Went here with my friend to get some things she needed for her business. I couldn't believe how big the store was and the huge walk-in freezer refrigerator and freezer! It was awesome!! I do suggest wearing a coat though because of how cold it is. read more

This place is primarily a business for businesses. I would never probably come here again unless in the future I own a restaurant or a bodega but I'm very thankful and grateful that today they allowed outside customers that does not own a business a one time courtesy to shop. Although everything was in bulk, we did happen to get some Clorox and other things that we needed. So for that thanks a bundle. read more

This is a big box store for restaurants. To shop here you'll need a tax ID to join, though. Need 50 lbs. of potatoes, gallon jars of mayo, 100's of napkins or dozens of forks? They have it. There are some things a home kitchen can use; tongs, food scales, pans and knives etc. at good prices. If your hosting a party there is a section of disposable items, Bain Marie's, bar tools and glasses. read more

No one was wearing gloves. Not enforcing customers wearing masks, virtually every cashier is has their mask under their noses, no in gives a toot about social distancing and it's definitely not enforced. Whatever they say they are doing it is pure lip service. They were grabbing credit cards and key cards. I saw someone bring it up with a manager in front of me who told them they were overreacting about the virus. This is that kinda place. So yeah, not taking this seriously, I don't think I'm gonna go back until there is a vaccine so I don't have to deal with their carelessness. I highly recommend this place if you'd like to catch coronavirus. read more

This is a huuuuuge place, and they have soooo many things. I went looking for a Godzilla-sized strainer for a friend who makes his own marinara sauce. They had it there, reasonable price, but I also spent a couple of hours looking at everything else! It's AMAZING! read more

But still many employees do not know how to operate the store properly, since it is beginning stage, which I understand When I ask how much is certain product, they couldn't answer even try to find it out. Are so many items do not have price tag on it. I have been visiting many different restaurant depots. By comparing others, it needs to be organized more. Very convenient to have this place in Newburgh! Customer service is non-existent. There's a particular item I need to run my business, which I've been trying to see if they can special order. It is even made by one of the vendors they currently purchase from. Needless to say, I've had no response to my email, no call backs even with my number left, and no follow up even when I've inquired in person and left my business card. Place is clean and usually well stocked with the items I need for my business. Do agree with another review that it is hard to get customer service. One full star deduction for glaringly loud music in bad acoustic quality (loudspeakers tinny and screeching) and choice of music (Classic rock) Mentioned it to a manager, but they do not care. Great store for restaurants. Bread is always the freshest and reasonably price. Good prices and selection on high quality meats, seafood, cheeses, vegetables and fruits. Just remember this is a big box store so the quantities are LARGE. I age meats and mix spices as a side business so from a quantity, quality and pricing perspective their great. It's the ALL NEW Restaurant Depot in Newburgh! It's also the closest one I've ever been near. Usually I'm treking over 60 miles either North or South to Albany or Port Chester. This location is super easy to find right off the thruway. I took a star off ONLY because last month was my first visit and I needed fresh seafood for a birthday party. That was my number one priority. They opened in February and they didn't have the fresh seafood section open by my first visit...in June? Other than that, it's great. read more

I special ordered chicken halves through Restaurant Depot in Newburgh for a BBQ dinner. My order was not there the day I was scheduled to pick-up. Or the day after that. Or the day after that. Now I have tickets sold for a chicken BBQ and no chicken. Thank God for Ace Endico in Brewster who was able to fill my order last minute AND get me a better price. read more
