delicious and gluten free. While they have GF baked goods, for celiacs it is not an option as made with same equipment as nonGF. Good outdoor seating area. One recommendation would be to lower music inside as hard to hear anything with the acoustics. read more

The staff here are so great and it really feels like they care a lot about what they do and the experience here feels personal. Cortado are great, and matcha green tea latte with oat milk is awesome. Indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps outside if it's chilly!! Really love this place- makes me happy each time I go. read more

Finally a quality coffee spot in downtown Burbank! Nice ambience, cute decor and friendly staff (shout out to my girl Seraly, who always takes care of me and greets me with her beautiful friendly smile). Plenty of outside seating. The cardamom latte is a must try, my personal favorite, and the food is delicious as well. I like that they have a pretty extensive menu of fresh foods made to order and also some delicious already prepared foods you can grab on the go. Much larger selection than you would expect from a small coffee shop . Definitely the only option for me for coffee in the area! No doubt. Highly recommend . read more

The drinks are pretty bad and the food is overpriced for what you get. I came here on Friday Nov. 17 to get a Chai Lavender Latte. Wow... the cardamon/ginger taste was overpowering and I hated how small sprigs of lavender floated on top. Apparently it's the syrup they use to make Chai?Complained about it at the Barista and she happily made another terrible drink. I asked for a Latte and that one was mostly Iced and Milk. For $6 that's pretty terrible. My friend ordered a guava drink. It mostly tasted like coconut milk with blue berries at the bottom. Pretty sad. Onto the food. I ordered chicken squash salad that never got ringed up. Got accused by manager that I never ordered it when my friend was there and heard me. We got the truffle mushroom brie toast. Theres nothing truffle about this toast. For a ridiculous price tag of $18, you would think they would even bother with truffle oil. Nope. Oh did I mentioned how the bread was rock hard? They do a good job of making their food look good but it lacks alot of things. Will probably never coming back. Highly not recommend this place. read more

The coffee is fine, but this review is more about their app ordering system. Nowhere on the app does it say we have to check in with baristas after ordering. I think anyone can just assume that it's ready to pickup when it's ready. So other than that, everything's good. read more

Management named by Heather worst customer service I have ever seen and spoke to. Major Attitude problem doesn't know how to treat customers at all told me that she used to work for a Bank and knew how to treat customers why aren't you working there anymore? Makes a lot of sense now ! To the owners of Republik choose your employees wisely. I've never been so disrespected ever from an establishment. I have proof of this disrespect but for your sake, Heather, I wouldn't post it! I have been going to this coffee shop (Burbank location) for a little over 6 months ever since they opened and was a big fan because of there Pasadena location and it's very unfortunate that I will never return because of this! Some of the employees even know me by name and my children's names. read more

Was in Burbank visiting some clients & decided it was time for my second coffee of the day…read more I did a quick yelp search and the very aesthetically pleasing (and highly rated) Palm Coffee Bar called out to me. Oh my merch! They have a lot of bits and bobs for you to peruse. Such cute little coffee themed items that would possibly brighten the gloomiest of days. I ended up grabbing a "you can sip with us" crop & I'm excited to wear it. Service was quick and friendly. The barista took the time to engage with me a bit & genuinely seemed to care about my experience. I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch which is flavorful and not too sweet which is a plus in my book. Baristas were well-trained and they provided a great experience. Overall, this place has all the basics you're looking for in a cafe. A decent drink selection, some pastries and some seats both indoors and outdoors. You can also use this place as a pick-me-up and go on a walk along Magnolia.

It was a simple question, just asked if they still had the Birria quezadillas, she had said yes & I asked for the price becus I couldn't find it on the menu, thats when she said she'd find out the price and didn't return for a long awhile. Then when she came back she forgot and just said "they dnt sell um anymore" She seemed disconnected and so unsure. A waiter should know the menu & what is discontinued. Or at the least find out and return quickly with the info, not take long and come back having forgot to even find out. But ok, no problem we just got our drinks and the café de Olla was good. The food arrived and the rice stood out more than the Chilaquiles. The pancakes were small for the price & didnt have much flavor, once the toppings were gone the pancakes were bland. Came here becus I saw comments online, but I dont think I'd go back, there are many other places with outstanding food & service. The Mexican rice & Café de olla were the standouts of the meal. If you live nearby I could see this being a good place to enjoy a meal, but to come in from farther out isn't worth the drive.

The vibe? Imagine if Eeyore opened a coffee shop - that's Republik. The ambiance had all the cheerfulness of a rainy Monday morning... perpetually. I half-expected to see a tumbleweed roll past my table, but I guess it couldn't stand the atmosphere either. Cleanliness seemed to be as forgotten as last year's New Year's resolutions. Coffee lover's paradise. I'd like to think I have somewhat high standards for cafes (because I work at one), but this blew my expectations out of the water. I tried the prosciutto flatbread and it was to die for. My friends tried the Breakfast Plate and Breakfast Croissant, which they loved as well. Highly recommend their speciality lattes. However, the crown jewel of my experience here is that one of the owners (partners) came out to speak with us. You could really feel the passion in his voice - a desire to satisfy every customer. Republic Coffee is one of my MUST-Stop spots in Burbank! They truly have the best espresso in town--smooth, strong, and always on point. Their breakfast avocado toast is a favorite--super fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. My mom and I love coming here together; it's become our go-to for healthy, tasty food and a cozy vibe. I stopped by Republik Coffee Burbank just to try their cappuccino -- and wow, it did not disappoint. Perfectly balanced with low acidity and rich flavor, it's one of the best I've had in LA. Smooth, velvety, and made with obvious care. The patio is super chill, with a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The positive aspects were the ample outdoor seating and pleasant ambiance inside. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our orders were accurately taken. However, the coffee was a major letdown. We ordered lattes, but they were devoid of any coffee flavor, more akin to drinking milk and syrup. The breakfast food we ordered was equally mediocre and bland. I did send a direct message through the business portal as requested, but I haven't heard back yet. I want to give this business a second chance to make things right, so I'm hoping we can reconnect soon to resolve the issue. The chicken chipotle sandwich that I ate after posting the initial review was actually good.
