Really good good if you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food. The staff was really nice and helpful when asking what places to visit around.

Amazing meal after a good workout hiking to the waterfall at El Yunque. Everything was delicious

Amazing meal after a good workout hiking to the waterfall at El Yunque. The chicken pastelles were delicious, as were the beans. The fried cheese was mild but tasty, and the beef empenadas were very rich. Wish they had a Puerto Rican restaurant like his back home in Los Angeles!

They were addictive, it was hard to not eat all of them. They would also be a good dessert - reminiscent of beignets, but with less oil and sugar. For main I had the churrasco skirt steak with rice of the day. It was a generous portion of steak topped with a delicious churrasco fragrant with garlic. The rice was well seasoned and perfectly cooked texture. Server was enthusiastic about the food and providing suggestions. Though I suspect everything on the menu is delicious. Guests at all the tables around me raved about their meals. Indoor seating is cozy and comfortable. There's a small bar with counter seating.

The waitress (who was super cool) had to go and remind the bar to make my wife's drink. Then, she had to go and ask the kitchen why my entree hadn't come out when everyone else had been served 5 minutes prior. The food was good (especially the churrasco), but this was a very expensive meal. Like, "Holy hell is that correct?!"-when they bring you the check level expensive. We would go back for those drinks, but I would need to sell a couple of non-vital organs before we could afford to go back for a full meal.

Food was amazing after a 3hr hike at el yunque ! Service was fast! We ate outside and as a storm passed and got to enjoy good food and vibes.

A good sized parking lot and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted by Abnier who was our server and bartender. He told us inside was extremely hot, it would be better to sit outside by the fan- which we did. We did peak on the inside and it was lit up nicely and they had a tree right in the center- which was pretty cool. Abnier was very kind and attentive. We had gotten passion fruit drinks, which were delicious! I might say the menu is extremely limited and a little different tastings from what I'm used to when I come to Puerto Rico. I got the fried cheese with guava sauce underneath it was pretty good. Overall I liked my meal, the meal I originally wanted they didn't have, so that was a bummer so I just got the appetizer as a meal instead, so I was still hungry right after the fact. But it would've been nice to sit inside and enjoy it. Would I come back here probably not. But I did enjoy my time.

My husband wanted to try a steak while on vacation so we decided to try this place…read more Location is beautiful so we were already pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Service was great and with a smile. He ordered the steak and I had the fried pork with arroz mamposteado. Everything was delicious!!! Best mamposteado I've had in any of my trips to PR. We were hungry after touring El Yunque and found this local tourist spot. I am not big on big…read moretourist traps but since it was technically "linner" we decided to give it a try. Restaurant is big with indoor and outdoor seating with a Tiki bar across from the restaurant. We chose to sit inside for the cool air. Our server was very nice but not very attentive. We started off with the pina coladas and some agua and it took her about 15 min to come back with our drinks and she also gave us Perrier water of which we did not order (she looked confused). We ordered the alcapurria with ground beef. They were tasty and crispy. I ordered the mofongo rellenos con pollo and it was tasty as well and a decently sized portion. BFF ordered the mofongo rellenos con carne frita (fried pork) & his plato was bigger and he said it was ok. He also ordered a side of rice (they didn't have arroz con gandules) and it had day old stewed habichuelas so it was nice and moist. Overall, it was ok. I think had it not been for the lack of service I would have rated this place four stars. We also ordered a couple of pina coladas and we had to ask our server if she placed the order correctly as we could not taste the rum at all (she claimed she got that complaint often and it was probably blended in).
