I happened to be the extremely lucky runner-up in a giveaway that Rescue One Air hosted recently, so I was gifted a year of HVAC regular maintenance. Today Ivan showed up at my house. Very timely, very professional, and very friendly. I was worried since I got the service free that maybe the technician wouldn't be very interested in doing a thorough job and would just rush through to move on. I was completely wrong and my worries were totally unfounded. Ivan was EXTREMELY thorough and found a bad capacitor and some pipes that needed redone to prevent a leak/water damage. Ivan did an AMAZING job explaining to me what each part did, how it was supposed to work, and how it was working now. (I'm a little weird, I like to know how stuff works.) He was totally patient with me and didn't seem even a little bit bothered by my million questions. He really knew his stuff. It was very clear to me that he definitely knew what he was doing. That was very reassuring. I've had bad experiences in the past with a different company I won't name here. (Hint: It's hard to spell...) Ivan was INCREDIBLE. He offered to completely waive the cost of labor for me and I am so so so appreciative of that. I wouldn't have been able to get the repairs I needed. I never once felt like I was being sold something I didn't need, I wasn't being taken advantage of or anything like that. I can only say positive things about this company. Even though I got the regular maintenance for free, it's definitely something I would pay for myself and I look forward to doing more business with Rescue One Air. Rarely do I give reviews. I have lived in Phoenix for 24 years and my A/C system was 24 years old. I needed a replacement. I have dealt with A/C contractors for decades and many of my experiences were not good. I was referred to Rescue One Air and gave them a call on Monday. A sales tech, Caleb came to my home on Tuesday and inspected my system. He provided a detailed quotation and explained the installation process. He was courteous, professional and provided no sales pressure whatsoever. I called him on Thursday and told him I wanted to proceed. He was at my home within 2 hours to complete the paperwork. I paid a deposit for the system. A crew was scheduled for the next day at 8:00AM and they arrived on time. In less than 5 hours, Ivan and his crew installed a new Carrier A/C system with outside and inside components. They completely removed the old system and did not leave a trace of debris at my home. They tested the new system and explained the thermostat and filter requirements. In less than 5 hours, cars were back in the garage and driveway and my home was pleasantly cold. After installation, Caleb called within 1 hour to do a phone follow-up. Rescue One Air has even scheduled another follow-up for next week to ensure my new A/C system has met my needs and expectations. 9-08-23: Arrived home @ 3pm to a rapidly warming home with temp reaching 80 degrees instead of 75 degrees. Called Rescue One Air who sent "Terry" for repair. Terry immediately noticed ice formation by the main line plus signs of leaking freon also on the gravel. Upon removal of the tape and foam wrapped on the main line he pointed to the corroded leaking area. Corroded leaking in line coupler that should have been repaired with a new coupler during the initial new system installation on June-02-2023!!! Terry immediately turned the system Fan on to defrost the ice formation in the attic system. After water slowed down from rapid drainage via defrosting, Terry proceeded to charge up the system for a temporary fix since he did not have the SharkBite Coupler which had to be procured. 9-09-23: I called Rescue One Air and specifically asked for "Terry" to be the return technician for repair work!!! 9-12-23: Repair Technician "Terry" arrived and proceeded to install the new SharkBite Coupler. Now that is what you call taking pride in your top-notch first class maintenance repair techniques!!! Vacuumed leak tested & System recharged great!!! I have to share this just because our experience was horrible. The philanthropic hook, the six cans of whatever, is a great marketing technique if the service backs it up. For us, roommates with the homeowner, we were aware of extremely poor appointment keeping, missing the first two with no word of there being a problem and rescheduling. Third time got 'er done... The tech, after his examination that took about a half-hour, informed us that the attic unit was bad and needed replaced, he could see no other solution. He said the previous tech had over-charged the systems as a quick fix for the blockage in the attic coil. He advised us that we really needed both exterior units replaced and pitched those to the homeowner over the phone, along with the attic unit. No other alternative or potential less expensive fix was offered. After doing nothing, basically, he wrote up an estimate with the laundry list and left with a tip as well as the 'service' call fee. Our experience certainly left a lot to be desired, especially after having the issue resolved easily by another company's tech. The systems weren't over-charged and he was able to resolve the blockage, purge the system and install a new larger filter. Problem solved. read more

