The technician arrived on time exactly as scheduled, inspected everything carefully, and identified the real cause of the problem with my washing machine. Before this, I had called three other companies, and without even taking the machine apart, they immediately told me what the issue was and how much the replacement parts would cost. However, everything turned out to be completely different once Alex thoroughly checked it himself. He repaired the machine in about 30-40 minutes, reassembled everything, and put it back in place. I left a message expecting to hear from the business on Monday. Alex called within 15 minutes and inquired about the appliance and problem so he could schedule the appointment. Long story short, he fit me in immediately and showed up quickly. He diagnosed the problem immediately, which was my dryer being shoved back to the wall and crimping/blocking the exhaust air. He took the time to rearrange the washer and dryer to prevent the problem from reoccurring and to explain about how my dryer worked to utilize it better. Because my dryer did not need maintenance, he just charged a reasonable service call fee, which I happily paid for his time and work. Alex was honest, professional, and very nice to work with. Alex was very helpful and efficient. 1 week ago our stove wouldn't stop making the clicking noise that happens when the knob is turned to initially light the range and Alex came out on Thursday the first time to assess the issue and he was able to let me know pretty quickly what the problem was. He said he would be able to be back early this week to repair it and called me yesterday to schedule an appointment for today. He arrived on time and was able to fix the issue in about 45 minutes. DO NOT use this company. I had them come out to "fix" my U-Line ice making machine. I was told it needed a new icemaker that would cost $700. They installed it, and within days it didn't make ice. A tech came out, used pliers to physically turn the cogs to push out the ice, and said it was good to go. Once again, next day didn't work. Tech came out again, manually turned the cogs, said it was fixed. I wrote an email telling Alex, it still requires me to physically turn the machine. His answer, the temp might be too cold. I tried the thermometer every way possible, still no fix. I called him yesterday, said he would have a tech reach out. Never did. Called today, he said it was fixed and hung up. I called him back...blocked my number. Called from my wife's phone, he told me to not call back and hung up. Absolutely horrible customer service. I'm reporting them to the BBB and U-Line to take them off their service list. read more

Yesterday I had a second opinion from an LG certified repair company that I paid for personally. The technician found that the lower spray arm was cracked and its top and bottom parts were pulling apart. He removed it and showed it to me, so I knew he was being truthful. He told me that this was a very common reason for a dishwasher to leak the way I had described. I am not upset that you technician failed to find the problem, but I am upset and offended by your accusations and attempt to reflect negatively on my character. read more

Rescue My Appliance truly lived up to its name. I have an LG steam dryer that was almost 12 years old. It stopped drying and spinning. I consulted 3 appliance repair companies and only RMA was able to figure out the problem. The main guy Alex was courteous and professional on the phone while the repair specialist was an honest to goodness person. I don't know if this can be part for a good review but I prayed for a trust worthy company to take care of a simple dryer problem and not take advantage of my ignorance on appliance repair. Contacted them on a Thursday afternoon and had an appointment for Friday. Alex came out and took the dryer apart (vacuuming the inside and was able to resolve the problem with a total reboot. Alex is lying in his response. I too have the messages. Bottom line-we had a partially working refrigerator that at least kept the refrigerated section of the fridge cold enough to maintain safe food temperatures. The freezer was inoperable. Yes his technician did install a part that turned out to be broken out of the box. But no, I did not deny further service (I have the text messages asking for more help). Also, those text messages show he took the action to close out the ticket. And despite my repeated phone calls and texts where I implored him to help me figure out what to do next because by him and his company closing out the ticket we were forced to restart over with LG-with no clear explanation of what was now wrong with the refrigerator. Ultimately he left me and my family with an inoperable refrigerator and wrote us off because it was inconvenient to have to come back and maintain the service relationship that he started with us and help us get to the next step of repair. So buyer beware if you hire this company and all the delivered parts work you'll probably be ok but if the slightest thing goes wrong Alex will ghost you and you'll be left to find another company and start over. read more

