Mark the manager is spineless and will not talk in the phone hiding behind a meeting no matter what time I call. I have called 5 times and each time I have been told I would get a call back. I have not received a single call from them. I do not expect a full return as I did stay which the prepaid amount on May 1st should of covered everything but I was also billed on May 3rd and again on May 5th. I was reimbursed for the May 3rd billing but not the May 5th one. Make it make sense Hilton!!!!

She didn't even ask for my name/confirmation info or anything just proceeded to tell me that they are at capacity and are fully booked. I gave her my husband's name stating we booked weeks in advance. It wasn't until after I called him did she finally ask me if I reserved a room for Esteban...Never gave this name. I gave her the correct name again and then she realized I actually did have a reservation. I politely left and cancelled the room and called corporate. We have stayed at multiple Hilton locations and are honors members. I have never received service like this at any of the other hotels and truly enjoy my stay. I was able to book at another Hilton location that was great however I will not return here when visiting Waco.

Mattresses and pillows were lumpy and needed to be replaced. We went to breakfast and used the toaster which would not stop toasting, unplugged it to stop the burning toast, no help was to be found. When the attendant came back, she took out the burnt toast and laid it on the table, and plugged broken toaster up and walked away. This was an upgrade to a King Suite!

When she ultimately took a turn for the worse and we lost her, I had to remain even longer. From the very beginning, the entire staff was exceptional. The GM, Mr. Patel, along with JJ, Karen, Nico, Thomas, Donna, and the entire housekeeping team, showed kindness, patience, and genuine compassion throughout my stay. They worked with me through every extension and supported me during one of the hardest moments of my life. Their empathy and professionalism were unmatched. Because of them, I will absolutely stay here again. Their care made all the difference.

I asked when I could speak to the manager. "I dunno... maybe 930" I asked her to have the manager call me. No call. 10:15 am went back to desk and she back on her phone, she finally looks up, "Oh yea" walks away. When a woman who said she was a "manager," she was dismissive and saud she got stuck in the rain and traffic. When I explained what happened, one of the workers in Spanish asked what room number. The manager told her. Not sure if she was trying to figure if it was the room she cleaned or was ticked off because she was going to have to clean it. The "manager" said she could check me out early and I would be refunded for the 2nd night I had prepaid but refused a refund or compensation for the biohazard and safety conditions . She said she had to talk to the manager.... so was she manager? Then she promised a follow-up call after talking with the manager but that never came. This property is unsanitary, and the staff's "not my problem" attitude is unacceptable. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

On the day of our arrival, we called the hotel to let them know we were driving over seven hours and would not arrive until after 1:00 a.m. The employee who answered the phone acted strangely when we explained who we were, and it became obvious why when we arrived--they had already given away the room we had reserved. Instead of honoring our confirmed reservation, they put us in a tiny room with one king bed and a small pull-out couch. It was completely inadequate for four adults and a service dog. After a seven-hour drive and arriving after 1:00 a.m., we had no choice but to make it work. To make matters worse, the room was filthy. The shower had visible mold, and the room felt dirty and poorly maintained. My husband is a Marriott Titanium Elite member with more than 70 hotel stays this year. We remain loyal to Marriott because we expect reservations to be honored and basic cleanliness standards to be met. Unfortunately, this stay was a complete disappointment and one of the worst Marriott experiences we've ever had. If you reserve a specific room here, don't assume you'll actually get it--even if you call ahead to confirm your late arrival. We will never stay here again. Yourr here for work a little walk to your room wont hurt you. One ice machine kept having particles making me wonder last time it was routinely cleaned. Otherwise it was a clean place with very thin walls and clientele that feels the need to lurk around and move and make noise all day and night if they're staying upstairs. Guess you get what you pay for and the price was nice location perfect for restaurants and stores and truly not a bad place with the exception of the cons!