I don't like yelp....not even a little. Something that I DO like is Rescue One Air. Something I REALLY, REALLY like is the treatment and service I received from a technician named Thomas Lanfor that works for Rescue One Air. He came out to give me a free inspection on my AC unit and treated me fairly and honestly and because of this I elected to have Rescue One "tune up" my unit and I signed a 5 year service plan with them. Thomas nailed every aspect of the project and even stayed late to make sure my job was done perfectly. I'm sure all the staff at Rescue One Air is amazing, but no one else is allowed on my roof for AC Work other than Thomas. I'm so legitimately impressed with him that when I asked him how I could go over and above to recognize him for his great effort, he asked if I would mind leaving something nice on yelp. I hate Yelp. Yelp, if you're listening...I hate you. So there it is.....even though I hate Yelp, I was compelled to download this garbage app and set up a profile because of Rescue One Air and Thomas...that's how much I would recommend them and especially him! On 9/26/19, in response to a phone solicitation, Paul from Rescue One Air came to our recently purchased house in Gilbert. Normally I don't answer phone solicitations but in this case I am glad I did. Paul conducted a through inspection of our AC / heating system. Although he found the system to be in good working order, he made a few minor adjustments that I thought showed good attention to detail. He was attentive to my questions and explained everything he did. He gave some helpful suggestions for me to consider. Our home inspector had suggested we have a float switch installed in our secondary drain line because he found evidence of water having been in the pan. I discussed the suggestion with Paul and he was explained more in detail what the inspector was talking about. The idea made sense so I had Paul install the switch while he had the attic unit open. Paul did try to sell us a service contract but there was no high pressure involved. He merely explained what the company offered and left it to us to make a decision without any type of pressure. Actually, the service plan was a good plan but we have spent so much money moving that I just did not want to spend the money on it at that time. read more

Our heat pump went out in the middle of a remodel. We called and they wasted no time arriving. Within 24 hoursthe unit had been diagnosed. The recognized that we were already under a lot of stress and went the extra mile to extend their sale price on a new unit to replace the nine year old budget unit that failed us. By the end of the week a new and better unit was on the roof and running. As part of our remodel we needed to remove the soffit in our kitchen. That meant removing three registers. Of course we called Rescue One because they took such good care of us. The stated that they normally do not do ducting jobs that small but they would ask management. Rescue One to the rescue again! Not only did they take the job but again at a discounted rate. This project would be back on track if our General Contractor understood the concept of earning someone's business and customer service half as well as Rescue One Air. We were so impressed that no one other then Rescue One will be touching our system. A big THANK YOU to Ryan and everyone at Rescue One for a tremendous experience. We live in AZ and there is nothing more important that a good working AC in the summer time. I have had a lot of HVAC technicians come out to my place over the years and I have had a lot of interesting characters as well. With Rescue One Air I had a great experience! Ivan came out to the house and for starters he didn't look like he was on meth... anyways... he was very professional and clean cut. He definitely represents the company well. Ivan showed up to do the Biannual maintenance check before summer. He went and check all the duct work as well as the unit. He didn't try and sell me something I didn't need and he was very helpful on giving me some suggestions to help make my house more efficient. I really liked that he gave options and listed a few things that should probably be taken care of sooner than later as well as some other things to keep in mind and address but were not as necessary at the moment. Nothing worse than someone trying to take advantage if your lack of knowledge on the subject. I will definitely be requesting Ivan again when I schedule my next biannual maintenance check. read more

Yesterday our Ac unit had stopped running (brand new unit) so I gave Rescue One Air a call and the lady who answered told us a technician would get to us soon as available. Technician Silas arrived, looked at the unit and noticed that there were two wires touching that connected into the main Ac unit outside that could have caused a fuse to go out. He separated the two wires and replaced fuse and just like that the Ac was up and running. He had mentioned that if the problem recurs that it could be an electrical issue and recommended to get it checked by an electrician. Sure enough later that night Ac had gone out again, so I gave another call early the next morning. This time I had Hector come out and inspect the Ac unit. The fuse had blown out again and he had noticed that the wires running into the main Ac unit outside were in bad condition some of which were bare, so he replaced the old wires and the fuse and had the Ac back up in running in no time. Thank you Hector for the good thorough inspection and quick fix of my Ac unit. Will definitely be asking for you if I ever need any future repairs! read more

In 2016, my husband and I downsized to a smaller home. We had only been here a very short time when a gentleman came by selling service policies. We normally didn't buy extended warranties, but this time my husband said yes. Each year since then, Rescue One has faithfully been out twice a year to service our unit. Around the time my husband died in 2018, I was told my unit was registering a high reading of carbon monoxide. I agreed to replace my a/c and heater. As is standard, it came with a 10 year warranty. Now, five years later, my compressor failed. John came out and he was absolutely fantastic! He was prompt, courteous, polite, and professional. He came out the following day and installed my new unit. He even went over and above by meeting another tech across town to pickup a fan. He returned to my home at close to 6pm with the fan. It was much appreciated! While Rescue One gave me a one year warranty on the new unit, I lost four full years of warranty that I paid for. I know this is a manufacturers issue, but I am not happy! I paid for this. This seems like fraud to me. read more

A Friday Evening..104 Degrees out and my A/C System is Dead!..Actually could have worked as a Heater with all the hot air blowing out..I have to make an amazing long story a short amazing story..I called a bunch of "The Best"..you know fast service..inexpensive but really got the run around..As I'm preparing to get a Hotel for the night..my phone rings..It's the Owner of Rescue One Air Heating & Cooling ..mind you this is 8:00PM on a Friday Night and told me a Technician would be there by 8:30..He spoke the Truth..The Tech..as I came to find out his name was Scott had the issue diagnosed & repaired by 9:30..My House was freezing that night..had to turn up the A/C because it was running so well the air was ice cold..and all done for a very very fair & reasonable price plus a bottle of water for Superman Scott..I was so happy took a picture that night next to his service vehicle..5 STARS x 2 = 10 STARS for the entire crew at Rescue One..because they did exactly as the name implies..They came and Rescued One hot & sweaty owner..TY..Stephen Robert read more