I have used this company for years! They are reliable and honest. I recently had an issue with our dishwasher, an issue that Samsung could not figure out, and Rescue My Appliances did! Our washer stopped spinning, so we called Rescue My Appliances. The technician, Dimitry, was sent out. He identified the washer issue within a minute (motor speed sensor out), and he even had the correct sensor onboard his vehicle. Additionally, the washer was "trapped" within the kitchen cabinetry, and Dimitry was still able to figure out a way to access the back of the machine. He worked tirelessly on it, figured it all out, and fully completed the job. The washer is like new again. Highly recommended. read more

A few weeks ago, my one and a half year-old LG washing machine decided to quit. I called Alex at Rescue my appliances and he was out to my house the same day. The problem he encountered was unbelievable. LG had changed the wiring on their machines and when the machine vibrates, the wires break. So Alex had to pretty much rewire my machine which he did. He stuck by his original quote, even though in my opinion, he did a lot more work than he had anticipated. Absolutely sub-par service. They are a LG certified repair service. The tech called me and I explained my situation and he stated "I have to see if I have compressors in my office". He didnt even come out to diagnosis it before he even new it was the compressor. Two times in a month with this refrigerator. After three texts and two calls, he finally texted me back after 3 hours to tell me "sorry no compressors in the office" He didnt even come out to see if the compressor was even bad as the refrigerator stopped cooling. My experience with this company was horrible. The technician came to repair my washer. Took a picture then left. I proceeded to call the office to communicate what had happen and was told, " My technician is a professional and will order the parts." I told the company, "He didn't optest the washer how does he know what parts to order?" Then I was told in short that if I didn't like their service to get someone else. Unprofessional customer service the Tech that came to my house was very knowledgeable told me I needed a new motor for my Samsung dryer and they needed to order the part been waiting 2 weeks had to text there only way of communication tells me my check was returned NSF when I have plenty of money never got a call from them had to repeatly text them they only respond by text one excuse after another had to call another company to schedule another service call. Rescue My Appliance was assigned to me by my home warranty to fix my refrigerator. If I can give less than 1 star I would. The appointment was already going south from the beginning. Alex showed up at my front door claimed that he rang the doorbell. But when I reviewed the camera, it shows that he didn't and even dropped the camera, then just put I back took a picture of my front door and left. I had to call him back. When he came back, he wasn't even planning to put on a booties until I told him too ( it was raining hard all night and still drizzling on the day of my appointment). I try to explain to him that the fridge is already set at 2C (35F) (one below max setting of 1C or 33F) but the inside temp is not cooling to the set temperature. Alex just shot his temp gun and say the temp was ok. Even the readings on the gun is reading at 5C or 41F on some areas and 3C or 38F on other areas. He even said that it's ok for the temp to be at 7C or 44F. Now being a food regulator that's considered temperature abuse. If the food is being cooled at warmer temperature than specified. Food like dairy need to cool at a certain temp to slow the growth of bacteria. Same with other food inside the fridge. That's the whole reason why there's a label in the food that says "Keep Refrigerated." Now if my fridge is not reaching the appropriate temperature to cool my food even if it's set at the coldest temp, then there's something wrong with it and Alex doesn't understand that. After trying to explain to Alex about my concern. He just pick up his tool bag and walked out with an attitude and use profanity. Beware of this company and their technician Alex. read more

We had an issue with our refrigerator not cooling, contacted LG they sent us ALEX. He was AMAZING! he corrected the issue our refrigerator started cooling again but still needed additional parts. He reassured us that the refrigerator would continue to work fine while the additional parts came in, AND IT DID! a few days later Alex calls us and says parts are in and can come the next day to replace parts. He was very professional, knew exactly what he was doing. He addressed all our questions and concerns and most importantly our refrigerator is at 100% working like new again.
