We bought a replacement car key…read moreonline and every retail store said they would only cut keys they sold (Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Lowe's) and every locksmith I called said they only have mobile service and the cost with service fee and cutting minimum was over $150 - even with me providing the key. We went in on a Saturday to Intellikey and had 2 keys cut and programmed within 20 minutes for less than $10 each! If I ever need a locksmith again they are my first call..

Horrible experience. The key fob lasted 3 months then just stopped working. The old fob was…read morereplaced because the actual key broke off, but the fob still worked. So, I tested it and it works fine, so it was obviously the new fob being defective. The guy said he would come out and test it for a $75 fee. Then, if it was defective, it would be the same charge as last time to replace it again. Seriously?! Don't waste your money on a company that refuses to stand behind their product! If I could leave Zero stars I would have. I called this company to inquire if my new electronic…read morelocks could be rekeyed to match . The lady who answered the phone informed me that yes they could be rekeyed and potentially could be made to match my original standard deadbolt key, depending on the brand. At no point did she indicate that if the electric lock was an off-brand it would be impossible to rekey them at all. She gave me a quote for the rekey service and indicated there would be a service charge for the trip. But again did not mention that if for some reason the technician was unable to perform the service we would be responsible for the service charge. When the technician arrived he looked at the keys and said it may not work because of the brand of electric lock. He was able to insert my standard key into the lock but said he would have to call his boss to ask if he could attempt to rekey the locks . The boss told him He could not rekey the locks because they were an off brand and then they informed me I would still be required to pay the service charge. I let them know that this possibility had not been communicated and asked if the fee could be waived. They said it could not, so I called the office after the tech left and they gave me the number of the boss. When I spoke with Ben (owner) he was condescending and rude, spoke over me and interrupted me and when I informed him that I would have to leave a negative review about their poor customer service, he accused me of extortion! It was quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my 23 years of home ownership.