I am extremely happy with the friendly and professional service I was provided! When Shane met with me and told me my old unit was a wreck, I already knew that. But he was so kind and explained the problems with me in a way that I was able to understand (unfortunately, not every service provider is honest when speaking to a woman) and I never felt that he was taking advantage of me. He showed me pictures of the things that he was telling me was wrong with the unit so I could actually believe him. He was not a fast talking robotic seller of products for the sake of selling a product and for me, that is priceless! Tuan and Jose were the installers and again, nothing less than professional, friendly and awesome service. There was a small hiccup with the transaction but the man in the office (Chris, I believe was his name) was extremely accommodating. We have two air conditioning units, one of them as old as the home (18 years), so while we had a service contract, we had some trepidation about our service call and what the technician might find. David came out yesterday afternoon. He inspected both units, and to our pleasant surprise he found everything was working fine, no work needed, no parts, no freon. He did a thorough check of our attic, of our vents, of our entire air/heating systems, replaced our air filters and was extremely professional, extremely courteous and quite knowledgeable (I now know why we have "hot" spots in our home - never explained to us before). We were very impressed and very pleased. Not only will we be asking for David to come out again for our next 6 month service, but we heartily recommend Rescue One Air as a company you can trust for your air conditioning needs. Our HVAC was not running as well as it usually does. I called Home Depot and requested a tune-up. A contractor with Home Depot came, inspected the HVAC unit and claimed that the evaporator coil was broken, and that there is water is dripping into the heating unit that leads into the control panel, as a result our compressor is unable to handle the load. He recommended that we shut off the HVAC unit immediately and of course suggested that we replace the entire HVAC unit ASAP. He then provided a (rip off) quote of 15k. I called Rescue One Air, they sent a technician out and less than 10 minutes later he had our issue figured out. He explained that the water dripping from the evaporator coil was a singularity, resulting from poor air circulation, which in most cases is caused by blocked filters. 30-min later our AC was up and running. There was never a need to replace the unit. I am highly impressed with the professionalism and true knowledge of Rescue One Air. I highly recommend them. read more

I'm very happy to write a review for this company. Like Enda C. I was very skeptical when receiving their promotional calls. However, when my mom's AC went out I needed someone to call. I thought about other companies, but decided to give these guys a shot. I was not disappointed. Chris, our technician, was very professional and called me several times to let me know what he was doing. Most impressive is what he went through to locate the needed part and the fact that he stayed until almost 10pm to complete the repair. Initially he told me there would be an after hours charge because he had to get the part from any after hours supplier. It turned out that they did not have the correct part. He went to another supplier and did not charge me the higher rate! He stayed onsite until the unit was repaired and did not want to leave my mother without AC. This company went above and beyond for us! I had a different company come out and said the entire unit needed to be replaced. Seemed rushed and like a sales pitch. He didn't clean anything and didn't even check the air filter. Scott went above and beyond. He talked thru how everything works and what he could do as far as maintenance to avoid an $8k replacement. He replumbed my drain line for free (which was the root cause of the problems). He was polite and took time to communicate with me end explain how the unit worked and what was causing the problem. I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt genuine and like he really cared about our well being in these hot Arizona summers. He was also friendly and communicated with my extremely talkative 4-year old daughter. After working with multiple AC companies, I was more than happy to sign up for the semi-annual plan and look forward to him coming back over the years. We initially called Rescue One for preventive maintenance on our A/C, but had to be rescheduled twice due to high volume of A/C outages due to our LOVELY AZ EXCESSIVE HEATWAVE. Hello Murphys Law, yup, our A/C died. After being bumped several times over the next 3 days from several other companies due to their loyalty customers, and with 118 deg temperatures, we called on Rescue One. NICOLE WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL and COMPASSIONATE and because we had been rescheduled 2x's she said we would be the next appointment. The tech NICK called within 30 mins. NICK was PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL and VERY PERSONABLE, as was NICOLE. Nick was very efficient and had us up and running within 30 mins. There was NO HYPE, NO SALESMAN PITCH, just a PLEASANT Experience and a VERY PLEASANT young man. Both NICOLE AND NICK were the epitome of what CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE. Our Heat Pump system went out on Tuesday before Christmas Day 12-25-22. We checked with several AC companies immediately-Rescue One Air gave us the best price price for for what I consider to be a better unit-Trane. They did next day install and the work was done as promised in a timely and clean manner. Attic install was a problem as ceiling had to be cut out to allow the air handler to be placed in place-extremely tight fit. Tuan amd Wayne did a difficult job getting the air handle in place with making it look as if the unit had been installed before any sheet rock had been put in place during construction. Antionio came out later to do repair on ceiling and one has to look closely to see repair, Alex came out to check a few days later to double check to see if install was done correctly.
